Codman Lock

Codman Lock is great. I use them for my housecleaning business merry maids of Boston. My customers need copies of keys, broken locks etc. We help them by getting a key copy or arranging to fix a lock order a lock part.
If they ever make a mistake they quickly correct it, no fuss no charge.
They are 5 star, (sometimes Unilocal removes 1 stars and 5 stars some kind of formula) so I gave them a 4 star

I’ve been using Codman locks for my apartment building in Dorchester and they are great. They always arrive on time, keep all my keys on file and is able to make duplicates for my tenants if they lose their keys. They can replace the key part without replacing the whole lock and are my go to people for all lock related issues. They provide ease of mind and a sold well done job each time!

As locksmiths, these guys are awesome. Friendly and very well priced for what they do. Personally, they got me out of a jam. Locked myself out! After a few attempts failed, including jimmying, a metal strip and balloon, he managed to get me in. Replacement part was needed for no extra cost.
Made my day! All for a reasonable flat fee.

It was a little hard for me to get into this place. It’s owner-​operated so the hours are somewhat limited. However, once I got in I was not disappointed.
First, the owner was able to create a key for a shed lock that I never had the key to. The lock was from a home depot shed, but home depot was unable to sell me a new lock without buying an entire new shed around it. After wasting much time with Home Depot, Codman Lock expertly took care of the problem, and I now have a locking shed.
I also bought a new knob/​lock for my basement door. The owner was very knowledgeable about everything in the store, and encouraged me to buy the cheapest lock he had based on the needs I described to him. Being downsold gets you points in my book for honesty and integrity. I have another lock that I don’t have the key to and I am planning to take it to Codman Lock as well.
