We refinish Bathtubs, Shower Enclosures, Tiles, Clawfoot Tubs, Countertops, Vanity tops, Cast Iron Tubs, Fiberglass Showers, Sinks & Cabinets. Any other hard surface can be resurfaced, refinished or reglazed. The nature of our work allows us to contribute to the sustainability of the planet. With our environmentally conscious mentality, the vision of Discovery Coatings is to Restore rather than Replace. The work done by us allows our customers to revitalize their bathrooms and beautify their kitchens in a socially responsible and environmentally safe manner, at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Discovery Coatings is owned and operated by Gargie Balarbar. Gargie has extensive experience in the refinishing business. As a partner in a lucrative resurfacing business in Seattle, Washington, Gargie supervised 18 crew members in the Recoating of countertops, bathtubs, sinks, fireplaces, cabinets, tiles, and Jacuzzi.

After ten years away from home, Gargie planned to use his skills and experience to operate his own resurfacing company in the place he grew up, the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. He then decided to work with a local refinishing company to learn about the needs of his prospective clients. Now, Gargie looks forward to running his own environmentally concious business in his area of expertise, resurfacing.
