History

Established in 1999.

After becoming the founder of Brekhus Tile & Stone in 1999, Jeff Brekhus has led the company through rapid growth and geographical expansion, steadily diversifying its portfolio through a focus on quality craftsmanship, durability of every installation and excellent customer service. In its first nine years of business, the company has grown far beyond individual residential and commercial projects, adding ongoing contracts with the country’s largest restaurant and hotel chains, as well as the Denver metro region’s most upscale shopping malls.

A trained architect, with experience in high-​end resorts, commercial projects and public facilities, Kym uses her extensive knowledge of design and architecture to integrate the work of Brekhus Tile & Stone efficiently and cost-​effectively with every construction project. As Owner and CEO Kym manages all day-​to-​day operations, estimation, and sourcing for the company.

Jeff, in charge of all field operations for the company, is acknowledged as one of the leading tile industry experts in this region of the country. He sits on the product development and technological advisory board at one of the world’s largest producers of setting materials.
