FANTASTIC! I would give them more stars if that was an option! I cannot say enough great things about Fohl and McClellan. They helped my family and I sell our home and also with the purchase of our new home. Because of their expert knowledge, market insight and amazing willingness to make sure we were happy, they were able to help me create a better life for my family.
The market in the Bay area is so crazy right now and there is not a lot of homes. My wife and I never thought we would move in this type of market, but the right home came up. That same night we contacted Fohl and McClellan to let them know we were interested in seeing it. That next day we were touring the home. That night we put in an offer and listed our home. The entire process went so smooth and we could not believe it was so easy! Fohl and McClellan made my family’s dream come true. They were on top of the entire process the whole time and helped us get our new house (there were 10 other over asking offers). Trust me, you can not find a better real estate company to do business with…

Les Fohl and Brenda McClellan are the most personable and professional realtors in the E. Bay. We interviewed several realtors but Les and Brenda had the team to come in and turn my father’s 30 year old home into a sale ready property. They came in and spruced up the house including fresh paint, deep carpet cleaning and had all inspections performed. They even staged the house to make it more attractive.
They did such a great job the house sold above asking price in less than a week!

Les Fohl is a phenomenal agent. I’ve worked with real estate agents in the past, but I’ve never worked with anyone kinder or more knowledgeable the Les. He helped our family during a difficult time to assess our options and negotiate with tenants. There’s a reason he’s the go-​to guy in Hayward; he not only does good work, he does great work.

What a great team!!! I have found Les Fohl and Brenda McClellan to be extremley knowledgeable and attentive to every one of my real estate needs. Their entire team, including Patty the office manager, are well trained and work extremely hard for their clients. I find it difficult to see any rating less than all 5 stars for this real estate company. I will never use any other company and they are not only experts in Hayward real estate but the entire Bay Area. I have purchased or sold homes in San Leandro, Castro Valley, unincorporated Hayward and San Ramon using Fohl and McClellan. Every transaction with this real estate company was an example of hard work, perseverance and an example of the client comes first. Thank you guys!!!

Gave bad financial, unethical advice. Suggested to us to not pay mortgage bill to get Home modification. That caused us all kind of issues. Then once we were in modification mode and hot water. Les Fohl found a buyer and and amazingly his bidder new exactly what our lowest acceptable offer was and it appeared to be some one who worked for him. Seemed all very suspicious. They gave us bad advice and then tried to capitalize on us while we were in bad state. Admittedly they are a shrewd real estate agency but they will take advantage of seller in heart beat. They try to come off as all christian or whatever you are but Les Fohl is all sales man, no heart very fake. Don’t be fooled buy this very ambitious but lest than ethical team of agents. We finally chose a different agent. We ended up going through Bill Espinola and was able to get 150k more after closing than the highest offer from Les. One of the clues we knew it was fishy; the person made exact offer with out even seeing our place inside. but seemed to bid exactly the same amount we told Les Fohl would take in worst case.
So even though we listed with him, it ended up so that he represent both the buyer and the seller and (it was just another agent in his office) tried to rob the seller; and take advantage of people when their already suffering from the bad advice he gave.
If you try to counter this complaint i will start posting actual documents and documents that would look really bad for you!!! Very unhappy ex– client who will never use them or recommend to any one I care about.

Today Thursday March 31, 2016 I met with Real Estate Broker Less Fohl at his office in Hayward, CA. I had previously contacted on the phone to discuss several subjects concerning about my real estate portfolio. Over the years I have met several real estate brokers, however, Mr. Fohl was by far the best one; I find him trustworthy, knowledgeable, pleasant, offering practical and sound solutions for every concern.
I had an intense one hour brainstorming meeting, very productive, in a very honest atmosphere of trust and honesty that is note very easy to find in today’s business world. I don’t want to go into specifics about my real estate portfolio, but suffices to say is about houses, notes, vacant lots, taxes and a many other issues. I don’t hesitate to say that he is the best broker I have found in California and outside California. He deserves five stars rating.

