Bob Jenson Air Conditioning and Heating

Bob Jenson Air Conditioning and Heating installed a new HVAC system in my home. The install consisted of removing a 37 year old closet heater and placing the new HVAC system in my attic, all new duct work and insulation. The install team (Erik and Tony) were exceptional. They took great care of my home, were very courteous and also kept me informed of what was going to be accomplished on each day. Despite raining the entire week of the install, they completed a flawless install on time. Mike Daluz made the initial sales call and was very informative. No high pressure sales here, just information that allows you to make the easy decision to go with Bob Jenson A/​C and Heating. Highly recommended for all your home comfort needs.

Wish I could leave more than 5 stars! Our AC broke down in the middle of the recent heat wave, and a family member referred me to a technician from another AC company who would fix it as a side job. Over the course of 2 visits he inspected the system, added some R-​22, then flaked out and never showed up again or returned our calls.
Someone else referred us to AC company #2. Their tech did an inspection, welded a leak, added more R-​22, but the AC quit again after a day. Without any more inspection and based only on our telling him the AC was out again, he decided we needed a new compressor and would install it on his own time after arranging for us to purchase it directly from a supplier «at a great price». After a few days of being unable to get ahold of him to tell him we just wanted the AC fixed without any «sweetheart deals», we decided to move on and find another company.
After an internet search, we decided to try Bob Jenson AC & Heating. They had a very well-​designed website and I decided to check out their office before making an appointment. I spoke with Ellice, the service/​maintenace manager, who was very patient and understanding. After discussing my situation with her, I felt like I understood more about my AC system than I had learned from the 2 techs combined!
I scheduled an appt and their service technician Simon showed up on time and immediately gave me a sense of confidence that I was in good hands. He thoroughly tested our system (much more so than the other techs), and found that not only did we have too much pressure in the system (between the previous two techs, apparently too much R-​22 was added), our compressor was working and what we needed was a new capacitor (about a tenth of the cost of what a new compressor would have cost). Simon removed the excess R-​22, installed a new capacitor, and we again have a working air conditioner with cold air!
We have already scheduled a return visit for Simon to do a maintenance check on our furnace and plan to sign up for their Maintenance Program. A big thank you to Ellice and Simon, who were friendly, professional and efficient. Maybe it’s just «part of the job», but they made us happy customers who will keep coming back!

I’m going to change my review to 5 stars bc it’s official, our electric bill never hit more than $ 100! We have 2 story home that’s 1900 sq ft in la mesa! The mini-​split system along w our whole house fan was key!

We had our heater and AC units replaced along with all duct work. I obtained about 5 different quotes from different companies. It was a long and arduous process, but we couldn’t be happier with our choice with Bob Jenson! Cyrus was very knowledgeable and helpful in customizing the perfect system for us.
The techs were great, paid attention to detail and really cleaned up like true professionals. Cyrus even came back to do the 1^st maintenance visit after installation.
We highly recommend them for all of your HVAC needs!

We just had new AC and furnace installed 3 days ago. (Just in time for the long heat wave to end, haha!) The cost was reasonable (less than
Costco vendor.). Cyrus handled the original estimate and set up and was very professional and easy to work with. The office crew was also very friendly and professional when calling to set up the install date. The installers (Erik and Tony) knew what they were doing, were very respectful and efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and finished the job on time. The job was accomplished without any problems… how often does that happen? Well done, guys! I would highly recommend.

By far the best A/​C repair company I have ever dealt with. Laith came out to our house and figured out the problem in minutes. Honest, Professional and right to the point. Also a great price and had all the parts in his beautiful van ready to go. Wow… this is what I call PROFESSIONAL!!!
I did hire another company to come a few months ago and they miss diagnosed the problem, I guess the Russian guy in the Prius could not tell us what was wrong. Mind you that my 3 year old son probably had a better tool set than Mr. Prius. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Bob Jenson had a beautiful van with the most professional technician come out and took care of us. Within minutes the house was back to being nice and comfortable again. Very honest and not the pushy unprofessional type, this tech was right to the point and had a sense of confidence at what he does.

Recently had to buy a new air conditioner system. Unfortunately, it’s a two-​day installation, but I was told ahead of time. Erick and Tony work tirelessly… and did a great job. I appreciate the hard work and professionalism, and very polite. Erick let me know everything they were doing.

Recently moved to the area and hired Bob Jenson to come and perform a tune up on the central AC. Despite being the middle of a hot summer they were able to get me scheduled quickly. The technician that came was very professional and knowledgeable. I also subscribed to their annual maintenance plan going forward. I was very pleased with the service and look forward to doing business with them for years to come. Highly recommend!

Bob Jenson was the most honest and most thorough estimate of 3 that we received. I specifically didn’t tell any of the estimators what the others said and they came up with the best solution for the 2 issue we had. This was a new installation with old ducting that needed to be added to but had never been used.
Excellent job of installation (and I know it was a tough/​unique job). The guys were very polite and friendly and communicated with me when they were coming and going. They discussed with me where the floor vents should go and then checked back several times to make sure I was happy.
I have signed up with their annual maintenance and am pleased to read all the excellent reviews for that service also.

They have done work for me several times. they are always on time and know what they are doing. They get it done fast and for a reasonable price. I will use them over and over again.

Some years back Bob Jenson Air Conditioning and Heating installed a complete house heating and air conditioning system for me. It is wonderful. I also signed up for their yearly maintenance package. A technician comes once every six months, but if there is ever a problem, they will come out and take care of that. It’s a great service. Both the technicians I have had were excellent — Cyrus is especially personable. I have complete confidence in this company, and have been a client of theirs for approximately ten years. I trust their expertise completely, and I also enjoy the fact that the technician is always on time. The phone answerer at the office is both competent and friendly. All in all, this is an A+ business. I recommend them most highly!

We use Bob Jenson for our yearly service on our air conditioner and heater. They always call to tell us when technician is on the way and to follow up. Their office is so friendly. Our technicians are always Simon or Cyrus, and they are both so friendly and do a great job.

Recently had my attic insulated by Bob Jenson. They did a fantastic job. Everything went smoothly, quickly and they left everything clean and neat.
The technicians were friendly professionals. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I also use them for periodic maintenance on my heater and air conditioner. Technicians are always knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

They replaced the furnace/​air conditioner unit on the roof, as well as the ducts in the attic. They did a fantastic job: very professional and attentive to all the details. Everything was explained clearly and all of our questions answered. I would highly recommend them.

I bought my ‘whole house’ heating and A/​C system from Jenson’s over eleven years ago. They have maintained it all these years and I am extremely happy with their expertise, professionalism and courteous service. They are definitely a ‘five star’ company.
