We specialize in used tack but also carry new items as well. Saddles and tack for all types of horses. Carrying draft size, warmblood, Arabian, gaited, pony, and some mini size items. Grooming items, apparel, used cowboys boots as well as tall boots, more than 110 saddles at all times! Shampoo, fly spray, dewormers, first aid, so much to see. Western, English, Australian and Endurance tack too. More than 60 vintage and newer Breyer horses, unusual gift items, conchos, chaps, chinks. Dealer for Professional’s Choice, Textan, Weaver Leather, Reinsman, Troxel and Tipperary helmets, Champion Turf, Impact Gel.

History

Established in 2001.

Started out on 2^nd street in El Cajon to provide San Diego county horse owners with a selection of used and consignment saddles and tack. Moved to Broadway in 2004 to a larger location to provide both new and used tack for area horse owners. Now in an even larger location (next to the old one) and carrying even more lines of products.

I moved to El Cajon in 1999 in order to keep my horse at home. The following year I purchased another horse and was trying to find a used saddle for him, but was disappointed there were no tack stores in the area with a good selection of used tack. That started me thinking that we really needed a store in east county with consigned and used saddles and tack. In 2001 Tack N Up Saddlery was born.
