Specialties

A stunning winery destination overlooking Dry Creek Valley. Come up the steep, winding driveway and enjoy 360 degree views from the winery perched on top of a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards. Reserve a «Get Your Boots Dirty» tour on our Kawasaki Mule, sip wines and taste through olive oils and take in views that harken to Tuscany’s bucolic countryside. We offer local cheese and salami plates daily.

History

Established in 2009.

Born and raised a farmer in Healdsburg, owner Tim Bucher has been growing grapes since the age of 16. His love of farming is evident by the quality of the fruit he grows and produces. While clearing the land for vineyards, owner Tim Bucher, came across Mission olive trees dating back over 150 years. He brought the heritage of olive production back to the land and wove in orchards with vineyards similar to that in Europe as part of sustainable farming techniques that protect the land. The vines were planted over 17 years ago with a focus on Rhone varietals along with Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Our Viognier and Grenache wines are sought after along with our Roussanne, Marsanne and GSM Blends. Pairing the wines with our olive oils enhances the tasting experience. Come try our Blood Orange olive oil with brownies and sea salt paired with our Zinfandel and Red Blends. Sit on our terrace and take in the beauty of Dry Creek Valley.

Translated from the Italian word for tractor, «Trattore» felt like the suitable name for the land where my passions combine — on 40 acres of steep rolling hillsides in Dry Creek Valley, planted in vineyards and olive trees. This ranch is a tribute to my appreciation for the craftsmanship and enduring tradition of an iconic old red tractor that I brought over from Europe and is seen both on our wine label and working among the vines on our property today. It’s also where our commitment to rich farming traditions in the vineyard and attention to detail in the cellar come together to produce our collection of wines and olive oils. More than that, Trattore offers a «sense of place» where we look forward to sharing with guests who want to slow down and enjoy the stunning views of Dry Creek Valley over a glass of wine. Perhaps we can even interest you in a vineyard and orchard tour… from a tractor’s point of view.
