Reminscin’ In Paradise evolved from my passion to document memorable events not only in my life but also with the lives of friends. When one looks at a picture that has just been taken the reaction is just «oh, neat»; however, if you look at that same picture years from now, the reaction is typically «Wow!, is that what we looked like back then?!» The meaning and value of pictures increase over time… and when these pictures are taken in Hawaii, you will be… reminiscin’ in paradise.

Influenced by a fellow college student’s passion for photography, I realized that photography can become a form of expression. The «tools of the trade» adds to the aura of this «hobby gone out of control.» It still remains very enjoyable as the day I started back in the 80’s.
