This place takes forever. Not even funny how slow the service is here. 15+ minutes to get through the drive thru when there are only 3 cars.

I was hesitant to try this Dairy Queen because of all the bad reviews but it was the closest to my hotel. I’m glad I gave it a shot! All of the staff was friendly and my food was ready quickly. Everything tasted good except the fries were chewy and my cookie dough blizzard that had pieces of brownie in it. I would definitely recommend this Dairy Queen!

The employees are down right rude. The woman who took my order accidentally swiped my card for the wrong amount and when she asked if it was ok to swipe again for the remaining balance I told her yes and another employee came over and they started speaking in another language which I find extremely rude to do in front of customers. You understand English well enough to conduct business you can speak about the patrons and their orders in English as well. Her shoulder length hair was not pinned back either. A male employee sat against the drive thru window sill. Nobody wants to look at your ass and behind sir. WhY kind of service is this?! We didn’t get so much as a hi, hello, how are you, thanks for coming, nothing. The food was decent. My bun on my burger was a tad dry and cracked but otherwise no food complaints. The owner of this location needs to coach his employees on customer care and presentation.

This is the worst and ghetto Dairy Queens I have ever been to. It took them 20 minutes to make my food. The owner or co-owner was rude. I ordered the chicken basket and usually the toast is suppose to be Texas toast but this place uses wonder bread. I don’t like writing reviews but I need to warn y’all about this dairy queens.

This location is very poorly run. The service is bad and the ice cream does not taste like Dairy Queen ice cream at all. I gave them a second try just to make sure and it was worse than the first time. They have very very poor service. I will not be coming back. I think I will file a complaint with corporate. They are a bad representative for Dairy Queen.

I was able to try a few bites of the chicken tenders basket and french fries and I would like to try it again! Thank you Texas for Dairy Queen!

Who doesn’t love a DQ Blizzard of some variety? Sometimes one is just needed. Period. My favorites are the Brownie Batter(I’m all about anything with brownie bites in it), Butterfinger, Chocolate Extreme, Midnight Truffle, Georgia Mud Fudge, French Silk, S’mores…chocoholic pattern? Indeed. There are many different Blizzards besides chocolate so check the menu and find your favorite. Besides the tempting and irresistible Blizzard, DQ offers some decent burgers as far as fast food goes. The Mushroom Swiss Grill Burger is actually good. The country chicken & steak finger baskets aren’t so bad either. Bad for you? Yes, but once in awhile won’t hurt. DQ’s all around have undergone a major re-vamping. This one is no exception. The inside is clean and well lit. Even the outside of the building, including signs and menu board, have been redone and replaced. Prices are comparable to most fast food places. The service I’ve experienced is efficient and friendly. For a nice cold treat on a hot day(of which there are many in this area) or even for an occasional indulgence, a Blizzard may very well hit the spot. It’s not a bad place for a quick occasional lunch, either.

They don’t wear gloves when they cook… they literally put their hands on the food, fry them, and then touch other things then back to your food and etc. Nasty, thats all I can say.

I grew up in a small, small town where the ONLY place to eat was Dairy Queen. It was my only ‘fast food’ and my only ‘restaraunt’ for many years. Suffice it to say, I’ve got high expectations for any Dairy Queen. This one doesn’t dissappoint, but it doesn’t exactly thrill either. Consider my review, 3.5 stars. This place was renovated sometime in the last two years, and the inside is much nicer than you’d expect for this part of town. We’re talking soft lighting, stone, plants, etc… There is plenty of off-street parking. The food is always fresh and hot. Once, I had a blizzard that was already semi-melted when I got it, but I’m not sure if it was the super-hot day, or that it might have been ordered by someone else, sat a moment, and then was served to me. Even then, it was quite the tasty treat.

As Shaz B. has already mentioned, we decided to give this place a try since we’ve heard that it has a delicious dessert selection. This location is slightly off the Southwest Freeway on West Bellfort. It appears to be a brand new location, however, I noticed that the roads around the lot were pretty beat up and could use some work. The food hear looks really good, although, I only gave the dessert a try. I ordered a Snickers Blizzard and was extremely satisfied. There were small bits of Snickers scattered throughout the vanilla ice cream so each bite consisted of caramel, nougat, peanuts, and chocolate. Being a huge fan of Snickers, I thought this tasted delicious and something that I will definitely order whenever I go back. Furthermore, as Shaz B. mentioned, the location of this Dairy Queen isn’t the perfect location. I do wish it was located closer to my home because is isn’t somewhere I’d be willing to travel for a quick meal. I do want to go back and give their meals a try to get the full effect but that may be awhile for me. If you’re in the area or near a Dairy Queen, I definitely suggest you give them a try. They offer some unique desserts and what appears to be delicious meals, as well.
