Outstanding food. Went for lunch and felt very full. 4 not 5 stars… for price. Sandwiches were $ 11! Yes quality ingredients but lunch for family of 4 with 1 child was $ 75!

The food was very bland. I’ve never had to reach for the salt and pepper at a table until this morning. Service and coffee were «fine» at best. Despite their sign saying «please wait to be seated», we awkwardly stood there until minutes later someone told us to sit «anywhere»

While riding our bikes we stopped at The Fresh Market to buy some coffee to take back to our hotel. Am I glad we did! We decided to walk a little and came upon Gruby’s. It was lunch time and we thought we’d give it a try! I ordered the chicken soup and my husband ordered his «go to» hamburger. Now, I thought I made the best chicken soup, but I can honestly say Gruby’s was better! I wasn’t sure what to expect when my husband’s hamburger arrived, but it was tasty! When we left we both agreed we’d be back again, but didn’t think it would be the next day. After riding our bikes, we decided to stop at Gruby’s for take-​out. Being a creature of habit, I ordered the chicken soup. My husband ordered the turkey sandwich, both delicious! Definitely worth checking out!

True Carnegie style deli. Had the Bronx Bomber… my husband and I agreed it was the best sandwich both of us had ever had. Staff is so courteous and friendly and work hard! We sat at the counter so had the chance to see all the sandwiches getting made — it was great all around!

Great lunch spot. Hotel recommended it to us. I was concerned when we first walked in because décor just a bit dated. That concern quickly dissipated. Service was excellent, large variety of sandwiches. Food was great, we ordered a large fry and all four of us shared — plenty!

I was looking for a quick breakfast sandwich and stumbled across this place. Ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a a bagel and home fries to go.
It took less than 10 minutes to get. The sandwich was very good. Home fries were perfectly done with onions. I looked over the entire menu while waiting and everything looked really good.

OMG this place is so good. My wife and I split a pastrami & tongue large sandwich. We asked for 2 extra slices of bread and actually made two sandwiches out of one. It really good. French fries were home made and delicious. The service– well the lady that seated us was a little abrupt but I think that was just her nature. I saw her cutting up with some of the patrons. Our server was Marrianna. Hope I spelled her name right. She was really personable and took care of our every need. The restaurant was very clean. We would difimaty go back again.
