Impressions Carpet Services

I would give it zero stars, but that is not an option on Unilocal.Impressions did a great job the first time they came to my townhouse to clean the carpet two years ago (2013). Unfortunately, when they came this time (summer 2015) to clean the same carpet, the guy took about 45 minutes to clean two bedrooms and the hall, which seemed much faster than before, and the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned at all even after we let it dry. I went a rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned the carpet myself in the same area a few days later, and the first bucket of water came out black as if Impressions was never there. It took me all day to re-​clean the carpet that I had paid Impressions over $ 300-​$ 400 to clean. We also sent out a 9′ x 12′ rug to them for cleaning, and when we rolled it out, my husband commented on how it looked like they had not cleaned it very thoroughly. I thought it was just our experience, but my mom just had had Impressions come out to clean her carpet, and she said it looks no cleaner than before they came. When she called to let them know, they told her that they could come out and clean it again, but it would be the same result. She also felt like they were accusing her of making these claims so she would not have to pay for their service, but she would happily pay to have clean carpets than to have to deal with this. If I had known that she had scheduled them to come out and clean her carpet, I would have suggested she call someone else. I will never use their service again.

Just had our carpets restretched by Chris. Incredible job!!! We had struggled with other carpet companies in the past trying to fix our carpet issues and had been told that the job was impossible and we probably needed to change the carpet or live with the waves. Chris was professional and courteous and did an amazing job. He was honest and upfront with us and so we were thrilled that he was able to get out waves in places that we didn’t think possible. Amazing job and well exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend this company and Chris!!!

We would heartily recommend Impressions for carpet and upholstery cleaning. They have been in our home four times, and each time demonstrated high standards for service and friendliness. More important — our pet strained carpets always look like new. The technicians do an excellent job and prices are very competitive.
