History

Established in 2010.

A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography c/​o 2008 and after coming back from teaching photography to kids in Nepal, I came back wanting to make a difference in my community using wedding photography. With every wedding booked with Irish Grzanich Photography 10% goes back to supporting a family in India. Your wedding will be apart of making their daughters dreams of education become a reality!

I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California in August of 2008. After Graduation I spent some time working in Hollywood with some of the top photographers in the Celebrity and Advertising industry. It was an amazing experience but the continuous long hours and busy lifestyle wasn’t for me – I knew there was something else for me out there. I started shooting weddings after some friends needed a photographer for their upcoming nuptials. I instantly fell in love with it and knew that it was what I was called to do. 0% of every job I shoot is donated to a family in India I have been supporting for a few years. Personally knowing them and seeing how each wedding has contributed to changing the lives of their young daughters.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Irish and her photography. She made what I thought would be the most nerve-​racking part of the wedding literally the most easy going and fun! Irish made it so easy to be photographed that my husband and I both felt at ease and like the camera wasn’t even there. It was so nice to get a photo teaser sent just a week after the wedding. The photos were so beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest! Thank you Irish for making the best day of our life the best day!

Irish is such a wonderful photographer! We found her on Groupon as she was advertising for a $ 70 deal for engagement photos! We jumped right on it! Our engagements pictures turned out beautiful and exactly what we wanted, that we had to book her for our wedding! Did I forget to mention she interned at Vanity Fair and was the wedding photographer for one of Kanye West’s friends? Her portfolio is superb, very vibrant, and filled with gorgeous shots! My husband and I tied the knot last Friday, 6÷19÷15, and Irish made our day an unforgettable one! Her and her boyfriend/​co-​photographer Cameron were amazing with our shots! They were both super nice, friendly, and got along so well with our entire wedding party! I recommend Irish’s photography to anyone, you will definitely be satisfied with her pictures! Irish shot our wedding in April and everything was perfection! Not only is she the sweetest person, she’s beyond talented! She arrived and took every photo we wanted and captured those special, once in a lifetime, moments as well. She has such an eye for detail. Irish recently took our family photos– and I can not rate her highly enough. She was flexible in scheduling, punctual, and professional. She was willing to get wet to capture the best shots as our family played in the ocean. She was patient with our grumpy toddler and over-​enthusiastic dog. Her rates are very reasonable, and come with many extras, delivered quickly– and she goes above and beyond to answer your requests. I was hoping for one beautiful family photo to frame– what I got were too many awesome pictures to frame them all, and that we will treasure forever. Both her black and white photos and colors are extraordinary, and used beautiful artistic angles.
We can’t wait to take more photos with her in the future!

We’ve used Irish for our engagement shoot, our wedding, and various family shoots.
Irish is an exceptional human being with an outstanding expertise and skill in photography. You will be hard pressed to find a shooter with her abilities with such fair pricing. Even her deliverables count is very high. Most wedding shooters deliver in the 250 – 400 range… but Irish did 1000 for us.
I manage a lot of digital media projects in my profession, so my eye is very critical when it comes to look and feel. Irish has always surpassed my expectations and she’s so wonderful to work with.
On my wedding, she really allowed us to forget she was even there, and she and her second shooter always knew how to get the right shot without being a distraction. She has a great lens package that allows her to shoot from any vantage point.
I would highly recommend you meet with her and give her website a serious review! You will not be disappointed.

I can’t say enough incredible things about Irish and her work! I was very nervous about looking for a wedding photographer because I wanted stunning pictures but didn’t want to pay ten thousand dollars! I found Irish through a wedding booklet of vendors, loved her work, and called her the next day. BEST DECISION EVER. Every part of working with Irish was a dream, from her sweet personality, to the stunning photographs of our wedding. She managed to capture every moment of our day without feeling as though she was on top of us during intimate moments. In fact, Irish could be a ninja! Her photographs are so beautiful that our wedding was feature on Style Me Pretty! Since working with Irish, my husband and I decided that we want her to photograph every milestone in our lives! Irish was unable to photograph our wedding but we did have the pleasure of her photographing our engagement. She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed that you don’t even know she is there, allowing her to catch raw and authentic moments. Irish’s photography demonstrates raw talent and skill that is clear when you see your photos. She is fun to work with and super flexible. We switched locations a couple different times during our shoot and when we ran out of daylight she was more than willing to meet with us again to get even more photos at no extra charge. I will definitely be using her again for family photos, maternity shoots and newborn shoots when that day comes!

We hired Irish for our very small intimate backyard wedding and I could not have been happier with our choice. Irish was relaxed, fun, easy going and personable. I never felt pressured. Irish really catered our package to our needs and budget. They were able to take great photos without ever being in our faces or «cheesy.» Our guests even came up to us to compliment us on what a great job they did taking photos without being invasive or pushy. My fiancé is not big into photos so he opted out of having photos of the grooms party getting ready Irish took that in stride and focused on capturing the moment with candid shots. THANK YOU!

Looking back at our wedding photographs, it’s clear we hit the jackpot in finding the perfect photographer!
