Very disappointed in a $ 165 a night room. Let me start my list: no soap, dirty wallpaper, popcorn on the floor and under the couch, the AC blew the curtains all night in my face on the bed. Not enough room to walk to the bed on the AC side. The remote control didn’t work. Going in to the west entrance the garbage was overflowing and trash and donuts were on the ground. The fire alarm goes off at 7:00 am. Stay somewhere else. Very disappointed they didn’t even recognize my Elite Choice status like they did the night before in Farmington and Amarillo.

Great staff, nice location, but this place is absurdly pricey for what it is. Not many veg options at morning breakfast. They charge a $ 35 pet fee, I’m a choice member and its $ 10 everywhere else. Clean. Sauna is nice, but one of the ten times we stayed here it didn’t work and the pool was filthy. Overall, it is our go-​to in Durango, but pricing needs to be evaluated. $ 200 a night with a dog for two people is just plain stupidity. Especially if those people can’t even eat breakfast the next day. Rooms are spacious, with fridge and microwave. Standard tv selection. Older, louder A/​C units. No spa, but sauna is awesome. Right down the street from Ska Brewery. 2 – 5 minutes from downtown.

Stayed here for a few nights and slept well. Price is right, location is good and it was clean. Didnt use the pool and they dont have a spa. My biggest gripe is breakfast: Ive pretty much had it with reconstituted eggs that are crumbly and tasteless and runny with water. If you are going to offer a hot breakfast do some decent eggs or contract for breakfast burritos from a local mex restaurant. And you need more than one four slice toaster for a lounge full of eaters and it’s only worse when two toaster slots dont work.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Todd, the General Manager, was OUTSTANDING at meeting some of our special needs! Plus, he was stellar at helping us solve a problem with our reservation in such a helpful, courteous, and jovial manner! Also, the young gal at the front desk was pleasant, professional, and courteous! The breakfast had a nice selection of food and drink to choose from. Well done Comfort Inn & Suites. I will recommend this to my family when they come into town for sure!

Hotel was pretty decent. They beds were not as comfortable as the Comfort Inn in Richfield UT, but they were decent. The manager made recommendations for delivery service for food. Breakfast could have been better.

I stayed here as it was late and my options were limited. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Nowhere to eat or drink within walking distance although you can pay to have food delivered from local restaurants. Breakfast was 15 minutes late and was distinctly average.

Youngtown, AZ
The staff at the comfort Inn reception were great. Handling a soccer family is a big task, much more that we also saw other soccer families staying there as well. The rooms were nice and clean, and you get breakfast included. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars was that one day the eggs tasted funny. But they have a waffle maker, whipped cream was the only other thing missing.

I’ve stayed here 3 times so far this year and will continue to stay here when I visit Durango. The staff has been so friendly and helpful every visit. Even when a blizzard blew through town, one of the staff members even helped me put my chains on my tires.
The rooms are so clean and the beds are so very comfortable. I love the pillows! All the rooms I’ve stayed in come with a fridge, microwave, and blow dryer, which is super nice. The breakfast they serve is pretty awesome too. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs and other usual continental breakfast items.
I’m always happy to stay here!

This hotel had a very nice energy and feel about it. The staff was very very friendly and helpful and i slept very well. Wifi was good, i had no problems with speed and connectivity. The only thing that bothered me was the gravy at breakfast and that it contained sausage. Not everyone eats meat and the gravy and biscuits is that one thing i look forward to every morning but didn’t eat because of the sausage in it. You already serve sausage so if someone wants it in their gravy they can chop it up and add it themselves.

What a great value. Durango is touristy year round and lodging can be pricey. This hotel is not centrally located to most of the usual downtown festivities. But for the comfort, cleanliness and helpful staff, you won’t find a better deal.
They are renovating on the 3rd floor currently, so there’s a bit of noise during the day. If the rooms turn out to be extra nice, maybe their rates will go up. Who knows? (Insert shrug here)

Was greeted at the front desk by name. My bf had called ahead, booked the room and the front desk was kind enough to pass along a message from him.
Room is super clean, comfy and everyone has been so friendly and welcoming.
They even had a little «goodie» bag waiting for me!
Bathroom is pretty sweet. Has a stand up, walk in shower that is all granite.
Bed is super comfy, choice of firm or soft pillows.
No question I will rest well tonight.

For the price it was more than I expected. Rooms are very clean bed was comfortable shower and bathroom were updated and nice. Convenient to the main road to get into downtown Durango and a few other small restaurants and grocery store across the street.
We had no problems or stay would like to stay here again of coming through Durango.

Pros: very comfy clean beds, spacious room, fridge & microwave, good breakfast, friendly employees.
Cons: serious mold problem in our bathroom (see photo). The mold is growing behind the faux granite. Ironically, the shower head was going crazy and the only way I could shower without making a mess on the floor was to turn it towards bath wall. Wouldn’t you know it, it was aiming in the direction of where the mold is. So this has been an issue for a long time. Either your housekeepers don’t care, or they are clueless as to what mold looks like.
Mold is serious, so why 4 stars? I went back and forth for a few days between 3 and 4. I went with 4 because of all the pros. And hopefully the bathrooms aren’t all bad.

We had to book last minute and were fortunate enough to get a room here. It either here or the econo lodge. Traveling with kids it was a deal breaker to have hot breakfast and a pool as a couple of the key amenities. I was able to get the deal for 15% off if I booked two nights. The room was fairly new and clean although I think the last people who stayed in our room smoked in it (even though it’s a non-​smoking room). Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good — your basic stuff. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

I have to remind myself that this hotel is 2.5 stars. I was expecting something a little nicer when I heard the hotel was recently remodeled. There were a lot of cut corners during that remodel. The walls are pretty thin, and the breakfast room was packed both mornings. Comfortable enough bed, helpful staff, and can’t complain about the food for breakfast. Good enough for the money I guess.

Good for the money — newly renovated (in progress while we were there). New mattress was comfortable. Didn’t eat breakfast because we left early in the morning. Doing some work around the pool but was still open. Old style room AC/​Heat under the window — adequate but not the best — eg. fan has to run all the time…

Average experience. Friday night Fourth of July weekend. Could not find parking space. Had to find cars in lots double parked or had a trailer. Was staffs job to do. Had to wait for cars to be moved.
