Drinky’s

They always find a way to not let minorities in whenever I was there. Not bitter, just being honest.
I’ve been denied because my shirt was «too long» yet it was a purple polo shirt that stopped above my wrists when my hands are on my side after a night at my job that required me to do 4 years of college.
My friend was denied because he had earbud headphones in his pocket. Our car was not even 3 minutes away but we were still denied entry even after we said we would put them in the car.
The non-​minorities I was with were able to get in but they left with me and we went to Pearlys instead.

To be fair, I really only stopped here to pee. :tinkle, tinkle:
Out of the goodness of my heart I had ½ of one drink. Anyways, the bartender was cool. She asked if I wanted a crap or crap lite or «something better». Obvs, I had «something better», a peach blue moon. For those of you who are now hating on me since I had a fruity beer: 1) I am a girl, 2) I like peaches.
The vibe was okay on a Wednesday. Some of the patrons, obviously not from the college, were creepy, but that is to be expected in a cheap dive bar, in a dying industrial town.
I liked the music. 90s throw backs. The space was «on fleek». (Okay I just annoyed everyone 10 years younger than me for using their language).
And for a dive bar, the ladies room was remarkably clean.
Did I mention CHEAP?

This is a dive bar so you shouldn’t come here with any expectations at all and you might actually like it. The music is decent and the drinks are good enough. Honestly if you want to get tipsy and dance around and have a pretty good time this place does the job, you just have to lower your standards a lot. This is a college town in PA it’s not like this is Hoboken or NYC.

I understand that this is a dive-​bar with local college kids running in and out. To be fair, I must say that the drinks were actually okay. My colleague and I went in for a couple drinks. The initial bartender was polite and welcoming, he took our orders and seemed to be on top of his job.
There were approximately 4 bartenders switching between the bar and some other areas in the back. We had no desire to go and partake in the club experience in the back side of the bar. That said, with the loud music and decent drinks, everything seemed okay. Until a miserable brunette bartender named «Jess» (IDK if that’s actually her name or one she made up for work) brought the mood completely down. Why did she show up for work if she didn’t want to be there? She has obvious anger issues. We were trying to figure out how we offended her by ordering more drinks. I have NEVER been treated like dirt by a bartender for ordering drinks in a bar. She acted like it was a bother and I could see the veins sticking out of her neck from anger.
I actually don’t mind various bar settings, and would probably have kept an open mind but I must admit, we were shocked and then honestly offended. I don’t know how she got hired there, or if she is in some way affiliated with the manager or owner, but her nasty attitude and constant glares while we drank and had conversation made me uncomfortable.
Again, perhaps she was having an issue in her personal life… Or maybe had trouble with her heavy eyeliner, ie: they were hurting her eyes, causing her to treat the clientele like garbage??? Whatever the situation, I won’t be going back again. It’s too bad the bartenders share tips; if it were separate, I would have left a huge tip for two of the others and a nickle for Miss Misery.

I enjoy coming to the Pub section of Drinks during the day/​evening. During my last experience the bartender (Jess) was friendly, the drinks were tasty and the food was good. I really enjoy their quesadillas. Its a nice place to grab a drink after work or hang out during a weekend afternoon. Not sure about the club section.

Don’t buy any double drinks. 14 $ for a shot and a half. This isn’t New York or Chicago. I wasn’t impressed. If you want a place you can drink and smoke then it’s not bad. Decent import bottle selection when stocked. Watch the bartenders though they change the price of the drink if you aren’t paying attention.

well, my boyfriend’s family has a house out here and us and a few friends of ours decided to have a weekend out in Easton to get away from our craziness in NYC and just relax. Saturday rolls around and we pass by Drinkys, noticed there’s music, we decided that would be our spot. We arrive around 9:30pm and the dance floor isn’t open so we hang out in the bar area, which actually was pretty cool and they had a cool jukebox so we were able to pass the time by playing songs.
around 10:15pm they open the dance floor and every migrates in. It must have been THE LAMEST dance floor i’ve ever seen. No one was dancing, they were all standing around like they were too cool to dance, and if you were the only person dancing then everyone looked at you weird. Eventually, my group of friends started to just dance with ourselves because everyone was SO BORING just standing around. The worst part was some jersey shore reject looking guy started filming us dancing and said we were making fun of us for being the only ones on the dance floor and called us lame — yeah, we’re lame. that’s why he was there with his «bro» alone filming other people having a good time on his phone. This place was the absolute WORST! Worst Atmosphere, bartenders have attitude like they’re the ish (they’re not), and the place just looks like it’s sticky all the time. honestly the only good thing (hence the 2 stars) about it was the DJ that night, he was playing some AMAZING tunes and that beer was 2 $. So thanks Drinkys, you have become the inside joke of my circle of friends and will always be that terrible bar we tell others about.

