Welcome to Studio 1444, a full service rental studio in the heart of Hollywood, CA at Sunset Blvd. and Highland Ave. We are located in the same building once home to the legendary TTG Studios, where seminal recording artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention, The Doors, The Velvet Underground, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, Tim Buckley, and many others recorded. Our creative space is ideal for: photography, film, video, documentary filming, green screen, conducting interviews, hosting private events, live or recorded music events, signings, fittings, castings, base camp, small seminars and more. We are Profoto sponsored, and also rent state of the art photography equipment and offer digital capturing and retouching services.

We offer an in-​house, *Allied Studio Services Package, for clients who are juggling many details at once, or who are not familiar to the area. Studio 1444 Photo/​Film Rental Rates:

Half Day Shoot: $ 750 per day (4 – 6 hrs)

Full Day Shoot: $ 1500 per day (10 – 12 hrs)

History

Established in 2008.

Studio 1444 is located in the same building originally built for the Knights of Columbus, in the mid 1920’s and also boasts a rich rock-​n-​roll history. The photo studio, Studio 1444 was originally founded in 2008 by Matt and Kim Beard, and acquired by Alen Lin in 2010.
