Boston Market

I used to go to boston market as a really small child. Like ages 3 – 6 and to be honest ive never forgotten about their mac n cheese or corn. I swear thats all i’ve ever gotten. Ever since i moved from Daly City (where boston market was close by) i never went, theres no convenient location near me :(BUT i was in the area and noticed they had one and my mom and i decided to go. I still love the mac n cheese. Im not a fan of like legs and thighs of chicken, i prefer the breast so i went with the new like oven fried chicken breast? something like that. It was kind of
dry to be honest. I recommend this sweet potato thing that they have, its kind of like a desert. It tastes like cinnamon and i think its delicious. I like that they have so many options for your sides. If i could get all of them i would. Yum. i love comfort food

I went here with Debra R and Jose R for lunch. I got the dark meat chicken with the sweet potatoes, corn and a brownie. Debra R got the dark meat chicken with spinach and another vegetable and Jose R got the half chicken with rice and sweet potatoes. The food was really good and the service is friendly.

I had the meatloaf, mashed and macaroni and cheese. A 10 $ lunch no drink, small portion but filling. Food was average flavor but not bad. 5 star since no complaints, friendly people and clean.

Ordered and paid online to avoid rush. Stood in line waiting at the pick up counter, where there is a sign that says online order pick up. The manager Frank ignored us repeatedly, probably bc he was too busy arguing with a customer over what she ordered. What happened to customer service.
All of the staff repeatedly looked at is, but all didn’t even say hello or someone will be with you soon. To make matters worse the food wasn’t even ready yet. Frank did offer to make it immediately. At this point we just wanted to leave. The young lady (wearing 18^th birthday button) tried to say that despite the sign saying pick up online order here, we were supposed to know that we had to go to the register and wait in line. Why does the sign say, «Save time order online, pick up here (with an arrow)»??? Why?! This is terrible customer service & not clear at all.
In the end we were given a cash refund (I was confused bc I had paid with my card online), but he did give me a business card saying I was due 2 free individual entrees. I did take it, but after this horrendous experience I’m not sure I want to use it.

The chicken taste is so good! It is like home cook.
You should give it a try ;)

This place is filthy! Looks disgusting and the high chairs are repulsive. I refused to put my 1 year old inside. It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. When I went to suggest that they clean them (very nicely) the manager looked at me like I was crazy and was very rude and never apologized. See the picture I posted.

This restaurant is disgusting. We walked in and almost all the tables were covered in old plates, which we looked over because they did seem a little busy. After we ordered they didn’t have any lids and the containers that would hold them were very dirty. After ordering and getting our drinks I went to wash my hands and if the bathroom was any indication of the cleanliness of the kitchen we should have immediately left. We did eat the food we ordered and it tasted fine. But I won’t return.

The manager Alma here at this location was not helpful at all. She was rude and very short with her answers. As customers we should be helped and taken care of from management when there is any issues. Alma on the otherhajd was trying to make us pay way over what we were going to get. I felt like she was trying to rob us. You should always help your customers. I hope corporate and the owner takes a look at their management at this location. She should definitely be looked at. Becuase of her attitude and lack of help, they may have lost my business forever. It gives a bad taste in my mouth. I doubt ill be returning to boston market at all.

Dirty af restaurant… only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because the food was good. I will not be coming to this location again. It was my 1^st time and now my last.

I called an order in for pick up on my lunch break. It was ready as soon as I got there, about ten minutes. But when I called, the girl on the phone spoke so fast when she picked up, I couldn’t understand her. I said «I’m sorry?» and asked her to repeat, and she became very short with her answers.
Once I got there, I was greeted in a very monotone way. No cheer in their voice, no eye contact, and no smile. She took my payment, handed me my card and said «have a nice day.»
Not sure if I’ll come back again.

What a lot of food! Looking for something besides KFC for chicken? Here you go! You come here for a meal, not a #1 with fries. A little more pricey than McD’s, but you get what you pay for. Service is what you’d expect from this type of restaurant.

