Nichols Carpet Cleaning

I highly recommend Nichols Carpet Cleaners. I’ve used them 3x for two different residences. I LOVE THEM!!! They deep-​cleaned my carpet when I had an old dog who would leave, ehem, «presents» on the floor for us, and they were not only able to come out the same day for an emergency visit with no extra charge, but more importantly, they got all the smell out! (I had a baby at the time, so having clean carpets was paramount!)
When we were about to move, we called Nichols again because we decided not to change the carpet or kitchen floor tiles, which were all original in the house (over 10 years old). They cleaned it so well that my realtor was shocked and even the decorator who staged our house for Open House commented on how clean the carpet and tiles were!
I would use them again, hands down.

I set up my carpet cleaning appt via email, which was perfect for my busy work schedule. They were also able to provide me the quote with the information I provided. I called to confirm my appointment and provide details a few days prior to our scheduled cleaning, the lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly. On the day of the cleaning, Nichols arrived right on time, were professional, and quick. They cleaned all of our carpet (about 1500 sqft; master bedroom, 15 stairs/​steps, living/​dining room, 2 bedrooms, and an upstairs hall) in under an hour. I had already written a check by the time they completed the cleaning and come to find out, it was actually slightly less than the quote they provided. I am impressed with the honesty when they corrected me and let me know I needed to rewrite the check for a lesser amount. My overall experience with this company was fantastic and I have already recommended them to family and friends. The carpets look great, the cleaners were professional, no time was wasted, and the cost was much less than the quotes I was given from other companies.

I needed a move out carpet clean and they were there on time (early actually) and were very professional and courteous — I even asked if they could swing by my new place to clean an area rug and no problem, they were there later that same afternoon.
Paying was very easy as well — and I must say, the prices were very reasonable!
I will use these guys again!

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place deserves one. I have used many different carpet cleaners in the past and none of them compare to this company. I heard of this company by my realtor. I called to receive a quote and the receptionist was very knowledgable and nice. Then when Victor and his associate arrived to my home they were very nice and knew their stuff. They were honest and did not try to sell me anything my home did not need. They took their time cleaning my carpets and the carpets looked brand new after they were cleaned. Victor was out of scotch guard when he came to my house. So he made a special trip the following day to scotch guard my carpets once he obtained more product. Their prices were very reasonable. I can’t say enough positive things about this company. I have my own local small business (veterinary hospital) and understand the importance of good service. They provided me with the best service and I am a client for life!!! Thank you Victor and staff.

Highly recommend. We have used Nichols Carpet Cleaning for several years now. They have always done an excellent job for us at a good price This time we needed to have our bathroom grout cleaned and sealed. I called and made an appt for Wed at 12:00. They arrived on time and began work immediately. Victor is very professional and provided excellent customer service as usual.

Nichols was a great find for us. They showed up on time, and began work right away on our carpets. Victor (owner) was on site, and he supervised the entire job. They were polite, listened to our concerns, and did a great job being careful around furniture and baseboards… we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. And the price was reasonable… we were advised on the phone of the cost, and they actually lowered it when they were on site and found the square footage to be a bit less than I had explained. (who does that these days???) … and as for our friends at Coit, they were over the top quoting literally DOUBLE the price for the same work. We are happy to recommend Nichols to anyone interested, and will go back to them in a heartbeat when looking for carpet cleaning services!

I’ve used Nichols for many years and Victor has always done an amazing job! The price is much lower than the companies who pay big bucks to advertise on the radio. He is reliable and prompt and the carpets always look brand new when he is done! I referred him to my mom and sister-​in-​law and they would never use ANY other carpet cleaner! We are ALL big «Nichols Carpet Cleaning» fans!!!

Good customer service, easy scheduling, but not much difference to my carpet.
I really wanted to have a great experience with Nichols carpet cleaning. They had very good reviews on Unilocal,and when I called their number I was immediately helped by a nice lady who was able to schedule my carpet cleaning on a very short notice., and give me a quote over the phone, which was great. The crew arrived on time, and got to work right away. I tried to make small talk and ask about their green cleaning but they didn’t go in too much detail, they just wanted to get to work, which was fine. The reason why I would only give them 3 stars is because there was no dramatic difference on my carpet after they did the job. It was like I had steamed the carpet myself. It didn’t look like professional carpet cleaning. My carpet was not too dirty to begin with but I expected to see some visible improvement after professional
cleaning. I think I will try another company next time.

My wife tried to use another carpet cleaner to save a little money and it truly was not worth it. Nichol’s takes the time to do the job right and takes a lot of pride in their work. We’re thankful for the great job they do.

