These guys are great. Rob Roper was my tech, and he was very knowledgeable and upfront during my service. I’ve used Efficiency for years, and they always have the best people who know exactly what they’re talking about. Dont go anywhere else if you need ac/​heater servicing.

Efficiency Mechanical has repeatedly wowed me with their service. They are quick, accommodating and trustworthy. Two of the service men that have came to my house learned their skills while in the service from what I gathered… apparently they learned well b/​c their skill and expertise level were mind-​blowing!
Keep up the good work and I’m sure by living in Arizona I’ll be calling you again! (hopefully not for a while though!)

Had another company come and tell me I needed a new system and quoted me a price over 6 thousands dollars. Called efficiency for a second prove to compare, talked to Bob who while he was happy to Price out a new system install, encouraged me to have his repair staff come take a look first. Figured for the price of a service call it was worth a shot. Guy called first like they said he would, showed up exactly when he said he would, got right at it. Within 20 minutes had my system up and working with 2 new parts. Less than 400.00 instead of thousands! I don’t know if they are the cheapest out there but they are honest. I had several quotes on balancing the air flow in my office. They all wanted to do a major overhaul of my duct work costing Thousands of dollars. Efficiency Mechanical came up with a simple solution that cost a fraction of the other guys. My office is now well balanced and I have been able to drop my thermostat by 4 – 5 degrees. My employees are happy because before Efficiency Mechanical came in half where freezing and the other half where hot.
These guys where honest and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Efficiency Mechanical is great place to turn to when in need. They are quick and accurate in their diagnosis and very fair with the pricing. The job is done right their first time. Plus they know how to deal with difficult landlords! :)

These guys are awesome, they’re honest. If they come to your house to service your HVAC system they actually «service your system» (shocking). I was a commercial construction executive for almost 20 years and I’ve seen A LOT of shady stuff.
********If you see an ad for a low cost ($ 50 or less) service special RUN… RUN AWAY from that company as fast as you can!******
Here’s how these guys work… their technicians are on 100% commission, if he doesn’t sell you «something» he doesn’t get paid. If he doesn’t consistently sell customers «something» he gets fired. No company can afford to come to your house for free (do you really think you can trust them?). A company can’t even be profitable having a technician drive a van to your house for $ 49 and be profitable. For $ 49 they’re not «servicing» anything, they’re just visually looking for things to sell you (see 100% commission above). So don’t fall for that BS!
Go with someone you can trust… Efficiency Mechanical.

I have used Efficiency for my home and office for the last 2 years and they have done a great job. They are timely, reliable, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them on any new construction, or repair project.

We just hired Efficiency Mechanical to come out to our house we recently purchased to install an exhaust fan in our master bathroom and to re-​insulate our attic. Matt came out to give us estimates and was very helpful in answering all questions we had about adding the insulation and the exhaust vent. He got back to us very fast with a very fair quote and we chose to use their services.
A few days later, we set up a time for them to come do the work, the two guys who showed up were very friendly and I could tell they were knowledgeable about what they were doing. I wish I could remember their names, they were great. They put down protection to cover our flooring, etc. so it wouldn’t get damaged or dirty during the process. They installed the fan first and then blew in the insulation.
During the installation of the vent, they came to me to let me know that our other bathroom’s vent duct work was not installed properly and the flapper was not opening fully, they let me know they had already fixed it for me, even though it was not a part of the scope of work included in their bid. They also told me one of our A/​C ducts was leaking air… which they also fixed without asking for any more money. This was all extra work they didn’t have to do, or they could have asked for more money, but being an ethical company, they made sure they were not just adding what we asked for, but making sure everything around it was working properly as well.
All in all, it seemed as they finished the job pretty quick and came to me to inspect their work before they left.
There were a few drywall nails that had popped out a little bit in the ceiling from their cutting and/​or walking (crawling) around the attic. They grabbed their drywall compound right away and patched up all the holes, without any question as to whether they caused them or not. They offered to come back to paint over the compound for us as well which we declined as I already had other patch paint work to do from the electrician before them. They let me climb up to the attic to inspect the insulation (verify the depth agreed on) and were on their way. Altogether a great experience (rare for a lot of contractors) but if we ever need mechanical work on this house or any others down the road, Efficiency has earned a customer for life, thanks for the great work!

