My car’s battery died in a garage in SF and we had bought a new one and had replaced it. When turning on the car it was dead. We had speculations that it could of been the starter or ignition. I lived in SJ and had to leave my car in the garage overnight. After hours of panicking about having to call a tow truck to tow my car to SJ for $ 600, I came upon Calderon Tow and Auto. I called and Carlos answer and he had asked what happened. He told me he was a Master Technician and he would have me on my way back to SJ. I told him where my car was and he got right to work. Fix my car in matter of minutes and even told me how to clean and maintain my car for this incident to never happen again. Thank you so much Carlos! If you need someone ASAP especially on a Sunday (where every other place is closed) call CARLOS!

It’s 3am and my cars battery died on me. Contacted this company 3 times in 1 hour and not one phone call was answered. Please do not claim you are a 24hr towing company when you do not answer calls in the middle of the night.

Carlos is fantastic. He is prompt, personable and extremely helpful. He said he would be by in 20 minutes, but he was there in 15. He walked me through every step he was taking with my car and explained why he was doing it. He also made several suggestions that would get me quality service and the best deal. I really appreciated his help and professionalism. You can’t go wrong with Carlos!

We just got back from vacation only to have the car crap out on us in the middle of a busy intersection. Carlos came to the rescue. He was wonderful to work with: he was very communicative, efficient, and thorough. He set realistic expectations and exceeded them. Lastly, Carlos came quickly to the rescue. I was able to make my flight to Zurich because of Carlos when our car suddenly died right before the S. SF BART station. He responded within minutes and offered arrangements for repairs when I got back. He was very personable, but the best part of it was that I felt I got a fair deal after it was all said and done; you know the feeling of being ripped off. This was definitely not the case. I wish he was in Sacto, where I live.
That was the first part… the second part was getting back home safely from my trip. I was able to count on him in repairing my car at the BART station. True to Murphy’s Law, a simple replacement of the alternator turned into a big job because of the condition of the car. Carlos never gave up and kept assuring us that he would get us home. He definitely did and I definitely appreciated this. After getting home, he followed up with us that we got home safely; I really felt that we were taken cared of. We considered ourselves lucky to be able to give Carlos a call. The situation could have been worse, with another service. Thank You, Carlos!

Carlos Calderon is great!
I called him early in the morning to help me with a window repair, which I know is not a direct service, but he was able to refer me to another business partner. I was worried that I would have to wait for a while to get a response. I had already spoken with the insurance company (who quoted me a much high price) and I was on hold for 30 minutes! Carlos answered right away, was happy to help, and took care of contacting his other partner and got the situation remedied for me in minutes!
He’s a hard worker, he is fair, and shows that customer service is his number one priority. I look forward to using his services again in the future.

Carlos will go above and beyond for you and he will make sure you know what the real problem is and you won’t get a crappy deal. He is honest and forthcoming and he really knows his stuff. From now on we will always call him first for everything. Anything he can’t do himself he knows who to go to for a good deal and a good job.

It was a pleasure dealing with Carlos. I was driving and suddenly my car stopped going into gear. I thought maybe my clutch was out and that I would probably need a new one. I called up Carlos for an estimate on the tow and after a series of questions, he was able to diagnosis it as a faulty clutch master cylinder. He walked me through how to start and drive my car home without the use of the clutch and stayed on the phone with me through drive. He even told me to call after I made it home safely. That’s going above and beyond anything I would have expected! l. Call Carlos for any and all of your towing needs! He’s honest and a great guy! I definitely saved his number

Amazing service and will recommend Carlos to anyone with auto repair or towing needs. He went out of his way to explain what he believed was wrong with the car to make sure I was knowledgeable when dealing with the repair shop. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t over charged for repair service not needed. A+ service, probably best in the Bay Area.

I was stranded on the 92 and after FOUR tow companies saying either they couldn’t pick me up or wanting to charge $ 300 plus — I found the ray of light that Calderon Tow and Auto is. I am so thankful I crossed paths with this great guy. My car was in great hands and I got it to my destination. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. This is coming from a NURSE, who cares about his patients… therefore, I know that Carlos cares about his clients like I would want my patients to be treated! God bless!

Carlos was definitely the sun I was looking for in the cloudy sky today. After fail after fail by BMW Roadside Assistance (2h to even find a towing company), I saw Calderon as a top rated company close by and gave them a call. 40min later Carlos was there to pickup me and my car. Him and his co-​pilot Livian were great company on our ride up to San Rafael to drop off my car at the dealership. Definitely will look up Calderon for any future towing needs.

I really appreciate their excellent service. He is so professional. I call for my father in law because he did not speak English well. My father in law has a big Van, his van was stuck on the roadside of the highway. He can’t start his Van. But he does not know where he is. I can’t locate my father in law either. So I go to Unilocal and find this towing company according to the review. I decide to have a try. Carlos picked phone nicely and advise me to let my father in law to take some pictures around. He located my father in law quickly and towing the car quickly. He is a good person. My father in law first think about towing the big van back to San Jose. Carlos gives a good idea that we can tow the van to nearby dealer. Carlos know exactly where it is. He is an honest person. He does not overcharge. Thanks to Carlos, he made a pre-​diagnosis on my car situation. He gave me a lot of advice, bring my car to a good garage he knows, and bring me back to a Bart station. Price is good and service is convenient! You can trust his service.

Guy was a condescending jerk on the phone and can’t change tired on large trucks. Stalked me on my iPhone see photos for evidence. There is nothing better than calling for help and getting harassed instead.

Refused to offer me service. Called and tried to explain my simple situation.
The front wheels of my car got damaged after hitting an obstruction on the road. This caused the car to be unsafe in high winds and at speeds above 40MPH.
All I needed was a tow from San Francisco Mission Bay Area to right across the bridge to a body shop. Was asked a series of questions and then told that they do not want to do the job.

I echo everyone’s sentiments here when they say Carlo’s services are the best. I needed to have my car towed because the serpentine belt broke. Carlos knew what the problem was exactly and what parts needed to be replaced, in my case it was the tensioner and serpentine belt. I would have had Carlos fix it himself but my brother insisted we have his favorite mechanic take a look at it.
We had the car towed to the autobody shop and Carlos went out of his way to confirm cost of the parts and spoke to the Mechanic about what needed to be done to make sure I wouldn’t be ripped off. 5 stars for service, 5 stars for professionalism and 5 stars for his Mercedes flat bed tow truck. I would highly recommend him for roadside assistance and repairs. He will not steer you wrong! Hope to see and work with you again!
