Food was good. Prices are decent. I’ve only been here once but I will come back and review this place again. Staff is polite and food comes in around 5 – 8 minutes.

Very meh. Nothing to write home about. Wasn’t disgusted nor at all impressed. I’ll order from here again if I’m starving and in a rush, but certainly not otherwise. My search for good Chinese in or around Dobbs Ferry continues.

The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is the delivery was very slow. It took over an hour for a not complicated, kind of small order. The food was worth the wait though! The portion sizes are slightly smaller than other places in the area, for roughly the same price. The quality is so much better. The fried dumplings have a thinner, wonton wrapper, not the super thick dough of most places. The dipping sauce was really tasty too, not just a lot of soy sauce with scallions. General Tso’s with white meat chicken was really good. I asked for it not too spicy, it was perfect! Tender meat, tasty sauce, not overly sweet. The fried rice was fresh, good amount of roast pork. We ordered regular spare ribs and boneless. Both were awesome. They melt in your mouth. Best boneless ribs I’ve had in Westchester in years! This place is as close to what you get in the city as it can be in Westchester. Just be prepared to pay a little more for a smaller volume, and wait a little longer, which is all absolutely worth it!

This is my regular place when I get my hankering for Chinese food. The owners are very sweet and accommodating .I love the vegetable dumlpings which are not the usual thick ones. Good spot!

Very good and brand new Chinese food restaurant in Dobbs Ferry. Prices are in check with other no frill Chinese food establishments of its caliber but because it’s brand new it’s cleaner looking and feeling. Wonton soup is above par, boneless spare ribs are delicious, but the fried rice is just average. Needless to say I’ll definitely be back. Glad to have this is Dobbs.

I was out in the countryside of Westchester one evening for an annual French Literature Conference I attend every year. The presenters this time around were just marvelous. There was a spectacular theory dissecting the influence of cats on Rousseau’s work and an interesting burlesque reenactment of the French Revolution performed by a local senior home. On my drive home I stopped in one of the hamlets of the Hudson River, Dobbs Ferry. This is a bustling little village with vibrancy and local eateries for all types of people. I surveyed the town’s options and stumbled on Golden Dragon, a Chinese-food restaurant. The décor of Golden Dragon was more parchment than gold, as the there really seemed to be minimal effort put into the interior decoration. This is a mom and pop shop and I shall not seek to judge during these treacherous financial times for the middle-class. For my dinner, I chose the General Tso’s dinner combination and waited about ten minutes for the chef to make my dish. During my wait, the owner’s son joined me at my table in the back. He had a huge sized electronic tablet and seemed disinterested in conversing with the ol’ Reverend. After five minutes of sitting in silence, a woman’s voice beckoned from the rear of the kitchen screaming«Chow-Chow up!» The lights suddenly began to dim and an older gentleman began to play the Erhu, an ancient two-stringed fiddle, in the back of the room. Suddenly, my dear Chow Chow was doing an acrobatic performance just for my entertainment. He was going from graceful handstands into wonderful cartwheels and flips in the air. I was treated to a five-minute performance from this young man that was full of flight and pure emotion. The timing of the performance was to perfection as my food was delivered very soon after. The chicken tasted succulent and the rest of meal was a delight. I will surely stop here after my next conference! 5⁄5 — Chow Chow is a marvelous artist and the food is a wonderful addition.

This place is a gem. I always bring the kids here for the hospitable service and amazing egg rolls and General Tsao Chicken. They even eat the broccoli because of the wonderful sauce. The people who own it are very pleasant, too. A great spot to drop in or get take out.

This place is always a consistent good. I usually do takeout so I can’t comment on the delivery service. The food is always fresh and tastes wonderful. I would recommend this place for a quick meal.

User to be my favorite lunch place(inexpensive lunch specials including a soup or soda). But 3 strikes and they are out. Completely inedible cold sesame noodles were the last straw. And the place is dirty! Never again.

Although delivery is quick that’s the only good thing about the place. 1) Highly saturated with MSG — get constant headaches after eating any of their food. 2) One question should food have a piece of metal wire included as an extra bonus? Well to my surprise my food did have a metal wire in it. Food needed to be thrown out. Would not recommend this place if it was the only place in town.

Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised! I have tried Tenbo & China House, here in Dobbs Ferry, and the chicken Lo Mein + pork fried rice at both places is disgusting. I decided to pull the trigger on Golden Dragon(even though the outside doesn’t look very appealing), and I’m glad I did! The food is pretty good, and the service is great.

The food did nothing for me. Fried rice was bland, beef and broccoli meat tasted funny and the dumplings were thick with more wrapping than filling. I would not go there again, bad memories.

This is the first time I’ve ever looked up at the menu and couldn’t understand what I was reading… and it was completely in english. You look up at their menu board and there aren’t any prices and the entrée names are really incoherent. Since I couldn’t understand anything, I simply just asked the girl at the counter what was popular, so I ended up with General Tso’s chicken. Other than the menu issue, this place is pretty bare bones and bland on the inside, but I don’t knock it for that. Ordered it for takeout and I was disappointed there weren’t any utensils in the bag when I got home. Overall though, the price was reasonable, the food was OK/fairly tasty, and the portions were fairly decent so I have no real complaint. The bottom line: I’d come back if I’m in the mood for cheap Chinese food(which we all do at some time), but I wouldn’t take my visitors here.
