Chicken was rubbery, fried rice has no vegetable or egg, it’s just yellow rice that tastes stale. Will stick to pizza for delivery when staying at this hotel.

This has been our go to Chinese restaurant for take out for almost 8 years. Great portions of food for a great price. Plenty of food for the night and for leftovers the next day. Seasoned perfectly and always willing to make mine extra spicy for me. We have have tried black and pepper chicken, hunan chicken, general tsos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, soup, crab Rangoon and eggrolls. All have been very good. In addition it is great when in a hurray. Can call ahead and good is ready when you get there or stop by and order and food is prepared quickly.

Good regular run of the mill Chinese takeout. Not fantastic but definitely good enough to satisfy your craving! We used to enjoy this off and on for something fast but the last two times we ordered they got our order wrong and we didn’t realize this until we were home. Very disappointing!!!

Food is decent and priced right! But don’t order the Gen Tso chicken. It’s in a super thick sweet hoisen type sauce with no veggies at all. Yuck!

Absolutely terrible. I got the garlic eggplant and veggie egg roll. The egg rolls we’re burnt and lacking flavor but edible. The eggplant however was just mush and completely disgusting. The garlic sauce on it was so thick and gummy it could be picked up with a fork.

When we called to place the order they answered the phone saying they are too busy and delivery would be an hour and a half. Their food had no taste and was not presentable. Very disappointed, will not order again.

This was typical takeout. Nothing great, nothing bad. Price was right for portions. Service was quick. I had the pork lomein and pork egg rolls. Decent taste. I’d come back if in the area.

I know many people don’t like this place. I like the food here but don’t like to sit and eat there. Service is slow. Good thing is if you are within 5 mile radius they deliver.

Things have changed a little bit since I was there last. The place might have new owners, but I’m not certain. There’s a double inner/outer door at the entrance to keep out the cold breeze in the winter. Standard back-lit pictures of menu items are above the counter, and they use the standard red/green menu. Most of these walk-up-and-order places must get those pictures and their menus at the same place. Order/pay at the counter and they bring the food out to you. My dine-in meal was served on a hard-plastic reusable plate, not styrofoam, with stainless steel utensils. That was a nice touch since you normally get styrofoam and plastic at these types of places. My Moo Goo Gai Pan had a unique flavor ingredient that I couldn’t identify, but it was good. Fresh mushrooms(not canned). Fried rice was good. Chicken egg roll was good. Self-serve soda fountain was out of order, so beverages come in cans or plastic bottles. Men’s room was clean, but had a sloppy paint job. The dining area has some minimal decorations making it look nicer than what you normally see in lesser neighborhoods. Cashier was fluent in English, other staff is not quite as fluent, but sufficient. They deliver. This restaurant is in Fishers/Hamilton County, so I’m not being quite as generous with my stars. I’d give it 4 stars if it were in a lesser neighborhood.) (300th review.)

Meh is right. I went here with a group of 5⁄6 people and we were all pretty disappointed. First, the service is slow and took us to our patience threshold. Second, the food is poor. The fried rice was barely edible and each person decided they couldn’t stand to finish eating their food. I would say go somewhere else. The only reason it gets 2 stars is for the price(which is as cheap as it gets).

Ah yes… boot leg Chinese food, how I have missed you. The wife and I were craving Chinese food like it was nobody’s business. Not really wanting to go very far, we looked in our immediate area. There were two choices– Golden Wok and King Chef. We went to King Chef, but realized it was a much nicer place than we thought(and we were not wearing the most suitable of attire), so by default we ended up at Golden Wok. AMBIENCE– we didn’t end up dining in, but this is a order and sit down kind of joint. The décor was minimal, and you really did get that hole in the wall feeling to it. Definitely more of a «casual» dining exp, the place seemed clean for themost part. SERVICE– they have one person handling orders/answering the phone, and one person in back cooking. Not the fastest place, it took about 15 minutes for them to fill our order. At least we knew the food wasn’t sitting around for a couple of hours. MENU– typical Americanized Chinese food. They had lunch combos(which we had missed because we were grabbing dinner), entrees, and dinner combos. Dinner combos are about $ 1 – 2 more than the lunch combos. Each combo comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. FOOD– So why did I call this place bootleg– they had yellow fried rice, which in my exp. has usually been the sign of lower quality Chinese food. However, since that was pretty much what the wife and I were expecting, we werent’ all that disappointed. The wife got General Tso’s chicken, and I got curried beef. Neither dish was amazing by any means, but it satiated our craving enough. And for the amount you get, and the money you spend, yeah, it ain’t so bad. OVERALL– Not a place you need to go out of your way to check out. If you’re in the area, and need quick, cheap, Chinese, this place will suffice. Celebrity Rating– Ralph Machio
