Mango Mango

Not surprisingly, if you’ve got a mango craving, you’ve got to come here to get your fix. The desserts all range from $ 5 – 7, which I think reasonable. Each one is honestly a very faint tweak on the other, so there’s not TOO much variety to speak of, but it is enough to keep you busy. Gf had the classic mango with sago while I had the green tea ice cream with jelly and red bean. Both were solid and were perfect for a hot Summer Sunday. We come back fairly regularly and are always sad that the one in Chinatown isn’t as good as the one here.

The crêpe was so fluffy and delicious, and I loved the original with just mango and those rice cakes in it. To die for. And I love how they have that picture printing machine for free, just ask how to use it, I believe you have to download we chat. The only reason I give them 3 stars instead of 4 is everything is on the pricier side, but I mean what can you say about new york city prices.

I liked this place but it is a little over priced
I ordered A.11, which was the Snow White juice w/​Red Bean and glutinous rice ball. From the pictures and the price you wouldn’t expect to receive a portion size similar to the diameter of your palm. My order didn’t contain any fresh fruits so I was really questioning the price.
Most dessert orders at Mango Mango are quite small.
I did like A11. It wasn’t overwhelming with sweetness, it was just right.
The interior is really pretty. It would be a great place to meet up with friends over dessert. if you want to try something new, Mango Mango would be a good place to go to. I would avoid ordering ice cream (like my boyfriend did) because that would be a complete waste.
I would come back again, but not as often as I would if the prices were lower.

Mango Mango is a fruit fly breeding ground. Flying around, in your food, they’re everywhere. When I got my dessert with a still-​live fruit fly sitting on top of a piece of fruit, I flagged down the waitress and informed her. She attempted to tell me it was a strawberry seed or something, but I stopped her before she even got it out and asked her to look more closely. When she saw what I saw, she took it back and brought me a new dessert.
Insects-​in-​the-​food aside, the desserts were pretty delicious. Items that you’d imagine to be tooth-​achingly sweet were actually quite delicious. My friends and I shared several items; all were good except for the mango crêpe cake, which was mushy and had a bizarre old-​whipped-​cream flavor I can’t really describe.
Overall, I like the concept of Mango Mango, and can see myself coming back once they’ve resolved their fruit fly issue.

I decided to give this place a try because of all the pictures I saw on social media. This is a small and cute dessert shop located in downtown Flushing. All the seats are arranged tightly together, which means by the end of your visit, you will feel very close to all the other patrons in the shop (whether you like it or not). I tried the crêpe layer cake, and I was not impressed at all. The coconut ice cream was quite good though. Overall just a mediocre experience. I probably won’t be coming back here for a while.

This is a chained desert place, have shops in flushing and nyc. It taste very similar to a famous desert shop from Hong Kong, not sure if they are related
Personally I always like the mango juice more than coconut juice, and always order the one with sticky rice.

Came here once with friends after dinner and ordered two deserts which were quite similar to what I had in Hong Kong at 许留山。took my daughter here again and ordered the black rice putting with ice cream, she didn’t like it at all. The black rice is supposed to be sticky with aroma but it’s not and the ice cream melt down too fast. She is very disappointed.
The setting of the place, on the other hand is very nice but the wait time is always be long cause the young folks in flushing like to hang out here.

The original mango mango place, after I have been to their Chinatown location a couple of days back. This one was definitely much larger in space, and seemed to me had more extensive items carried on their menu.
While my friends were getting mango desserts, I opted for the watermelon slush, as I was not in a mood for sweet things. My slush was not too sweet, and carried a right amount of ice. Pretty comparable in terms of food quality.

They make a lot of desserts with mangoes (I think you can tell from the name of the place). But honestly, it’s not all that special. The presentation of the dessert when given to you is an on and off thing. It can look ok sometimes and other times it might look like they’re in a rush (even when no one is in the store). I personally love mangoes so any dessert with it would be considered good. But once again, here you can never tell what you’ll get. Just cross your fingers, give it a try and hope for a lucky day.

Such a CUTE place for fresh dessert! Loved the décor, the fact they had free wifi, and that staff was very friendly. If you love fruit based desserts and mangos/​tropical fruits in general, definitely check this place out.

So much mango deliciousness. There’s another Mango Mango that I had been to in Chinatown — this is much bigger and a better place to sit around for an hour or so while you eat your desserts slowly. The desserts are pegged to the price of mangos and depending on what season you go, your mangos will obviously be sweeter or more sour.
The average price of a dessert is $ 5 – 7, which is decent price for a mango based dessert.

I love Mango Mango, well the one in chinatown that is. Ordered the sago and mango dessert and both were frozen. The sago had a frosty center and the mango was hard. Ingredients weren’t consistent because the snow white drink didn’t have this issue. I couldn’t bring this up to them because I took this to go.

