I love stores like this — offbeat ornaments, artwork, heavily embroidered cut velvet shawls, and those antique-looking iron balance toys that rock back and forth. I’ve bought gifts for my mom and grandma here multiple times, and the woman who owns it is very helpful and remembers other things you’ve bought in the store. My favorite acquisition, I think, was a giant painted Jack-O-Lantern face that my parents bought for Grandma; just a large round piece of masonite, but the face was really expressive. A very good place to get interesting and original gifts, and even occasionally a decorative piece of furniture.
