We are family owned & operated and have proudly served Escondido and surrounding areas for over 25 years.

History

Established in 1987.

All Makes Smog Center first opened it’s doors on Escondido Blvd in January 1987. My husband Doug and I (Carol) started this business with the help of my brother Bob who was our smog tech at that time. Soon after opening, Doug and I got our smog licenses and Bob moved on. We not only did smog inspections we also did all repair work and custom exhaust for approximately 16 years at that location. Then along came Test Only smogs. Losing a majority of your business because we were not a test only station we decided to become one thereby regaining all of our customers. We stayed one more year at that location and then moved to Washington Ave which turned out not to be such a good location. After 2 years, we moved to 5^th & Center City and there we stayed for the next 6 years.

Doug passed away in 2011, and my children and I have kept the business going. Then my lease expired. So, my kids and I moved to where we are located now on East Valley Parkway at the Valley Parkway Auto Service Mall.
