Established in 2009.

Campus Connection Property Management was formed by property owners for property owners. The company’s founders realized typical cookie-​cutter property management companies simply did not work to maximize rents, nor did they properly maintain the real estate investments entrusted to them. There had to be a better way of doing business.

I was never a tenant, but was a resident that live about half a block away from three very loud, and continuous «Party houses,» on Mill Street, b/​t 15th & 16th Ave. Not only did their tenants keep having super loud obnoxious gatherings and very loud music blaring for everyone on the block to hear, they would last into the late night hours and even into the next mornings. I also called the non-​emergency number multiple times on each different house to get help to STOP the very loud party noises. Campus connection isn’t apart of the RPP system (rental property program) in town, and should be? Especially if their tenants are being that loud and disruptive over and over again. I wasn’t ever able to enjoy the «quiet enjoyment» of my own place a half a block away every time any one of them had a house party. Just because there application and credit checks out, doesn’t mean their going to be respectful or good tenants?!! Because of the neighboring tenants disruption, and not stopping, or getting the noise under control, and landlords not knowing what was going on– I ended up having to move out instead! Argh.

I rented from Campus Connection during my first year in Eugene. My roommates and I were leasing a house that ended up having A LOT of problems. Originally, Charlie was very helpful with all of the necessary repairs and was always on time. But as more and more things went wrong with the house, her attitude became more and more sour towards us. Granted, it was a lot to deal with, but it wasn’t our fault. She would talk down to us and assume we didn’t know what we were doing because we were young renters. And considering the houses she rents out aren’t cheap, we thought we would get a better feeling of customer service from her. Turns out, our house had had an extensive remodel some years before and had never been inspected, making it illegal for anyone to live there. The roof ended up leaking and filling my roommates wall with black mold, landing her with pneumonia in the health center. Our dishwasher flooded our kitchen, and upon inspection, the repairman told us it had been broken way before we moved in. When our power continually went out through the year, a repairman told us that the circuit breaker was way past its expiration date and should have been replaced years ago. Bottom line, Charlie does her best to accommodate her renters, but we couldn’t believe we had been rented a house that wasn’t inspected and was falling apart at the seams. Most disappointing of all, Charlie blamed almost every problem on us, only to be told by her repairman that the problem was the poor maintenance of the house. I would be cautious when renting an older Eugene house from Campus Connections.

In eugene it’s really hard to find a property management company that won’t try everything they can to screw you. After experiencing countless nightmare situations with so many different property management companies, both my roommate and I agree that Campus Connections is the best.
When we rented with them, we lived in a historic home that had nothing but floor heaters and one wall heater unit in the bathroom. Once winter came, we told Campus Connections that it was too cold in the house and the heating wasn’t adequate. Shortly thereafter they sent someone to check the house out and within a week they installed a brand new wall heater unit in the living room. They also did their best to assist with a nightmare neighbor situation.
Plus– THEY LET YOU PAINT. They are also really reasonable about pet deposits.
We worked very hard to make sure the house was clean and in good condition upon move-​out but were still scared we wouldn’t get much of our deposit back due to a negative experience we had with our last rental under the management of another company. But we got about 90% all of it back! They are awesome and Charlie is awesome.

We don’t rent from Campus Connection yet, but we hope to. My husband and I are in the process of searching for a rental that can accommodate multiple pets from out of town, which is a nearly impossible task. All other local management companies have been rude and unhelpful, but Campus Connection agreed to meet our pets and try to work something out. They have been a beacon of light in a sea of endless «no.» Thank you for not immediately slamming the door on us and our pets!

Campus Connection has provided my roommates and I with a great living experience here in Eugene. Charlie and the rest of the group have been exponentially kind and helpful. Repair requests are always completed quickly, they are very accessible and easy to communicate with, the yard is kept in great condition, and the staff is incredibly personable. Speaking from a college student’s perspective, they do not discriminate against younger renters like previous property management companies did to my roommates and I. There is always candy in the office and cookies provided if you turn rent in on the 1st. Free pizza raffles too! Charlie and the staff are incredibly sweet and we will miss having them once we graduate!

If you are looking for property to rent in Eugene, I would go through Campus Connection. This has been one of the best rental experiences I have had in any city. Charlie is an incredible property manager and does an amazing job of responding to any problems you might ever have throughout your lease term. I have never leased from anyone with such quick and reliable response time. I would also say for people who own property that she takes very good care of the properties in responding in this manner. Her office has a friendly staff, unlike some other property management offices in town. You cannot go wrong with Campus Connection.

Best property management company in Eugene by far! Charlie is the best and a joy to work with. Whenever we’ve had an issue in the house they are always quick to respond. They also don’t charge tenants for small repairs which is awesome. Plus, they do giveaways for giftcards if you turn in your rent on the 1st or 2nd of the month! Really great people, and the best candy selection I’ve been in an office!
