DFW Bug

David came out the next day after our call concerning ants in our home. He checked all around the house and treated for ants, explaining everything as he worked. He said our problem was not bad at all and gave us suggestions for how to address the problem ourselves if the ants returned. He also checked another situation at no charge. I would call him again and highly recommend him.

Hired company to do a one time spray with a groupon specifically to get rid of acrobat ants and wasps with plans to hire for additional exclusion work and possible yearly contract but after having David come out and spray I still had some wasps around and the ants were everywhere. Waited the two weeks the company paperwork says it can take for pests to die after treatment then called David to give him a chance to fix the problem only for him to refuse to stand by the service saying flying insects are never covered and ants can be tricky and come back the day after I’ve sprayed or any other day so unless you sign my contract the guarantee for them doesn’t apply and you must have year round coverage to have me keep coming back until the problem is under control otherwise not my problem. So basically I paid for nothing because his service didn’t work and he refused to stand by his work and do anything about it. The fact that I still had pests the day after the treatment and everyday since means he did a terrible job because the service should do something right? Apparently he don’t think so. The guarantee doesn’t apply to first time service which is twice the normal price and fire ant treatments aren’t included in the service at all. This is not the first pest company I’ve hired (tried a different one last year that was very expensive) and he does things a little differently than the rest by charging you a flat rate every month to your credit card on file even though he only comes out and sprays every other month instead of just charging a per treatment price. He also won’t bother to spray inside the house after the first time unless you have a problem you can prove (he won’t take your word for it) and specifically request the additional service. Turns out David is only after monthly contract customers. He doesn’t care about doing a good job; just getting your money each month even when he doesn’t do anything. It is a very low pressure sales pitch for the contact however BE WARNED he does expect you to sign up right away and if you don’t because you want to see how well the service works first he will become very disrespectful and try to force your hand by leaving you no other option than to sign or live with bugs. To this I say only hire him if you want to deal with a rude guy who’s just after a piece of your paycheck every month and who really doesn’t care about job performance. The whole experience was nothing but a waste of time and money with a heap of added frustration and no visible change to the bug population. Definitely do NOT recommend!
