These guys are the lock and key pros, its a treat going into their store and seeing all of the lock tech they have. They do one thing and one thing only, make keys and locks.
I had a trunk key made for my car, they did it for 4.30 with tax included. Done. They can even make car keys that require a chip, just call ahead to make sure they have stock (in my case they didn’t have the key avail till tmr).
If you need a lock or a key made, go here. A guy named Anthony Hill helped me.

I eventually ended up here after trying to get an ignition/​door key laser cut for my 2009 Range Rover Sport. Now you would think this is fairly easy to get done… well after calling and going to 3 different locksmiths that deal with auto’s it was the old «ohhh… that is a double cut laser key… so go to the dealer to get it cut». One company tried to charge me 150.00 to cut the key! Well Anthony (with 12+ years experience) was able to get the job done. Fantastic job and great effort on their part and best of all. the price was $ 30.00.
Highly recommend them and when you walk in to their place you know they have been around for a while and know their business.

The guys at Hill’s Bros have a lot of knowledge and offer great service. I ended up there after getting some unhelpful service at a small shop down by the beach. Hill’s Bros has a nice shop, and they helped me through some home security and tricky lock situations. Needless to say, I walked away very impressed.
If you get a chance, check out their floor made of keys and the historical locks on all the walls. There is also a lock museum on the premises, but I did not get a chance to check it out.
They need to open another shop in south county!

Every SINGLE time I’ve been to Hill’s Brothers since I first stopped by (on a recommendation) the entire staff has been nothing but facilitating and respectful. Numerous times I have had them cut keys for motorcycles, some with a key I have provided, and some just from bringing in and ignition/​seat lock. They are honest, up front about pricing, and they stand behind the quality of their work 100%. If they have any doubts about their work, they always inform me and explain their hesitations, and usually ask me to try it before I pay them for the work. If that isn’t honest and up front service from professionals, then I don’t know what is. These people are genuine and here to help, and as a result I will only come here from now on whenever I require any sort of locksmith services. Highly recommended and so far extremely pleased with the quality of work as well as the honesty and genuine courtesy of the workers.

Their communication lacks big time.
Paul does not follow up and I believe he is the top gun there. Too bad decent company run by poor staff.
Did some repairs, they needed adjusting, Hills Bros never came out like they said they would to do the work guaranteed by their company. This happened on a couple of occasions.
Not worth my time, moving on! Big Headache, ouch!

Our bmw driver side door lock was stripped/​stopped working (the key was fine) and the dealer wanted $ 250 to install the new door cylinder lock. I called other places & was getting confused until I got JASON on the phone @ Hill’s Bro’s, he was calm, nice, helpful… and spoke perfect english! Great communication! Great value! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Motorcycle key cut here… only $ 1/​per side but don’t let the price fool ya it is quality cutting of the key… Ducati doesn’t cut the key for u if u need a duplicate so u have to find a quality locksmith so ur not out $ 50 if they don’t cut it correctly.
Cheap labor prices n all they do is keys n locks so will be back for any of those services… the guys working here are friendly and helpful in answering your questions.

The guy I spoke with on the phone is very courteous but the reason I’m not giving them a full 5 star is because I felt they could have been more up front with their pricing. I’ve never had any locks re-​keyed/​replaced before so I’m not very familiar with the cost. When I called to inquire about the total cost of getting my mailbox re-​keyed or replaced (another place I had called prior said it would be $ 50 total to replace), the guy told me it would only cost me $ 15.50 to replace a mailbox lock. I immediately booked an appointment and had them come out the next day. Much to my dismay and disbelief, what I thought was $ 15.50 turned out to be $ 100.86. Because he failed to mention that it was going to be a $ 54 charge minimum for a service call and then an additional $ 30 for labor on top of the $ 15.50 lock replacement. I had asked him what the total cost would be to replace my mailbox lock or to get it re-​keyed prior to making the appointment and he very simply said $ 15.50! So I feel like I got baited and ripped off. The locksmith that came out was fine, did his job within 30 minutes. Granted, I should’ve called a few more places but when he said the total would be $ 15.50, that was good enough for me considering the previous place said the total cost would be $ 50. I should’ve gone with the previous place cuz now I paid double the price and there was nothing I can do about it because the work was already completed.

This place is fantastic, its like a real museum of locks and keys, the floor with thousands of keys arranged in diferent shapes must be seen to be believed, if there is anything related to locks they know it. The young kid that works the counter is very courteus and polite and if there are any issues after the fact he will eagerly fix it, this is the first business other than a restaurant that I strongly recommed that you should patronize. They also sell an all metal tactical pen for like $ 20.00 that everyone I show loves, check it out.

They have the coolest stuff here. If you need keys cut or a safe, this is the place. But, it is also the place for so much more… like the fingerprint scanning door lock, giant handcuffs for locking up a harley, a lock to keep your teen out of your liquor, or a hidden camera in a variety of designs.

They seem very nice over the phone. The price are reasonable compare to all the places I have called. Average price seems to be around $ 65-​$ 85.
In my continue pursuit to find a cheaper place to make my transponder key for 08 Sienna: $ 85 + Tax

Called around a few other places before I came here. The other place was quoting me $ 90 to come out to work on my glove box. Hills Bros quoted me $ 20! So I took it to them. Turned out my key was really worn down and they just replaced my key. Ended up paying $ 4. Very honest people and I think I found my locksmith for life. Thanks again!
