Small, neighborhood store that’s perfect for grabbing a last minute bottle of wine. The owners are really friendly. I’m glad this place is so close to my apartment.

I don’t live in the neighborhood & needed an affordable bottle or two of white wine to bring to my girl friend’s house. Tony was incredibly helpful(& cute to boot!). He went in the cooler & dug out a chilled Bota box so my stop was affordable.

Great neighborhood liquor store. Always the friendliest people working there and they have a great selection of beer and wine. Prices are hard liquor are above average, but their beer and wine prices are good. They carry a lot of micro brews which is nice. Bring your dog! They have dog treats and my dog always expects to go in if we walk by.

It’s a nice little liquor store. For their size they fit a variety of options. The owners & employees are great. I give it 3 stars only because it seems they open the store when they want, not the business hours posted.

This place is exactly what I’d want in a neighborhood liquor store. The staff is really nice, and their selection is as good as it could be considering how small the store is. Their microbrew prices are quite reasonable, so I have few regrets about going here versus other bigger liquor stores.

Love this as my local neighborhood liquor store. They have all of my go-to wine favorites, so I’m a happy camper. They are also SUPER friendly and they let me bring my dog inside — they even have doggy treats behind the counter! Highly recommend this spot for anyone that lives in the area.

These guys have been my local liquor store for the entire 4 years I’ve lived in Denver. Some of the nicest people around. Every once in a while I kill two birds with one stone and take the Finnster(my dog) for a walk and wine run. One day as I was tying him up outside the owner stopped me and said they were dog friendly and I could bring him in. They even have doggy treats behind the counter! The prices are very fair, considering they’re a corner store that could charge a lot more for convenience. I’ll miss this place once I move, but when I come back for City Park Jazz I’ll stop here for a tetra-pack of wine. Also doesn’t hurt that their son works the Sunday afternoon shift, and god bless him — he’s pretty easy on the eyes. Also probably underage, but whatevs. Keep up the good work, Ted.

The ultra friendly employees/owners stock a great selection of beer and wine at low prices. I don’t drink liquor, but they seem to have a nice assortment of spirits on hand & a variety of mixers. Lovely corner store.

Friendliest staff in Denver, awesome selection of beers, booze, and wines. The owner and his wife go out of their way to remember the neighborhood folk, and are always super dooper nice, and for that I love em.

from the sidewalk, this place looks like a hole in the wall(and that’s why i docked it one star). go inside, however, and you’ll meet possibly the nicest business owners in denver – let alone liquor store owners. the selection is okay and the prices are reasonable. you have to understand that day in and out, these people deal with a whole range of customers: twitchy alcoholics who panhandle outside on occasion to fancy folks on their way to city park jazz. everyone is treated with courtesy and respect. so please, don’t be turned off by it’s outward appearance as i was so many times before i actually entered. if you need to pop in for a sixer or bottle of wine, this place will absolutely meet your needs.

great service! their all very friendly and recognize us everytime we come in. Pretty good prices… and convenient. They have the Golden Monkeys-although they tend to sell out… which is all that matters in life :)

This is a very small, family run neighborhood liquor store which serves the City Park/Bluebird district. They are always very nice with a «hello» and a «how are you» and a smile. The store is small and tightly packed. But for the size of the store, Ted’s manages to keep a surprisingly decent selection of everything on hand. I especially enjoy the beer selection. I can always count on an exciting variety of craft beer from Colorado and beyond, as well as all the old standbys. Typically, a neighborhood liquor store like this severely overcharges, either because they can or because they have to just to stay profitable. But I find Ted’s prices reasonable. I know some of the wine prices are at least the same as at Argonaut. Some craft beer six-packs are actually cheaper at Ted’s than they are at Argonaut. I’m happy this store is in my neighborhood.

After a session of brunch & brew at Goosetown, Tony N. and I needed to pick up some more alcohol in order to face the rest of the day. On the way back to his apt, we checked out Ted’s Liquors. Not a horrible place, but I was underwhelmed by their Scotch and beer selection, not to mention the clerk’s knowledge of their own inventory: Me: What kind of single malt Scotch you got? Clerk: Scotch? Always really useful when your question is answered with a question. One extra star for the owner not eating the pizza we left in the store — after walking out armed with liquor to the teeth, I guess we forgot about our pie. A very convenient spot if you live, say, on Detroit St.

Ran in here for a little Hennesey and Jose Cuervo. It was Cinco de Mayo so had to get a little something for Kentucky Derby Daze and after party with the gringos. Decent prices.
