«Termites! Are you kidding? Those winged demons of destruction can’t be eating our house!»
And so the journey began to find the termite exterminator, extractor, protector an destroyer who was also cost effective, friendly and responsive.
My wife was good enough to walk the 4 or 5 different companies through our house. Each company had a different solution to eradicate the bugs from our house. The treatments ranged from the extremely invasive to dropping bait stations in the yard.
After parading the huge national companies through the house, we realized that not only were they very costly, but they did not give us the warm and fuzzy of being a highly valued customer.
When All Seasons came through, their solution was comparable in coverage and thoroughness to the national companies. They proposed to use the same materials, processes and tools, and offered a very similar warranty. Plus, the owner invested a lot of time with me answering the long list of questions that I had, ranging from «why me?, to «will this hurt the pets?,» to «what if xyz happens in 5 years?.»
His answers were very much the same as some of the other companies, but it was clear to me that his position was not based upon a commission check or some other corporate metric. I got the feeling that All Seasons takes pride in what they do and the satisfaction of their customers. I think they know the power of word of mouth advertising.
After all was said and done, we awarded the contract to All Seasons.
On the day of the job, the owner and his crew came out and commenced to work. I wasn’t there that day, but when my wife told me that the owner was swinging a pick, and digging trenches along side his crew, I knew we made a good choice.
During the job, the All Seasons team invested time to explain to my wife what they were doing, and showed he where they found termites.
A few days after the job, I noticed what I thought was a broken sprinkler head. I thought that it could have been broken during the trenching. I called All Seasons. He apologized and had the head running again within a couple hours of our phone call. And, the sprinkler was just unscrewed, not broken.
They were clean, thorough, professional and cost effective. I couldn’t be happier! Heaven forbid that we ever have visitors from underground again! But, if we do, I will call All Seasons and recommend them to anyone who asks.
