My wife and I were impressed by the wide range of items and competitive prices. We were particularly impressed by the shoe collection. We will be returning again.

Thread is the only resale shop to go to! I have been coming here all the way from Katy for years for high quality kids clothes! Always great service and clothes are always in great condition!

I was looking to sale some GREAT gently used maternity items. A huge lot several items still had tags on them, others I only wore once or twice. Short sleeve, sleeveless, shorts, dresses skirts and business attire.
I called and asked what brand of items they took, the lady who responded said we take all brands. (Because of the area I was concerned about motherhood and it not being from“pea in a pod”)
Took the hour (one way drive) based on my phone conversation and their appointment availability. Got to the store early for my appointment unloaded my massive lot of clothing, was told it’d be about 45 minutes to look through (ok fine).
After not even 10 minutes I got a call saying my items were not what they were looking for. (NONE OF IT)
Keep in mind I already stated above I have a ton of summer items…
I get back to the store and I ask why my items did not meet what they were looking for.
«Well these items are just not what we are looking for, we are looking for summer items and this is just too winter weather items». I stated I called and asked the question directly to the person who answered my call and she simply stated «it’s on our website» well… I CALLED AND ASKED YOU CHOSE NOT TO DISCLOSE YOUR PREFERENCE ON BRANDS. I never knew Motherhood maternity was in such low taste and ghetto…
Although your maternity selection is the smallest I have ever seen along with your boys items which I did have HUNDREDS OF IN NEW CONDITION with tags and better than what you were offering… I’m not in your selective high profile price range evidently and won’t waste my time driving back to your small less than impressive store (as far as selection for boys items and maternity items are concerned)
You need to understand women that use maternity wear. We don’t want evening gowns, $ 200 dollar jeans and $ 100 dollar shirts and shorts. We need comfortable affordable good quality items.
This store is looking for high end items only. So please note that if your going to sale make sure you only take high end expensive items because they will make sure to waste your time by stating over the phone they do not exclude brands, but they do.

LOVE this store! If you’re looking for a kids consignment store with quality, non stained clothes for the right price this is your place. They even carry toys, maturnity clothes and much more! Even our kids love it there, which makes it easy for mommy to shop

I noticed that when I walked in, I was the only one who didn’t get a hello/​welcome from the cashier. I looked around and the clothes is in OK condition with a like new resale price. Saw all I had to see to never return, especially because of the cashier/​owner or whoever she was.

Crazy experience-​I took about 30 clean, baby clothes in a plastic container as instructed for my daughter. The clerk looked at them while I circled the shop for about 2 minutes. She told me they could not use them because they ALL were stained. I told her they were not but was so shocked that I did not tell her to show me the stains as I probably should have. Thing is, my daughter had purchased some from them and they had never been worn! There were some others that were brand new and never worn… The others were all washed, examed and folded neatly. Perhaps one had a stain we missed??? But ALL! I just do not understand why she would say that … If they could not use them (many Ralph Lauren, Gap, etc.) why did she not just tell me that instead of claiming they were all stained. This has really turned us off so we will not be shopping there anymore.

This is my favorite (local) kid shop! I love visiting this shop to browse for unexpected finds or to search for something specific. I can always find something special and unique for my kids.
I love getting time to chat here, too. It’s a very comfortable and personalized shopping experience.
Sharing this shop with friends (local or visiting) is a must-​do activity.
If you haven’t fallen in love with this store just yet, you need come in for a visit! You will not be disappointed!

Have been wanting to go see this store for some time now and it was so wonderful!!! The customer service is awesome and you feel so welcomed you want to buy everything!!! They have a beautiful selection and I found outfits for my granddaughter as soon as I walked in. This will definitely be a regular shopping stop for me. It’s so hard to find stores that make you feel excited and have such great merchandise nowadays that this was a treasure.

I saw a post from Kristine H’s blog about graffiti tours around town. And this was one of the stops along the way. Some of her other suggestions I have been to before but not this location. So we came out here for the picture along the back wall of the building but we also, wanted to potentially support the business. When you come inside, it’s a very cute resale shop for young children and maternity. The items were very cute but the prices were a bit high in my opinion for resell.
So come on by if you’re looking for some deals on baby/​maternity, but also enjoy the art on their wall.

