I have used these guys a few times for tune-​ups, inspections, etc. The first few times I used them, I thought they were pretty good. The last time… not so much. I hired them in March to conduct an inspection on a rental property. After the inspection, they charged my card but did not provide the inspection report. I forgot about it for several months and, recently (June ’16), remembered «hey, I paid them to do a job and Im not even sure that it was taken care of.» I called the office. The nice, friendly receptionist said that she was not sure and would have the technician contact me. A day or two (or three) later, I received an illegible inspection report via email. I could not understand a thing on it. There were no details in the email, it was just the attached pdf. I replied asking for an explanation as to what the inspection report meant. I received an email back from Steve (the owner I presume) and he essentially said, «your A/​C unit is causing your tenants monthly power bill to increase. The cost of replacing it would be less than the cost of repairing it. You need a new A/​C.» I replied and asked how much more the bill is than it should be and how is it even possible to measure that. I also asked why, if I need a new A/​C was I not informed of this back in March after the inspection. No response. I sent another email asking about the status of my questions. No response. I know it is their busy season, it is mine as well, so I get that. I just thought my business meant more to them than what they are showing me. I guess not. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This company was a life saver. Tried replacing my thermostat I .was pretty proud of myself. Until it wouldn’t turn on. I obviously messed something up. Called and our tech Hunter was great and here in less than hour. Ended up being a simple fix. Which I appreciate his honesty. Was definitely reasonably priced especially being after hours. I will definitely use again and refer out. Honest companies are hard to find.

I called Simply the Best to do an Inspection and Service my AC unit after doing tons of research and reading reviews on many different HVAC companies.
I hit the jackpot!
They were outstanding!
Ryan was my AC Technician. He was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable and excellent customer service! And, Ryan is a US Marine Corps veteran!
I even received a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied with the service.

What a great company to handle all your HVAC needs.
Backstory: Our A/​C stopped blowing cold air on Tuesday night. We called in to a popular HVAC company to get a recharge of freon. The inspection pointed to a leak in the evap coil. Called home warranty company, was given several horrid companies to do the work. Did a Google search and STB came up as the top rated result in the Gilbert area. Thankfully, we were able to choose our own contractor for the job!
Called and spoke with Ashley, who is AMAZING at ensuring you are treated like royalty, is very knowledgable, and answers all my crazy OCD questions (and should receive a raise! ;)) She told me someone will return my call with an estimate. Ryan, who is equally amazing, called back almost immediately and sent me an estimate within twelve hours. He then came out after business hours to do a second diagnosis inspection. (Ryan also deserves a raise! ;)) It turns out it, in fact, IS the evap coil leaking.
The next morning, I get a call at 7:30am saying that the installers will be there at 8:00am. Danny shows up and expediently gets to work, removing the offending coil. Dean shows up a little while later with the new coil to replace it. (Again, Danny and Dean deserve a raise for working in the hot attic for a couple hours!) The install went well and both were very efficient in doing their work. They were also very friendly, which is refreshing to see with installers!
Additionally, Ashley helped setup the communications between STB and my home warranty company, which was really appreciated, as I was getting a bit annoyed by said warranty company at that point…
Overall, I will say that because of the above and beyond service I received from Ashley, Ryan, Danny, and Dean, I will not hesitate to call them for any future HVAC needs. I recommend them whole-​heartedly!

The connector part cost $ 30 and I did it myself in about 15 minutes. Ryan quoted me $ 325 to replace the part which I though was a high quote.

They really are «Simply the Best»!! Jesse, the service manager, came today to trouble shoot out why our upstairs AC unit wasn’t working. He was prompt, very nice to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable! One of the nicest things was that he was not pushy at all. Our AC units are an older version and will likely need to be replaced in the next couple of years. However with a new baby on the way we don’t really have the finances right now do it. He never made me feel like we had to do it right now, but when we do have the ability to replace them, I will CERTAINLY be calling him! He was a pleasure to work with and they are a great business! I had our heater stop working on a hot 100 degree evening. Ryan called me back at 7:30 PM on a Sunday evening. He was able to get to my house by 9:00 PM. He diagnosed and replaced the blower motor and capacitor. He had our house cooling down again by 10:15 PM. Great work. Professional. Honest. I found a new company.

Their name is very appropriate. I purchased a new heat pump a few months ago and I couldn’t be happier. I got a fair price on an energy efficient unit, a 10 year warranty and quick, professional installation. Everyone from the first inquiring phone call to the service and install techs were sincerely nice and friendly and very professional. I was pleasantly surprised with follow-​up visits from both techs & managers just to see if I was still happy and if everything was meeting (exceeding) my expectations. I highly recommend this company — they are Simply the Best!

Recommend. My heater and A/​C kept frosting up, even with minimal use, and a quick google search showed that they had 24 hr service. I called on a Sunday afternoon and within 2 hours, they showed up. They did a quick diagnoses on the unit and found an inoperable fan as well as corroded coils in the furnace. Jesse recommended a new unit and discussed my options. My HVAC unit was the original unit from when the house was originally built (14 yrs old). Jesse was very professional and discussed all the options I had. He installed a temporary motor on my fan, so that it would work until a new unit could be installed. We settled on a new unit and made the appointment for a new unit installation. The turn-​around time was very short!
When the installation team arrived, they were very respectful of my house and conducted themselves extremely well. Sean and Ryan (the install team) were soft spoken and explained everything to me so that I understood what was going on. They even showed me my old unit when they took it out and explained the leaks and corrosion that had occured over the years. Ryan and Sean installed the new unit in half the time they originally thought it would take and double checked everything. They then cleaned up after themselves and you could barely tell they were there. Ryan also took the time to walk me through the operation of the new wireless thermostat and gave tips for getting the most efficient use from the new unit.

Perfect experience. AC unit quit working and called their answering service at night and Steve called back in less than 3 min saying he could come in an hour to fix it since we had children including a 6 week old baby in the Arizona heat! We had already arranged to stay at family’s house so told him if he could come the next day and he offered to come by on his way into work at 7am to get it done and sure enough he was here and fixed the capacitor issue in less than 20 min and house is COLD again! What a painless and customer friendly process with this company-​they are my «go to» now!
P. s. He even made it easy by talking to home warranty company to provide details of the job so that I could get reimbursed (so if you have a home warranty they don’t accept payment from them directly but will help make sure you get paid back:)). Thanks Simply The Best!