They offer a variety of Asian style desserts, usually with sago (tapioca pearls), red bean, jelly, ice cream and fruits with special emphasis on mangoes of course. The pictures on the menu look better than the actual presentation, which is sloppier and looks a lot smaller in the take away container. They’re tasty but just wish that they would serve what they actually market.
Service needs improvement. My friend tried asking for just green tea ice cream with chocolate syrup. Even though they have all the ingredients, they wouldn’t honor her request. Instead, the server remarked that she could just buy the ice cream at a supermarket. That’s not good customer service and just goes to show that they want you order all the extra toppings so they can mark it up to 6,7 dollars, which is the average price of their desserts. What a shame.

Came here for dessert with a friend. The inside is not that big, but we didn’t have to wait for a table (probably because cold desserts are less popular in the winter).
The menu reminded me of Cantonese dessert dishes, with various fruit desserts as well as things like crepes.
The desserts are also a bit pricey at $ 6+, albeit very tasty. I enjoyed my mango dessert with grapefruit and grass jelly.
Interior bright and modern; service attentive and bilingual.

Near busy downtown Flushing, this is one of my favorite places when I need a quick late night fix. (The other is Snowdays Shavery down the street :) I ordered the mango sundae as I was craving ice cream. It came all cute with whipped cream and mango sauce over the top. Would love to order some of their other items with sago, snow white juice, and rice balls!
No problems with the service, waiters were polite and professional. I liked the chill pop music playing the background as I chatted with my friend. Great place for an after dinner dessert with a friend or a date. And it’s less then $ 10!
There is also a picture machine where you can send a pic wirelessly to the machine and it prints it out for you. Didn’t have a chance to try it this time, but will go back and update this review!

This location used to be a hair salon. No wonder it’s so cute!
When you walk in, assuming it’s not packed, you should grab the booths if you like to people watch.
Avoid the durian! Unless you love it… But try the mango pancake, mango Mille crêpe cake, and the mango sundae! The sundae is amazing and full of flavor! No fact, don’t bother with the crêpe cake and pancake. The sundae is divine!!! The green tea ice cream here isn’t bad either.

Be prepared to scare all the ladies and gents away.
Because if you’re coming to Mango Mango, you ain’t eating no damn mangoes. You’re coming here for the durian dessert.
I only know it as A11. It has frozen durian, ice cream and black glutinous rice.
Trust me… get it. It’s worth scaring all the other people away.

Came here at least twice with my boyfriend and we always make the same mistake of ordering 1 dessert each. They have a credit card minimum of $ 15 and we fall short every time. We dig through our wallets, pockets, and jackets hoping we don’t give the staff a difficult time (they’re really the sweetest servers you’ll find in Flushing). Next time, we’ll remember to bring cash or just order an extra dessert: D Their desserts are the best, light on the palette and stomach. Their creations mostly center around mango and ice cream, possibly the best two ingredients to any dessert dish!
Note: they do run out of mango ice cream towards the evenings and will offer vanilla ice cream as a substitute.

First-​time visit today. The room was warm and the hostess was nice enough to bring a cup of water immediately.
I wanted to try a variety of desserts as to testify its «authenticity»…surely there can be no such thing as I had too many Asian fusion experiences before, but I wish this place to be more authentic like hongkongnese desserts. They didn’t disappoint me anyway.
My orders:
Snow White w/​grass jelly and ice cream (雪山双宝)：In reality it had two scoops of ice creams, 1 vanilla and 1 matcha green tea, accompanied by coconut icy «snow white» and jellies. The coconut ice tasted really authentic — very coconutty and sweet. In comparison the ice cream were like Asian style, not too sweet and perfected the taste in combine. I would give it ⁹⁄₁₀.
Mango pancake (芒果班戟): This is a signature of almost every HK-​style dessert shop. I personally didn’t like durian so opted for this. It’s a ⁸⁄₁₀. The mangoes were ripe and tasty, and the whipped cream was creamy enough, but not too sweet. Nothing wrong with it.
Green tea slushie w/​red bean and black rice (绿茶冰红豆黑米爽): My favorite among the three. Again not too sweet or artificial taste… the green tea flavor tasted like they used real matcha powder. They also did not skimp on black glutinous rice or red beans. It was literally more fulfilling than a drink considering all the solid contents.
In total, would give this place a 4.5÷5. If it were a warm day I would like to order a sundae or shaved ice stuff instead… anyway, will visit again whenever I come by Flushing.

This place is so cute ! I loved it.
The seats are so comfy and the the café is so spacious. The staff are very friendly.
I originally came in here for the Green Tea Ice cream, because I have never had it before. However they were sold out of that. Boo, thats okay, I will surely be back.
I opted to get the coconute ice cream. My friend got a layered crêpe mango cake. Its was delicious.
The best dessert I have ever tasted was the Mango Pancake ! It doesn’t look like a pancake, but lawdd it tasted like one and so much more. It was perfectly made. I can’t even find the words to describe it. You just have to try it yourself.
The check comes in a pencil case which I thought was very creative.
I would recommend. I cannot wait to come back !