To begin, this is a dive bar. If you don’t like loud music, smoke, cheap liquor and food, then Drinky’s isn’t for you.
But if you prefer a dive bar, it’s a cool little place to spend a Friday night with buddies or a date. The Long Islands are cheap and strong as someone mentioned earlier. I enjoyed it here!

During our most recent stop, my opinion of this location has started to decline. The last time we visited was in the afternoon and it wasn’t awful. Stop here in the evening, and it can easily be branded as a cheap, low class, college bar.
Crowded, loud, bad drinks, poor service, dark, and dirty. Police are regularly stationed outside this bar at night, which is far from flattering for a business’ reputation.
Depending on your age or what you are looking for, this place may have some appeal. However, I personally make it a habit to avoid the business.

Best place for a drink if you live in PA, NJ, CT or NY.
I’m going here this weekend and it will be my first visit here post-​remodel. It’s almost 2 hours away, but we come here every time we spend a weekend, a day or even 8 hours visiting our friend who lives in Easton.
I’m kinda surprised by the low stars and kinda not. I’m kinda not surprised because essentially, this place is a dive bar (Or was, remodel, remember?) and it’s not for everybody. But the pros totally outweigh the cons:
Cheap drinks.
Good food.
Dancefloor.
DJ.
The cheap drinks aren’t served in 8oz cups either… they’re pretty decent sized. The music is usually pretty good and this place always has events going on.
You definitely need to swing by if you’re in the area… in terms of an Easton nightlife, nothing compares. I’m surprised this place even exists.
The only OTHER problem I can say I have with this place is some of the… clientele.
Sometimes you feel like you’re in the middle of Pennsylvania instead of on the east side.
But I totally zone them out when I’m with my own group and enjoy their company instead.
I haven’t been here in a few months though and I can’t wait to check it out this weekend.

Collectively among my group of friends the bartenders have mischarged credit cards about 3 or 4 times now. Right when you think it’s safe to run out of cash here they go and do it again. Calling my bank because the establishment won’t fix it never gets old.
I’d give it 0 stars but the 1 star can be for the cheese fries, they are pretty amazing.

This is the worst place to go on downtown Easton. The bouncers and bartenders are extremely rude and believe they are making you favor by serving you. Poor customer service a waste of money and night. I left and went To the other bar nearby so much better.

I went there with one of my foreign friends, after the bouncer refused her international ID, she gave him her passport and as if that was not enough he asked to see her visa! Since when does a bouncer need to establish your immigration status before allowing you into a bar?! He was very rude too. This was none other than ethnic profiling! If they continue to do this, they wont get very far. in case they neglected to realize, easton is a college town and there are many international students who come to attend the college. If they want to be checking for visas, nobody is going to come!

If I could give this place no stars I would.
It’s sad that the only place really decent to go downtown is Pearly’s if there’s no band even though it’s so expensive, or Ocean which is just plain expensive. Drinky’s which is suppose to be a cheap alternative, is cheap and CHEAP all around in quality, interior, service, and overall decency.
They have what? one beer on tap or two which are Coors and Miller of course, or maybe it’s bud I can’t remember but just shit no one should be subjected to drink and the crowd in general that frequents this place is just awful. I’ve seen some disgusting things in this place, including a girl getting nailed in the bathroom. Classy.
To make it worse, they added these huge ugly «VIP» booth things that I’ve never seen anyone use and I heard are crazy expensive to reserve, and when I went the last time I was home my friend had to leave because his shirt didn’t have any sleeves?! Drinky’s, owners, bouncers, have you seen the trash that walks into this place?! you only make money of the people who dress like scum and you think it’s smart to enforce a dress code? just dumb. That’s like the Pig Pen having a dress code, and it does which is just as ridiculous if not hilarious.

we were only inside for a drink and it was empty… had a $ 3 LIT while the bartender feverishly text on her phone. i imagine this is a college place to go late night, with plenty of 20 somethings chugging drinks and doing the college bump n grind. i could be wrong but that would be my guess.

I’ve never been when it was super-​busy on the weekends, but it’s a chill place to hang out during the week. There’s three different bars in here, the largest of which has about six plasma HDTVs. They have three pool tables, two regulation, plus quoits and darts. There are food and drink specials every day. One of the best is Tuesday… all drafts for two bucks and $ 4 burgers however you want it.

was alot better when it was old drinkys and you could get a giant plate of wings and watch a football game while sitting in a leather couch.
