Every week we get a new shipment of fun clothing, so there’s always something new and fresh on the floor.

Our accessories are the perfect way to update your look without breaking the bank. Our purses come in almost EVERY color, shape and size. Earrings are only 3.50, necklaces go for 14.00– 20.00 and our bracelets range from 5.00 to 16.00.

Contents is a great little find on 19th street. They change up the styles of the clothes and carry a few pieces of each. Go in and sign up for thier email and recieve $ 25 off a $ 50 purchase just about every month! They have great in store events, sometimes with goodies and cocktails! One of my favorites was «buy 1 get 1 free» off 4 racks of clothes. The jewelry is always priced very reasonably and I have put together several outfits from here. The staff is always helpful!

I am working on finding a sense of style. Mine was lost tragically with the birth of my kids, but I have sent out a search party and I think we are making slow progress. I found a glimmer of hope for my style future at Contents.
Contents is an adorable, affordable boutique. The clothes are unique and I think well priced compared to other boutiques in Houston (think Rice Village and east Westheimer). The accessories are extremely well priced with earring only $ 3.00 a pair.
The staff is fun, friendly, and helpful. My friends and I had an impromptu dance party a few Saturdays ago with the staff because they were rocking the early 90s mix.
Shopping and reminiscing on middle school roller skating parties with the sales staff? I say grab a friend and couple skate on down to Contents.

I got a super cute dress here! Even more exciting, they only carry 2 of each size in each style (or at least, that’s what they told me ;)
Unfortunately, after wearing it once, I have three spots to mend where the stitching has come loose or out. To me, $ 40 (after the 1st Saturday discount) for a dress I have to fix up after one wear is pretty unacceptable.
I probably should have known better judging from the quality of the two other dresses I tried on but this one was cute and seemed better. (the reason I’m just going to mend it instead of trying to exchange)
*sigh*
Though the staff was nice, the mimosa was delish and there were several cute items, I am reluctant to spend my time browsing because I feel I’ll just be disappointing.

Let me start off by saying that even though Contents doesn’t necessarily carry the style of clothing I can pull off, I could definitely find some great pieces and accessories here. I do like to layer (Houston’s weather necessitates that), I’m just not really the tunics and leggings type of gal, couldn’t even pull it off well during the eighties. That said, they have a huge assortment of great layering pieces to put together such an outfit. Shortish dresses and really cute tunics, leggings, blouses, skirts. All retro 80s/​90s-​hip. There are also accessories galore. Jewelry ranging from earrings at $ 3.50/pair to long necklaces (all $ 15). Handbags (I saw a really sweet bronze woven pleather clutch for about $ 25) to belts. I got a really cute woven black natural fiber belt for $ 13.
If you’re shopping on 19th, this is definitely worth a look-​see. If you’re into Buffalo Exchange, the newest Houston location is right around the corner.
Also, each 19th of every month (think Jan 19, Feb 19, you get the idea), they have a little party in the store with a dj. Get it? The 19th on 19th St. Clever.