Bay Area has the one of the hottest real estate market in the country and where it’s nearly impossible to buy a house especially with a hot market. This will not be case if you work with Brenda at Fohl and McClellan Real Estate.
We now have sold and bought a new home in the Bay Area and would say would have been IMPOSSIBLE if we didn’t work with Brenda and team at Fohl and McClellan Real Estate. Our house was sold and closed 3 weeks after it was listed and got our new home 2 weeks after that. I didn’t think it was possible to get a new home in a short amount of time in our area in this market. I doubted and questioned them, but they made it happen! It’s also the home that we wanted!
We loved how Brenda, Les and their team worked. My wife and I both work in the mornings and the only time we were available were at nights and weekends. Brenda, Les and Cristina worked with our schedule at night, gave us expertise advices, suggested strategies and worked with our budget. They answered all of our questions and were always available — it doesn’t matter if it’s via a phone call, email or text. Their team walked and guided us through every process from listing, staging the home, negotiating, signing, closing, going through escrow and with the moving process. They even worked with the lender and title directly to coordinate everything and making sure things are on track. In short they did ALLLL of the leg work. The only stressful part of all of this was the anticipation of when we will hand our keys to the buyers and get the keys for our new home! Oh, did I mention that my wife is pregnant… Imagine the stress of what buying and selling a house would’ve added in our situation. This experience was so seamless and stress-​less because of their knowledge, expertise and experience!
Do you need help in selling, buying, investing in real estate, knowing the trend on home sales in this hot market? THIS IS THE TEAM TO CALL. We sure glad we did!

I can’t say enough about how satisfied and happy we were with how Les Fohl and the real estate team of Fohl and McClellan handled the sale of my mother’s home. Our first contact was with Les. He explained the process from start to finish. What we should expect and he answered every questioned and didn’t leave this meeting until we were completely satisfied. He made sure we were all comfortable. After that, his team went to work and got things rolling. Big shout out to Marissa, Vicky and Christina. They all had a job to do and they did it. Also, no questions were too small. They were very patient especially since I’ve never sold a house before. I would highly recommend Les and his team for their professionalism and expertise.

Cristina and Carmen are THE BEST! Carmen is a miracle worker! She was able to find us the perfect home for our family. She made herself easily accessible and made it very convenient for us by accommodating our work schedule.
Cristina took care of all the loose ends to ensure we had a smooth process. Cristina coordinated with our lender and sellers to make sure we had all our ducks in a row to close quickly.
Both Carmen and Cristina made the process seamless! I would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family.

I came here to consult with Brenda whether or not we wanted to sell or stay. Actually had a chance to meet with Les as well to decide what we were going to do. They have been in Hayward for many, many years and are really knowledgeable. We were given the pros and cons to selling our house and whether or not it would make sense to sell. We decided to stay, but if I were ever to buy or sell in the city of Hayward. You must call them!!! They are not at all pushy and are genuinely caring people who really want whats best for you. I recommend you give them a call!

My family decided to sell our grandmother’s home and we were referred to Les and Brenda. We are so happy we did. Les and Brenda were absolutely wonderful. They came out and met with our entire family and explained how everything was going to work. They made a price recommendation and helped coordinate a few small things that made the home show unbelievably well. Our home was sold in less than 2 weeks and for $ 40k over the asking price! After living in our house for 39 years we decided to sell and make a change and move out of the state to be close to our granddaughter. Les’s and Brenda’s team helped us every step of the way in every aspect. From helping us getting a painter, electrical contractor to even someone to clean our carpets. They definitely are a one stop shop. Everyone is professional and we felt we were in good hands at all times. Great job by everyone! I highly recommend them.

Les Fohl such a great real estate broker. The guy knows every single part of what it takes to get a deal done. Les goes out of his way to make miracles happen. My wife and i wanted to move to hayward and Les stepped up to the plate and provided excellent service. there’s no doubt in my mind who’s the best in the industry. if you don’t believe me look at all his awards and he’s well known. We eventually closed in our home June 15^th of 2015. Great person and really a down to earth kinda guy

My Wife and I could not be happier with the entire team at Fohl and McClellan! We came to them with a challenging sitituation and they weather our crazy storm with confidence and finesse. We needed to move closer to work to avoid our 2 hour commute so we could spend time with our newborn. The biggest hurdle was our time line, we had only 4 months to be done with everything or else we would end up homeless. Les Fohl was so incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we were looking that he eliminated hours of unnecessary searching and driving from one bad place to another.
Our star from Fohl and McClellan was Jason Ellis! I am so impressed with his energy and dedication. If I was not so glad to be done with the stress that comes with moving on a dead line I would do it again as long as my wingman Jason was there for the experience. He would answer texts at 2am when we were freaking out about not having a place to live and he would subdue our crazy with reassurance that everything will work out, and it did. He went above and beyond what a regular realtor would do. He helped us paint our Kitchen for our open house, on his advice not everyone like neon cabinets. Even after his job was done he was there to make sure we got settled in our new place. Not only did he help us move on a hot day getting his suit all sweaty, he even BBQ’d lunch for us on moving day as a celebration (the Roast was delicious!!). Not once did I feel like I was working with a realtor. It was more like working with a friend who had our best interest at heart.
I have and will recommend the entire team at Fohl and McClellan for any real estate adventure!!!