The staff is always so nice, welcoming and helpful. Every time I come in, everyone has a smile on their face even though it’s 10 min to closing. thanks for the amazing service! I’m a pretty hard critic of service and food and for a semi fast food joint, this place is awesome! Thankfully this place is close to home. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I was headed home and had this craving for some Boston Market Meatloaf so I Unilocaled the closest location which was 15 minutes out of my way, but decided to ef it and decided it was worth the drive.
Upon entering the establishment the first thing I noticed was the side door was broken and closed very hard. The floors in the dining area were wet as if someone spilled something and just placed a wet floor sign by it.
I approached the counter and was immediately greeted by a gal working behind the counter. I ordered the large meatloaf with corn and Mac N Cheese and a large drink. I had an expired coupon and they were willing to allow me to use it.
I got my drink and found a table and went to the restroom. The restroom was not kept up and had water all over the floor.
They brought my food to the table and the presentation was great temperature was good and that was fantastic.
Overall the visit was good the dining room could have been a little cleaner but I would definitely visit this location again.

It was a bit on the salty side. I would say it’s good but not incredible.
Dark Rotisserie Chicken meal $ 7.49: Came with 3 dark meat pieces and your choice of 2 sides. My chicken was not hot and it was a bit on the salty side. I did like the skin though, mmm flavorful. Gravy, on the other hand, lacked flavor and it was too watery? The Mac and Cheese was good at first but after a while, it was too salty. I loved the mashed potato though!
Service: Friendly and quick. They really knew their stuff

Picked up food to go and when we got home it was not too hot. I guess that’s to be expected. Chicken was 2 stars and the sides average 3 Stars.

Overall, I’d have to say 2 stars for the chicken and 3 stars for the sides. I used to like Boston Markets a lot. Honestly, I think picking up a rotisserie chicken at Von’s is a better idea and cheaper.

This place came to dinner sometimes on weekends, and this last time was unpleasant surprise, we arrived about 7:30 pm and the place was the worst every table there was a mess, nobody comes to clean, and the cook preparing chicken, bbq, sandwiches, salads, sides, etc. the worst with a bad attitude to serve, I order a sandwich was horrible and my parents ordered chicken was cold, for various reasons I do not recommend this place and avoid mess up the photos that were in the tables and on the floor, What a shame!

So good! I love the green beans and mac & cheese sides. We shared a half chicken entrée and added two extra sides. Was enough to fill both of us! We enjoy the family feel of the restaurant and how the food did not make us feel bloated and heavy after. We spent $ 11…for what we paid this was great!

I went here to grab something quick and easy for dinner on my way back from the gym. This is my second time coming here and I must say, their rotisserie chicken carved right in front of you with your choice of parts/​halves just resonates the old fashioned homey chicken dinner with a choice of two sides which are all made daily. I would get the steamed vegetables as well as the red bliss potatoes or their sweet potatoes is so delicious just melts in your mouth! You will also get a side of freshly baked cornbread with your meal.
To top it all off, again good customer service is what I always look for that comes with good food. Without a doubt they have such wonderful staff ready to accommodate your orders. I talked to a lady named Vanessa and I asked her that I heard about a coupon stating if you order a meal, you get a second one for free and that it should of been printed off the last receipt when I last ordered from there, I told her that I did not know that promo & threw my receipt in the trash. She said that since I’m new she will go ahead and give me the one free meal with my purchase this time. I absolutely did not see that coming since it was my mishaps of being unaware of the promos going on. I appreciated this kind gesture from Vanessa & she should be acknowledged for her great customer service skills by making us happy!
Overall they have great homey food items that are ready to serve and would taste like grandma’s good ol fashioned cooking!

I don’t think anyone is surprised at a 2 star rating for Boston Market. They have sides that are pretty good for the most part, but their mains are pretty bad. I hadn’t eaten at BM in a while. But I saw an article on Yahoo about freebies and deals for Tax Day and BM was one of them. The deal was 2 meals of ¼ rack of ribs, with sides of corn and mashed potatoes and gravy, plus their famous corn bread, for get this $ 10.40 total. So about $ 5 a meal. Why not?
Well, I’ll tell you why not, the ribs are not meaty at all, and are SO salty! I prefer ribs with more of a sweet sauce, but these were way too salty. The meat was pretty dry too. Well, can’t say that I was really all that surprised.
However, the corn, potatoes, and esp the corn bread were way yummy.
The staff here are all nice and patient, even with the old senile man in front of us that did not understand the question of «What sides do you want?». The dining area is clean.
