A Better Cleaning Solution

I had an appointment scheduled for 9 am this morning which was confirmed via text message. At 9:40 I called to see where she was. She claimed she couldn’t reach me the day before due to my voicemail not working and her inability to find my address in GPS. She misspelled my street name and didn’t bother to text or call. She stated she could come om friday as she has already taken another appointment this morning. Unreliable and unwilling to admit her miscommunication and overall lack of professionalism.

A sad outcome indeed. We chose Alicia and her team to clean our five bedroom home. The first time they came out was amazing. Everything was clean, the house smelled fantastic, and the few things there was not time for got marked down to the done the next time they came out. At that point I would have rated them at least four stars if not five. Fast forward to the following month. We called Alicia to have her come back out. She had to bump out our appointment as she said she had to fire her crew as they were not up to her standards. When she did come out she said her third worker didn’t show up so it was just she and her sister who would be cleaning. They were there for about three hours. The house was surface clean before they got there, it just needed a deep clean. When they left I could not even tell the house had been cleaned. There was still food smudges on the light switches from the kids. There was still food on the kitchen floor. It was very disappointing. Alicia’s reaction was even more disappointing and what led to the one star review. When the issues that were found were brought to her attention she said they would make sure to clean those items next time they came. When I advised her that she needed to come out and complete the job she never responded. That was over a week ago so I am leaving a review in the hopes that I can save someone else the headache and money.