Victor has been cleaning our carpets for more than six years now, and he’s always done a fantastic job. He’s prompt, professional, friendly, and hardworking. He even managed to get dry erase marker out of the carpet in my daughter’s room.

I waited to write a review of Nichols Carpet Cleaning until I had used them more than once to be sure that they were as good as I remembered. Let me tell you, if you are in their service area, these are the guys to use! I love that it is owner operated so I am supporting small business, and that he (Victor) had a real stake in doing great work. He shows up on time and is very friendly. He and his partner work SO HARD and do a very thorough job.
The method they use does not use a ton of soap that, if not rinsed thoroughly enough will attract more dirt nor pose a heath risk to my kids and pets. They were so respectful of my time and my house and really CARED about the results. Try getting that from a big francise company.
The long and short of it is if you want your carpets cleaned well by someone who really cares, go with Nichols. When they leave and your see your carpets, you’ll know you got a great deal too!

Victor Nichols is the owner of Nichols Carpet cleaning. Victor was very prompt in returning my phone call and provided a competitive quote over the phone, which most cleaning businesses do not.
I utilized his services when a recent furniture delivery left oil and dirt tracks through my front entrance, up my stairs, through the hall and into my master bedroom. Needless to say I was very upset.
Fortunately, Victor was able to help service my request the same day, giving me a 30-​minute window of when his crew would show up. The truck showed up on time, his crew was professional, pre-​soaking the stains and removing them. I was even more impressed when I requested that he clean an additional area, without charge.
All the stains are out. Job well done. I will use Victor’s service in the future.

Update: Carpet still looks good after a few days to dry out. I’m pleased with the results except for one stubborn stain that was not able to come completely out. I’m not dinging Nichols Carpet since this was not part of the original job quoted… it was a freebie.

This is the second time I have used Nichols Carpet Cleaning and like my first experience, was very happy. They showed up on time and ready to go — actually remembering cleaning my carpets from the prevous time. They completed the job in the time frame they estimated and provided me with a great price. Wonderful job on the carpets, great service — you can’t go wrong!

I called this guys the day before I had guest coming over and they were willing to take me in last minute. Not only that, the job was superbly done. I plan to use them again.

First off, this was my first experience with professional carpet cleaning. So, by my own Unilocal rule, I cannot give a 5-​star rating (reserved for the best ever, and with one sample, that doesn’t work). That said, I am totally satisfied with the price, the cleanliness of my carpet, the speed with which the job was done, and everything else. I am writing this just after they left, so if any problems arise (which I do not expect) after the treatment dries, there may be more to say. But for now, I’m planning to use them again.

They were great. I was moving in a new house and my landlord was going to take care of the carpet cleaning but his guys didn’t clean at all although they said they did but anyways I needed a real carpet cleaning and I needed urgent so I found Nichols carpet cleaning via Unilocal and gave them a call. It was a last minute call but they came right away and did an excelent job. The carpet was a mess. I didn’t believe it was ever going to be clean but these guys did a fantastic job. I highly recomend them. I am going to get their service regularly from know on. Nice people great job. 5 stars

This COMPANY is amazing! Not only did they make my 30+ year old carpets in my rental look BRAND SPANKIN NEW — but they cleaned my carpets on my LUNCH BREAK!!! They were super speedy & friendly. I would reccomend them to ANYONE & IM GOING TO! & when they were leaving, one of my neighbors walked by & said «THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST CARPETS CLEANERS IN TOWN!!!» & I absolutely agree! I plan on using them every 6 months, when I move, & recommending them to anyone who crosses my path looking for a carpet cleaning service. :)
SIDE NOTE: Im not quite sure where the bored woman who accuses them of damaging her stuff came from– clearly she has WAY too much time on her hands (So take it with a grain of salt people!). You never know who people are, so I would be careful bashing people on here & how much you go out of your way to try & get compensated for something you could simply just sand or slap some paint on… Dont you have something better to do? For your sake, I hope so!

So grateful I found these guys! We have 2 kids (4 and 20 months) and our carpets were horrible. Stains from food and outside dirt were making me very depressed. I found them based on a recommendation from my mothers club and decided to try them out. The carpets are back to being clean! I was so embarrassed when we moved our «L» shaped couch — you could see the outline of the couch clear as day. Not anymore!
Highlights:
1.) They got pink paint out of our carpets! My daughter had spiled paint on the carpet a couple of months ago. I tried my best to get it out and thought it would never go away. The paint stains are gone!
2.) They brought my chair back to looking brand new. All the drool and food is now out of my accent chair for our living room. My husband and I spent a lot of money on that chair and I thought we would have to replace it for sure. Not anymore!
3.) The guys are super nice! With 2 kids at home I get a little worried sometimes have strang men in my home. You can definitely tell that this is a family run business and they are honest people.
