I was searching for a place that does frame repair and thought I’d give this place a try based on good reviews. I called first, just to make sure they did frame repair only because I live on the other side of town. My boyfriend and I enter the establishment and the gentlemen who’s name is David, was assisting a customer. So we patiently waited our turn at the counter. After David was finished assisting the customer, he walked right by us and went to the back and was chatting with the staff. He did not greet us or even acknowledge our presence. We patiently remain at the counter thinking he may be in the middle of something. A women came out and greeted us and let us know that someone will be with us shortly after noticing that we had been waiting a while. David then walks out right by us again and walks to the door as another customer enters the establishment. He then walks the customer to the counter right next to us and begins to assist him. Really? Even the women at the counter tried whispering to David that we were there first and had been waiting. With no luck of getting his attention, she apologized and proceeded to help us herself. David is a poor example of good customer service. We were either invisible, or he just did not feel like helping us. They also do not fix frames at this location, so he lied to us as well. Will never be returning to Custom Eyes or referring anyone to this business.

Kim is absolutely fantastic at helping you pick out frames. She’s the most knowledgeable person I found in this area and I definitely looked around. Their prices aren’t inflated so you don’t need a groupon.

I came here as a new patient last week and absolutely love Custom Eyes and Dr. Tran! I went to a doctor before who was not able to correct my prescription in my right eye but Dr. Tran was able to with no problem. She also was able to get me to wear a normal prescription and not the toric contact lense that the stigmatism in my eye calls for as it is such a minor stigmatism. This saved me money on the exam and my contacts will be cheaper. What GREAT NEWS!
Everyone in the office was very friendly. The only negative was that their phone lines were down and so their credit/​debit cards weren’t going through and I didn’t have cash on me so I had to go drive to an ATM and get cash and then bring it back to pay them. They didn’t offer to bill me but that’s ok, issues like that happen and I’m sure it won’t happen again.
If you’re looking for a new Eye Doctor who is genuine and is truly looking out for the patient come here! You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve came here after the great reviews on Unilocal.I brought my grandma first. Everyone in the office were nice & knowledgeable. The doctor was very gentle. They do have a great selection of glasses ranging from basic glasses to name brand like: versace, guess, Ray beans, oaklands, just a few I remember. When I came back for my visit. Same thing everyone was nice same professionalism. No regrets I’m glad I trusted them with my eye sight

Great experience! I came here after getting a new pair of plastic frames. I have a small-​ish nose that doesn’t support plastic frames very well because they tend to slide down my face and so I needed to get nose pads drilled in. I brought my frames into Custom Eyes one day and the employees were able to do the entire procedure in about 15 minutes. Way quicker than I had anticipated! The place that I went to before (Frame Fixer on Eastern) held onto my glasses for a few days and they were also pricier (not to mention that the nosepad they installed actually broke after a few uses!!!). I highly recommend Custom Eyes for any eyeglass repairs! They are so friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable!

Dr. Tran is simply lovely! Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful no wait at all. Dr. Tran doesn’t rush she actually takes her time to explain and help with any questions. They have a great glasses selection! Kim was the best she truly went above and beyond to help me. Honestly best customer service!

Very nice people. They handle business like business. I got a well informed dissertation about UV and the importance of UV protection for your eyes. Directly connected to the brain and how some people don’t think about it if they don’t yet have an eye issue. I’ll be doing more business with Custom Eyes.

Have been coming here, and only here, since I first moved to Vegas 5 years ago. This place has great customer service and a great optometrist (Dr. Tran). She is very thorough and friendly and is willing to spend extra time with customers. She spent a lot of extra time with me after the company stopped making my colored contacts to try and find something that I liked instead, allowing me to try on many different pairs of contacts before picking one I liked. I can’t speak to the glasses side of the business as I have never purchased glasses from them. It is usually pretty easy to get an appointment here, and they have late and some weekend hours which makes it great for the 9 – 5 workers. Strongly recommend this optometrist!

