Established in 2007.

Cool Chez A/​C and Heat began serving the Austin and surrounding community in 2007. Chez was inspired to open the business to provide people with service at a reasonable price. He also really wanted to help out his community by providing after hour calls without an extra charge. Due to Chez’s dedication to helping out his customers, he has built up a great reputation among the community.

Chez is great. I am a contractor as well and they have installed at least 15 systems for me in the last year. He is always timely and accessible and when there is an issue or adjustment that needs to be made, he makes it right. They are definitely a part of the team that makes the clock tick. After having a very bad experience with another company, I called Cool Chez. He got the part I needed and installed very quickly. I highly recommend that you choose this company when you need A/​C work done. Compared to other companies I found his price to be very affordable. I will call Cool Chez the next time I need work done and will recommend them to others.

Came home to a hot house on a holiday weekend. Was expecting no one to be available to come right away, let alone within an hour! Chez answered on the first call and was out to our house within an hour of calling him. He was very friendly and informative. He said he wouldn’t charge just for diagnosing the problem. He showed me exactly what was wrong and what part needed to be replaced (presumably giving me a chance to fix it myself). I didn’t want to mess with any of that so I went ahead and just let him do it. The price seemed fair enough. On top of that, parts and labor are guaranteed for two years! Hope to not need his services again for a very long time, but he will be the first guy I call if the need arises.

A/​C went out on Friday. Tried to fix it ourselves but didn’t seem to have the knowledge necessary. Suffered through Saturday and Sunday. Finally couldn’t take it anymore. Chez was close and the only guy that would answer the phone on a holiday. (Labor day) He fixed the problem in minutes which was actually something we had done wrong. Didn’t even ask for money. He almost refused to take anything. We insisted so he simply said, «whatever you think it’s worth.» I like an honest guy so we’re keeping his number handy Thank you Chez!

Chez was sent out by our wonderful contractor Jason Box to repair the mini-​split AC we had installed in our den that didn’t work. He replaced it in about an hour on the second visit and it works perfectly now. He gave me his phone number and showed me how to work the remote. Very courteous, inteligent, helpful. Definitely would use him again for any AC problems.

I called at 8:15 AM on a Saturday, and they arrived at the house in 30 minutes, as promised. In 5 minutes, they had the problem identified. The part they needed was not on the truck, but there was no need to worry. They drove across town to get the part and had our system in working order by 10:30 AM. They took the time to answer all of our questions patiently and professionally, and they also explained their two year warranty on parts and labor. They charged an honest price for two guys for two hours plus parts. Excellent job!

I hesitate to write this review, only because knowing about Chez feels like a local secret!
It was a Thursday in June. My AC quit on me. Fox Service couldn’t come out until Monday. Oh helllll no!
Our friends had told us about Chez… so we called him. He said he’d come out that day sometime after 6. The guy is busy, but he kept his word. It was close to 9 by the time he could make it, and he fixed the unit in about 6 minutes. Talk about good ol’ fashioned service. He was super nice, too.
Go local people! In this heat, you can’t afford not to.
