We needed to have our wood floors recoated and all furniture in those rooms moved to the garage or tiled areas. Day and Knight did a great job on both the front end moving furniture off the floors, and then back on the the floors nearly a week later. They were very professional and courteous, and worked efficiently. I would highly recommend them and I would use their services again.

Great guys. Very professional, very polite. I had them move my bedroom, office and living room up three flights of stairs. Yes I said up. It took them 3 ½ hours and they took zero breaks. Mind you this included a 6 foot long dresser, a CA King Temperpedic and a 6 by 6 foot bookshelf. Did I mention 3 flights of stairs?

These guys are absolutely fabulous. We had a number of extremely large pieces and several other items of furniture which needed to be moved out and then back in order for us to do our floors. Two young men came out and performed the work in an extremely professional manner. They were on time, pleasant, respectful, willing to position and repositioned the furniture exactly as you want it without complaint, and extremely hardworking. It is obvious that they want to ensure the customer is completely satisfied with their work. Customer service is truly their number one priority. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

We used Day & Knight moving back in November to move from Encinitas to La Costa. I found them as a licensed moving company on the CA Public Utilities Commission website because we had a nightmare happen with our movers the previous year. Blake & his employees were quick, friendly and professional. Despite our new place having 30 stairs down to move into, they ran up and down those stairs getting everything in as quickly as possible.
One of our lamps broke in the moving truck and instead of hiding it (like our previous movers did with broken pieces) Blake pointed it out to us and then took it home to fix it. He brought it back to use two days later, good as new. We very much appreciate the honesty and would highly recommend Day & Knight.

THE BEST. Hired this company to move a pickup truck of furniture from Carlsbad to N Hollywood, with a stop in Manhattan Beach to load an additional item. Mr. Deedz was extremely courteous and professional throughout the day, taking very good care of the furniture and also ensuring walls and floors were not damaged. The truck was professionally loaded and the furniture expertly tied-​down. There was a minor complication which involved removing a door so a king headboard could be moved. This extra work was done with a smile. Once we reached the final location, Mr. Deedz placed and reassembled both the bed and the sectional sofa — even though this service was not included in the VERY reasonable quoted price. I will never use another moving company. This one is as good as it gets! Thanks again Mr. Deedz!

blake deedz owner and 2 high school kids robert and kevin, very courteous but very inexperienced. i have bamboo flooring dragged heavy furniture which left deep gauges. home was already inspected by my realtor kurt kinsley and home inspection, i also have photos before and after. he yelled at me and stated my 8 lb. 3 legged poodle must of done this: OMG! his face was bright red screaming, very unprofessional. he came back next day and put wood putty in deep gauges; looks awful. realtor said not acceptable. do not hire this company, he just acquired company from bruce previous owner and he is the worst, very slow, also since it is 100.00 $ an hour he will milk it and even left to take a lunch break, only had bedroom and dining room. it took 4.5 hours$$$. this company now are movers from HELL, run fast away from them if you have anything of value. I will notify BBB.