Cute place but way too overpriced for used clothes. I can buy brand new clothes on sale, at Dillard’s, or carters or anywhere for these prices that have never been worn, even brand new Janie and jack on sale for what they try to sell it for used. Maternity section was totally overpriced as well. Won’t be coming back sadly since when I shop children’s resale, I’m going for bargains.

Brought in baby clothes to sell. They took only higher end brand names (Baby Boden, Andy&Evan, Kissy Kissy) which is great for their customers. I chose to take credit since cash offered wasn’t that much. Not sure if prices were fair — I don’t typically sell clothes so I can’t really rate this aspect. Shop itself is clean and cute. Owner is nice. But … When I turned around to try and spend credit, I was disappointed by the selection of toddler boy items. Some non-​clothes items for the nursery are really cute. I just saved the credit for another trip and will hopefully find something then. Not sure it’s worth my time to take anything else to sell, but it’s worth a stop if you’re in the Heights! You might get lucky! :)

I really like this resale shop! They have great baby/​kids clothes selection from the fancier brands (Janie & Jack, baby/​kids Gap, mini boden, etc). The best deal I’ve found are brand new Trumpette socks in box and not a crazy print for half the retail price, and we all know that brand never goes on sale.
They also have stock of baby gear like Ergobaby, baby bjorn, and Maclaren strollers. To keep tabs of their latest inventory, my tip is to follow them on Instagram. There’s pretty frequent uploads of what customers have brought in to sell.
The maternity section can be a miss some times but sometimes it’s on fire. Last year, I found many pairs of Paige and Joe’s maternity jeans in great condition for about $ 50. I bought a Max & Cleo maternity dress for $ 20.
The owner is soooo nice and truly cares about helping you find what you need. And if she doesn’t have what you need at the moment, she makes suggestions of where you can find it.
They periodically have $ 2 sales so be sure to watch their social media accounts for the announcements. I got my daughter a Polo Ralph Lauren dress for $ 2 because of that sale!
The best bonus is the endearing «you are my sunshine» mural outside the store, facing Zoe’s kitchen. Be sure to bring your camera/​selfie stick!

Wow! What a jewel to have in Houston! I always leave with a full bag of top of the line finds. The customer service is excellent! One of those places I visit regularly. Love the décor as well!

Super cute stuff. Picked up a floral dress with lace trim and bloomers for $ 8. Super nice cashier checked on me and made sure I found everything ok. Will be back!

Thread is amazing! The owners are savvy and kind and have the best taste. I have bought and sold with them faithfully for a few years now! When my son, who is severely autistic is with me, they greet him with love and open arms and always remember his name. They clearly care not only about their business but the community!!! The selection ranges from Childrens Place to my personal favorite Mini Boden… and more! When I’m looking for school or play clothes I go to them first. Always!!! We get the best, coolest clothes at incredible prices.

Best upscale kids resale shop in town! You can find gently used and new with tag items at a lower price. Very trendy and unique shop. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The owners aka «Thread Girls» take a personal interest in getting to know their customers and truly care about customer experience! It’s heaven for baby mama’s and daddy’s where you can find awesome stuff!

Great concept, cute selection, not organized well. The maternity selection was out of season and overpriced. The staff was ok. I found a couple things I wanted to buy but the employee and a customer took forever contemplating using cash or credit from a past consignment and I couldn’t wait any longer with my impatient toddler.
I’ve shopped there a couple of times and might come back without my daughter.

This baby consignment shop is adorable! Be aware that the location has moved and is now behind Langford Market, still easy to find though. I found some of the inventory overpriced for used apparel and gear but much less than what you would pay for full retail price. I did see two Mamaroos, both about $ 60 more than what is selling on Craigslist.
Because I’m either crazy or brave, the gender of my baby is a surprise so I couldn’t buy much this past trip; however, I did leave with an Aden + Anais blanket in pristine condition for $ 14. Not too bad!
Once this baby of mine arrives, I will definitely be back for more!
