Chicken Plus Greek Cuisine

This is the most amazing chicken. Top quality ingredients in all their dishes. The salad is the freshest in town. I am not a gyro meat fan, theirs is delicious. The customer service is some of the best in town. All the girls are very friendly and efficient. The prices can not be beat. Each time I come back I try a different menu item. Glad to say I have a few more to sample. Have yet to get a meal I didn’t love. If you like Lamb Shank, you are in for a treat.

Love this place. It is my go-​to place to eat. They are fast and have health options to choose from. I usually pick from their chicken plates with sides. Perfect for a meal alone to having a meal with your family.

What do you expect from a restaurant when you go out to eat? I expect good customer service and great food with a reasonable price. Well i got all of that here, im leaving very satisfied.
Fyi the gyro meat melts in your mouth!

Chicken Plus has become our favorite new place for it’s low key atmosphere, cheap prices, and having the best gyros sandwich in Escondido. I’m nuts about their gyros salad (a classic Greek salad with gyros meat added).

My family and I have been coming here for years. Kind people, great food. We love the Gyros and greek salad! Always great service, fresh food, and very affordable.

Have seen this restaurant for 10 years, and we love gyros, but never on the right side of the street to pull in. Today was the lucky day! Ordered the gyros plate, which came with greek salad and dressing and rice pilaf. Did takeout, so had to smell that delicious aroma all the way home! Bottom line: the food was excellent! Gyros was perfectly seasoned, greek salad was fresh and the dressing great. As soon as we walked up to the restaurant, the staff and owner were friendly, smiling and welcomed us. Fast service, too. Definitely a keeper in my book, and can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu! Thank you Chicken Plus for making my day!

Their lemon chicken orzo soup is delicious! Even my kids love it! It’s a cute little place. Family owned. We go here pretty regularly. Haven’t been disappointed in any of the food. Their rice pilaf is delicious!

I came here with fellow Elite Unilocaler Oswaldo A., who I call master for now on, and got a Beef Gyro.
But before we ordered anything we were kindly greeted by some employees that Work there. We were then seated. I ordered my food and quickly received my meal in 5 – 7 mins. The Gyro was pretty good, and this is my first Gyro I ever tried. Well anyways the food, place and service is great! I know there’s more food that is good in this restaurant, like the chicken. I reccomend this place to anyone.

One of my favorite Greek eats. Salads very fresh. We like the chicken. Prices are reasonable. Sometime u jace to wait a bit long for the food. I guess cause it’s fresh. We keep coming back.

Worlds best onion rings. They make them fresh. I usually get the chicken greek salad, it is so good and fresh tasting. My husband gets the gyros sandwich, he says it’s the best he has ever had.

Best Gyros sandwich that I ever had! Meat is soooo tender and flavorful. Cucumber sauce is very good as well. The fries are made from real potatoes too! Definately made it in the rotation for me. Friendly service a plus.

Their whole chickens are delicious. I love the chicken salad sandwich on pita bread! And their breadsticks, rice, mashpotatoes, pretty much everything is so bomb it’s such a cute place to dine in or takeout to feed your family

You can’t beat the $ 17.00 dinner for two meal, I don’t think I could even buy all the supplies and make it at home for less! So good, so delicious and flavorful and what a bargain.

Unbelievable, my wife and l ordered the chicken for 2 with a med greek salad and we practically licked our plates. The cucumber dressing was very tasty and the tortillas were really good.

Very good! Food was good, I could have just whipped the same thing together at home though. We got a chicken dinner meal, maybe we should have just gotten something else.
Service was amazing though. We will come back for sure and try something else.

Great food and service. I had the lamb giro and it was delicious. I just wish the portions were bigger. It comes with a sweet and savory salad with feta cheese and balsamic dressing. Cost 10 bucks plus tip cause it is a sit down restaurant. Employees had smiles on their faces and a good attitude. Seating arrangements were pretty tight. All around great food.

They messed up my to go order because they were too busy TELLING me what I wanted instead of listening to my order!
Then when I take it back inside so they can fix it, the owner tries to give me 2 combo meals in stead of the 1 combo with 2 kabobs I want. How hard is it to get 1 combo meal with 2 kabobs on it???
Apparently the owner can’t even do a simple order correctly. He tried to charge me over $ 24 for it and got all frazzled when I questioned a $ 24 kabob combo plate. Nightmare for customers!
Do yourself a favor and font waste time stopping here to eat!
Last time I got to be witness to a advertising salesman haggling with the owner, and hear all the ’ not very nice’ things the owner had to say about the ad representative after he left. Owner is very rude and treated people poorly in my option.

Came here after a gym session but sadly didn’t come out with a six pack like «300». But the food here was pretty good. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
I had the half chicken that came with two sides and it was only under 8 bucks!!! But, They had to charge a little extra because I asked for Greek salad and pita bread… It’s a Greek restaurant!!!

But they offer American cuisine randomly. (Ribs, sandwiches, etc) all come back here again clearly for the awesome pricing they have on there food. I’m giving them a high 3 because I’ve yet to try they gyros. Maybe that might bump it up.

They get 2 stars because the service is so spot on. The nicest couple works behind the counter and they are very welcoming. What we ate does not deserve that rating, but maybe we went on a bad day?
I got the rotisserie chicken caesar salad with «homemade croutons» and dressing on the side. Every single piece of romaine lettuce was coated in a parmesan cheese (the stuff you buy in the plastic container to go on spaghetti) and pepper. So, so, so, so, so much pepper. I’m a fan of mildly spicy foods, but this was just way too much. It felt like I was eating pepper, not a salad. I’ve never experienced that before. I didn’t finish my salad and even my husband didn’t want to eat the rest of it, and he’s a human vacuum. The croutons are definitely just deep fried pieces of their breadsticks. If you’re into that, awesome! They ignored the dressing on the side.
My husbands chicken was good. The chicken on my salad was good. Not dry, enjoyable. Maybe I didn’t pick a dish that highlighted their expertise. Word to the wise, don’t get what I got and you may have an awesome meal!
