Our Roof repair is often completed faster than you might imagine. We may need one day to assess the damage and one or two to make the repair, but it’s not uncommon for Us to complete everything in a single day.

Our team of roofing professionals is highly trained in dealing with insurance claims caused by storms such as hail damage and wind damage. Our staff’s knowledge and understanding for the insurance process will help speed up your claim and greatly reduce your out of pocket expense.

We are also proud that our methods and operations for cleaning roofs are supported by shingle manufactures like Owens Corning, GAF, and many others. The Green chemicals we use are plant and pet friendly and remove the growing fungus from the roots to insure that future fungus growth does not occur for years to come.

History

Established in 2014.

Up & Above Roofing was established by Mr. Mario David Marroquin & Mr. Nir Hadari.

Both have been in the construction Industry over 20 years.

This is a new collaboration that started this year to meet all Roofing needs in the bay area California, with an excellent customer service and great attention to details.

They call themselves Up & Above but a more fitting name would be «Above and Beyond.» Through every step of my process Up & Above provided almost «hand holding» support — clearly explaining each step and helping me with everything from finding affordable financing options to selecting the best color shingles. And all of this during the wettest winter in years. I know I got good service at a good price and I have a roof that will protect my home and keep us dry for many years. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I was excited at first because they seemed professional with their itemized quotes and contract paperwork. However, I have become extremely frustrated as now they seem to be the typical poor planning contractor that will never call you back and will promise you a start date and then go missing when that time comes. I have called and left messages with the office and with the contractor, emailed, and text messages with no response. I am awaiting a call. This review is subject to change if this situation is made right.

Up & Above Roofing came highly recommended by the company that did our gutters. David the owner is very nice, he explained to us all we needed to know about getting a new roof. It helped us to make the right decision, with the right type of roof and the right color.
Up & Above Roofing also fixed different parts of the roof that were broken and rot and even fixed our old sky lights with shiny new ones. Job was done on schedule, very clean and professional. Roof looks great !! made the whole house look better ! now we feel ready for winter :)

During the last December rain in Berkeley area, my old roof just had too much water all at once, and the water slowly leaked to the living room. My friend recommended Up & Above Roofing, they are very professional and pleasant to deal with.
I have a new roof to be proud of within 2 weeks time. If there is any more roof problem, I will definitely give them a call.

I would like to award Up & Above roofing 5 start for an outstanding service and a great experience overall.
I own a property in Oakland California and was looking for a Local Roofing contractor in Oakland.
Eventually I came accross Up & Above by a referral form friends that used them recently.
I called in and got an estimate the following day and installation begins the following week.
Up & Above Roofing just completed our new roof and we were very pleased with the process, workmanship and the results. David kept us informed each day as to what was going to be done and he resolved concerns immediately.
My neighbors have been getting their roofs replaced from other contractors and the completed job doesn’t match the look and quality of the roof I have.
They were very professional, worked safely and cleaned up the work site each day. Work was completed on time, as promised, and best of all their pricing was one of the lowest of the four bids we received.

I definitely recommend this company for Any Roof Project you might have
We needed a new roof. I received three bids and Up & Above Roofing roofing’s quote was Same to another bid. I asked both contractors if that was the best they could do? Both contractors reduced their price equally, so what to do?
I went with the local contractor to support the Bay area economy and I boy am I glad I did.
First off, you get to work with David — the best project manager on the planet. He took allot of time to explain everything and endured all of my questions. Gave me all the samples I could ever want and was super responsive to my email questions.
My project was unique because I wanted concrete tile due to our proximity to the mountains and because our neighborhood is mostly (about 80%) concrete tile.
A great installation that Up & Above Roofing made looks to easy.
They had a good price, the crew was friendly (I regularly chatted with several of the guys), David called me everyday to give me the status of the job, the crew spoke English, they always cleaned up at the end of each day, they were always on time, they started and finished the job as promised, they never yelled around the jobsite, and they accommodated my constant questions and design «comments». They even replaced many of the roof’s rotten plywood and eves for no charge.
They are family-​owned and run, they are fair, they are prompt, they are honest … and they go beyond the extra mile with customer service from another era.

We bought our new home this year.
Its was a fixer upper AND NEEDED a new roof.
I called a few roofing companies to get prices, including Up & Above roofing That came highly recommended by our realtor — that we found here on Unilocal as well: Amir Hardy
Up & Above Roofing was so professional. They provided us the Bid the same day via email. David the estimator (and apparently a co– owner) took the time to explain all aspects of the scope that included:
Install of plywood to prevent the water from ponding, Install a base and mechanically fasten to the existing roof deck, Install a new Torch applied Modified Bitumen Granulated membrane over the glass base, Install all new roof metals and paint to match the new roof color.
Torch down roofing to the existing scuppers on the perimeter of the house and drain water into the existing downspouts.
Install new 3“x3″ gravel Stop on the perimeter of the parapette walls and seam together to the torch down product.
The project started the following week — as we really were hoping to move in the same month we purchased our new nest.
Everything went smoothly with the installation, and they finished it all a day before expected.
The team was as nice and professional as David was.
All debris was cleaned and hual away from the job site
