Unlike many other Realtors, I’m a fulltime Realtor! I’ve been buying and selling real estate of my own for the past 17 years, so I have a unique perspective to offer my clients. Though my home office is in Hercules, I grew up in San Francisco and am very familiar with all the Bay Area counties. My resume includes over 20 years of relevant yet diverse education and work experiences including the unique benefit of receiving extensive education in contract law, business law, property law, unlawful detainers and litigation. I worked on the application of these critical subjects as a paralegal and courtroom clerk in the private and public sectors. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about Mariama. She made the process of buying our first home so quick, easy, and comfortable. No matter what hour, Mariama was available to answer my questions thoroughly. Throughout the entire process Mariama was honest with us and never pushed us to purchase something outside of our means. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home.

Mariama was a huge asset in my home search. She was always available to answer my questions and gave 120%. This was my first home purchase. Because I bought a foreclosure, it was a long and complicated process, and Mariama did an incredible amount of work to make it happen. She worked on my behalf for eight months (!) so I could get the home and location that I wanted. I submitted two offers in Oakland and won both bids, despite the crazy market.
She made sure to pass on information as soon as she got it, and was proactive following up with other agents and lenders. When visiting homes, she would point out features that I overlooked. Whenever I asked for a referral, she had a couple options for me. It’s no coincidence she’s a top producer for her firm — she’s honest, reliable and hardworking!

Mariama has been incredible from start to finish. She was attentive and friendly on our first phone conversation and immediately started showing us places that met exactly what we were looking for. She knows Hercules inside out and was the perfect person to help us learn all of the different neighborhoods and what we could get in the area.
We spent almost three months searching for the right place and Mariama was beyond patient as we spent every weekend looking at new spots. I had worked with other realtors in the past who seemed like they always wanted to be closing and done with the first place you see but not Mariama. She makes you feel like you are her only priority and has all of the time in the world for you.
If she is representing you then she will be a tiger when negotiating on your behalf. She is beyond thorough in getting you the best possible deal and she even came to our title signing to make sure everything was right with the deal.
Every email or call we made she responded immediately. We often had small kiddos with us when we looked at places and she would hold my little boys hand or play with them so we could look around the place without fear of our kiddos falling down the stairs or breaking a mirror.
I cannot say enough great things about Mariama. No matter how big or small your budget she will make you feel looked after, well represented and ensure everything happens perfectly.

Mariama is an amazing Real Estate Agent. Less than two weeks ago we found a home in Clayton asked Mariama to arrange for us to see it on Sunday morning. On that same day She brought over two clients of hers to see our townhouse in Hercules. They loved our place and we loved the place in Clayton. They were accepting offers on the Clayton home by that Tuesday AM. With no time to spare Mariama put us in contact with JVM Lending. We had an approval letter by 11am the next day. Even though it was a holiday weekend they managed to do this in less than 20 hours. Mariama researched the property and the comps and we decided on an offer. There were seven offers and they accepted ours. And we accepted the offer on our townhouse from her clients. All of this happened in three days. We couldn’t have asked for a better home buying experience. If your looking for an experienced, dedicated agent that you can trust then Mariama is one to contact. Buying a home is terrifying. As a first time home buyer I contacted and was referred by friends and family to a few agents, but none of them provided me with the level of comfort, education, patience, and support the way Mariama did. We spent a lot of time going over the financials of owning a home. She prepared me for the short and long term costs. I had a lot of questions and she answered all of them. She knows the Bay Area market very well. She prepared me for the pre-​approval process, we viewed several homes (not limiting my choices or getting me too attached to one property). We went over the benefits of writing a strong offer, winning offers, opening escrow, inspections, appraisals, and closing. She made herself accessible to me 100% of the time. Her response time to my emails, texts, and phone calls was extremely fast. Let me start by saying I never write reviews! This is a MUST! I am so grateful that we found Mariama! I hear so many stories of how the home buying process is stressful. Mariama is professional and made our first time home buying process complete, not to mention all the while I was in my third trimester of my pregnancy. We closed one week before my due date!

There are few locations that we were interested in and by the following day of telling her where, she got us scheduled to see houses in those areas. She’s very Knowledgable of the area we moved in despite her not being a local there. She took the extra step of learning the areas we were interested in and was ready to answer information we asked.
We are in sellers market right now and it’s not uncommon for a house to have lots of offers. With all the great advised that she gave us, we knew we could trust her. We promptly scheduled a face-​to-​face meeting, and she was very accommodating to our schedule restrictions and short deadline, as we were trying to sell our home and move, before the upcoming birth of our baby boy.

Earlier this year I had a terrible experience searching for my home, where I lost my escrow, found a homeless person living in the garage, and overall backed out from the deal because it was a disaster. Since that episode I decided to not pursue home buying yet, and wanted to take more time to understand the home buying process. Months later, my courage built up to search again, and I stumbled across Mariama. She is the most relatable person I know. She held my hand step by step and was very knowledgeable. Any question I had, she had the right answer and more, and was very aggressive in finding the right home for me. If your looking for a realtor in the bay area, Mariama is the person to go to. Trust me, you wont regret it.

I have known Mariama in a social circle for many years and when I was ready to put my house up for sale she offered to help. I was hesitant to work with someone I know but decided to give it a try, you can always fire your agent, right.
Well, Mariama was AWESOME to work with. She is extremely professional, diligent, thorough, detailed, SUPER hard working.
