A week ago, I woke from my sleep to a faint sound of running water and it stopped as soon as I got out of
one was awake so I checked it out– nothing. After 25 minutes, there it was again. By experience I knew it was coming from one of the toilets. There was a leak causing the toilet to run intermittently. The fill valve would automatically fill the tank when the water level became low. I changed the flapper the next day, sanded the valve hole but the leak was still there. I then bought a valve kit and siliconed it to the valve hole yet the leak was still there. Time for a new toilet.
Did an online research to find out which was the best for its value and American Standard came out as the best.
.Got the specs and bought online from Home Depot.
I could have done the installation myself, but because of my back problems, I decided to call Jr Handyman Services from Unilocal listings and explained my situation. Ray gave me a very reasonable quote and told me to call him back when I’m ready to have it installed. The following day, a Friday, Home Depot calls and said the toilet and accessories were going to be ready by 1pm. My best friend Lerrie was also ready with his pick up truck and a dolly. I call back Ray to inform him of the developments. He tells me to call him when I’m in the house already with the toilet. Remember, it’s a Friday and many still have the TGIF mentality. I call Ray and he is in the house after 30 minutes. Gets right to work with his partner, Jerome who is also a young, polite and respectful man and is out of the house in about an hour and a half. Call me, if there is a problem Ray says as he gets into his van. I check the installation– no leaks but I noticed a little movement in the tank. I call Ray and he is back in the house after 20 minutes. He makes some adjustments then leave. I’m a happy camper.

Ray did a great job installing our new sink faucet. His price was very reasonable, he guaranteed his work, and he was very responsive to my initial inquiry and with respect to scheduling. I’ll be hiring him again!

I must say i am extremely impressed with the recent work i have received from this company. Beginning with phone contact. Mr. Ray was courteous, and well spoken. He has product knowledge among being very familiar with what needs to be fixed prior to move out from my home. He had requested i send him a few photos so he can better assist in supplies prior to his arrival. Based off that he gave a reasonable price quote along with setting a brief walk through as i had larger issues to be fixed beyond the broken showerhead, lighting replacements, new door, powerwashing etc. Accompanying dents in the walls from children riding scooters in my house, ugh. …i have been searching several handyman services and received many quotes me wheeling and dealing i had expressed i needed a fantastic deal considering this house needs an overhaul including interior paint. Once we completed the walkthrough he gave me a quote i could not resist and continued with hiring Jr’s handyman service. As agreed he fixed the above items promptly. We also scheduled a near later date so he may work on painting. I will keep his business card close by as i know many people and small businesses who can definitely work with a company who provides prompt services, with integrity, knowledge, a positive attitude, most importantly a company who is willing to work within your budget. I can’t thank you enough for helping my family out. The work is absolutely amazing.
