We needed a new furnace and AC were so happy we chose Ben of Benjamin Mechanical! We got 4 estimates and have to say that Ben just went above and beyond the call. He identified ways to make our home more efficient. We also needed to have our water pipes replaced and he was able to do this as well. Ben just seems to know how everything works in our home and really was wonderful at explaining what he was doing. He never tried to sell us anything that we didn’t need and felt that his prices were very fair. He was so pleasant and polite, we really enjoyed having him in our home. We ended up replacing both AC units (my husband’s idea) and adding an air cleaner to the old furnace. We are very happy with all of the work that Ben did. We asked him to come back for a small issue and he was at our home the next morning. He is easy to reach and again, just so great to work with. We will be calling him when our other furnace needs to be replaced. We highly recommend Benjamin Mechanical.

If I could give negative stars I would. Has left us out to dry with the situation in my house. Gave me an estimate on repairs and now going on 4 months without a reply. I have sent him over 20 phone calls, text messages and emails with zero response. Nothing. Not even something as far as I appreciate it but I cannot complete this task. Unless there are personal reasons I understand, but by no means should any business be down without communication. This is why I give one star and would give zero stars if I could.

Benjamin Mechanical was very professional and upfront. Benjamin was very knowledgeable and went right to the problem. Didn’t try to up sell like big companies do. He fit me in his schedule even though I called him at the last minute. Couldn’t ask for a better guy. What a great experience. Definitely referring Benjamin Mechanical to everyone I know.

We keep meaning to write a review for Benjamin. He really helped us out last summer when the blower motor in our SpacePak AC system blew. This happened right before the 4th of July. Benjamin came out to our house quickly, ordered the new motor immediately – so that he could pick it up before the holiday – and worked on two of the hottest days of the year… in the hottest room (and crawlspace) upstairs in our house… to fix the problem. He even worked part of the day on the 4th. (We had to send him home to rest and cool off too.) Benjamin fixed our issue in a few days and we were really grateful. He was super knowledgeable, straightforwarrd, reasonably priced, honest, and an incredibly hard worker. What more can you ask for in someone you contract with? We will be calling him again about upgrading our AC system this spring.

This guy is a lifesaver. After my [toolbag] landlord left me without heat at the end of November, Benjamin made room during a busy Saturday to come do an inspection [for a flat fee of $ 65]. He was quick, explained what needed to be fixed in my rooftop heating unit, and had the parts he needed ordered and installed by Monday.
His price was reasonable, and he was always friendly and straightforward. Even when my landlord insisted he hold off for a day, so his own guy could attempt to repair the unit [and couldn’t], Ben was totally understanding and flexible. I would call this guy again in a heartbeat.