I had a positive experience here. Service is fast. Staff is nice, patient and friendly. Doctor is knowledgeable and explained things and give advices. She isnt in a hurry just like any other doctors.
They have frames for cheaper price and they look nice and durable. Just be careful in choosing frames coz people drop it and it and may damage it. I just wish they have more designer frames. Price is reasonable. The staff took time to explain the different upgrades you can do with your lens like transition, anti glare etc.
This will be my new eyeglass place from now on

Dr. Tran provides exceptional service, is courteous, quick and understanding of questions and concerns you might have. Her assistant (I totally missed her name – perhaps Monica?) was also stellar and made sure my pre-​exam tests and retinal scans were quick and painless and that I understood the procedures before she began.
Depending on your insurance, Custom Eyes optical CAN be rather pricey. I was somewhat taken aback by the cost for two pairs of prescription lenses when I paid so little before at a generic eyeglass store. However, for the time they take to explain and work through what options are available to you, the service alone is worth the time and money. The staff is kind and patient and they go out of their way to make sure you really understand all of the options that are available to you. Also, the selection is huge.

I am so impressed with this facility. In from the east coast and having severe eye dryness. Doctor took one look at me, listened to my symptoms and immediately said I needed antibiotics and steroid drops. Wrote a prescription and gave me the name of some lubricant drops to buy in between the prescriptions. When I asked how much was the bill I was told there was «no charge»! Now that’s what I call hospitality! Thank you so much!

Dr. Tran is very attentive and knowledgeable and cares that you get the eye care needed for you… no cookie cutter here.
Today was my second time at Custom Eyes. As Arnold says «I’ll be back»…again. On both visits price and service were top notch. After my original visit I had to return to swap out a lens on my glasses. She simply adjusted my script to better match my left eye which as slight astigmatism.
On this current visit, Dr. Tran was honest informing me that I was able to be fitted with a «normal» contact lens vs. Toric (much more expensive). She saved me the time of waiting another year (I was well short of funds for Toric lenses) to get contacts with that timely advice.

This review is specific to the receptionist/​staff.
I am a big fan of local businesses that treat people well. I was in Vegas on vacation recently and lost my only pair of contact lenses. No backup glasses either (I don’t plan too well!) so I called up these guys and they were super accommodating. All they asked for was for me to show up with my prescription to pick up a pair of contacts.
I am not a customer and had never received any services here so they were under no obligations to help me. However they were super courteous and let me have a complimentary pair of contacts.
You guys helped me big time. Thanks!

Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had when going to get glasses and/​or contacts. Dr. Tran is amazing but so is the optician Dave and Kim too. First of all they have great prices, for people like me that don’t need expensive glasses because I wear contacts more, they have a CLEARANCE rack of glasses! It was awesome. There was at least 100 pair under 50 $. I think mine were $ 30 and they are gorgeous. On the other hand, they still have all the nice designer brands that are popular. Also, they had the best price on contacts that I have found to this day.
On top of the great prices, the customer service is outstanding. Kim let me talk her ear off while waiting for my exam. She is fabulous. And Dave is so nice and personable. I love coming there just to see them.
Also, I sat on my glasses and they were a little tweaked (one side was higher than the other) so I walked in (no appt.) and Dave took them in the back, straightened them out, cleaned them up, and I walked out. Took 3 minutes and didn’t cost a dime. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you!

This Dr was amazing ! She really took a lot of time with me & my son. My son is 11 and has Autism, she was great with him & didn’t make him do any unnecessary testing. She got our prescriptions right on .
The Custom Eyes part was great also, everybody was super nice & professional. The prices were excellent compared to other places I’ve been to.
The only downfall is we both picked out frames off the clearance rack & I’m not sure they will last long. The are a bit flimsy, but I guess you get what you pay for.

This is a great place! I went after reading all the reviews and thought I’d give it a try!
The staff is very friendly and helpful without being pushy!
The eye doctor was amazing and very knowledgable also very friendly and personal able.
Once I picked out some glasses I was amazed at the price! Cheaper than anywhere I’ve ever been! I got two pairs with the no glare and plastic lenses for 250! I’ve paid over 400 for just one pair in the past.
But wait there’s more! The best part yet… THEY WERE READY THE SAME DAY! They called me within an hour and a half to tell me my glasses were ready for pick up! How awesome is that?! It’s a one stop shop with quality and great service.
And of course as another little bonus. They give you a little bottle of lens cleaner and free refills for life whenever it’s empty!
I’ll always go here and refer all my friends!