They fixed the problem, but it was stressful working with them. They tried to sell us a contract to have check ups 2x per year for an exorbitant amount. I had a contract which I showed them that covered the parts 100%, but they tried to «bribe» us and say that if we purchased their plan, they would be able to replace the part because then that showed we were «properly maintaining our air conditioners». First of all, purchasing a plan AFTER we had a problem would not show proper maintenance for the past which contained the problem. The Supervisor tried to persuade me that he probably would not get paid from the company for the part that they were replacing and after arguing unpleasantly with him, he said he would check with the manufacturer of the air conditioning units WHICH WE HAD A CONTRACT WITH. Then they finally replaced the part. Secondly, after our research, we have found that these units only need checking about once per year and there are honest, air companies that charge $ 50-​$ 75 for the visit!

I have a 5 year old unit and am on my 4^th blower motor. 2 summers ago I had them come out to repair the blower motor on a 3 year old Carrier unit. The tech took forever to fix and even had to call out another tech, they didn’t finish until after 10pm and even then the repairs weren’t complete because they had to order a defrost board. The part was supposed to be replaced with manufacture warranty parts. A year later the blower motor failed again, this time I called another company, The other company tells me that they didn’t use a manufactured replacement part and that the part they did put it was to big. So called efficiency to come fix the motor, luckily it was still under their 1 year warranty. 1 year and 2 months later the blower has failed again but this time all they offered was 15% off repairs.

Once again, I am grateful to Efficiency Mechanical! Bill Smith came out today and not only fixed my problem-​but explained everything to me and offered helpful suggestions. In the valley of the sun– it’s reassuring to know we have a company we can trust!

If you have HVAC systems on your home that need regular professional maintenance, you should really consider Efficiency for your service company. They have serviced 5 different condenser/​air handler systems on my home for ten years and my systems work flawlessly. My wine room was never properly cooled until Efficiency put in a commercial level system that does the job. I highly recommend this company. They go above and beyond to make things work.

We recently moved here full time last July. We were having trouble with an air conditioning unit in our new home when the first company showed up and told us he could not even get into the furnace/​blower area without first removing and re-​plumbing the water heater because it was in the way of the unit…
Your company was a referral from our friend and contractor P.J. Lane Contracting, He ask us to say nothing about what the last heating & air company had told us and just see what you guys had to say.
Tim Ryder was the tech that showed up within two hours of our call to you, he was very nice and professional. Tim went through the top part of the unit and cleaned out all of the debris that had accumulated through a remodel and had it working like a charm!
I then ask him to service a second unit which he did.
Then I ask him to service two other units at a rental property that we have here in Scottsdale.
I would not go anywhere other than Efficiency Mechanical or your technician Tim Ryder!

I have used Efficiency Mechanical for three years.
They responded when my existing unit (serviced by a different company) died. They came out on Saturday diagnosed the problem and installed two new systems on Monday. They have been servicing my heating and A/​C units ever since.
Bill Smith is their technician and is the most detailed person I have ever met. Prompt, efficient, respectful, on-​time and knowledgable!

When it comes to purchasing a new A/​C unit or maintaining the one (s) you currently own, why you would look anywhere else but to Efficiency Mechanical, I simply don’t know. For years now, they have been competitively priced, always on time, and the job always gets completed as I had hoped. This company just came to our home to fix the AC after it had been out for a few days and no other companies could get here to fix it for another 24 – 48 hrs. They were here in less than 30 minutes and got the AC running, cleaned-​up, etc fairly quickly. Mechanic was clean (esp considering his line of work), polite, and didn’t leave a huge mess for me to clean-​up. It also took him less than 30 seconds to know what the problem was & how he was going to fix it.
