Herbert and his wife are great friendly people. Super knowledgeable and provide great quality work. Rescued both of my grandfather’s watches. Recommended!

I took my vintage Lucien Piccard watch in and had Herbert take out some links. He did an excellent job and he and his wife were very welcoming and professional. Out the door it was $ 15, a little expensive for taking out links from a watch band but it was worth it. Herbert was very careful and precise, I will be back again for any watch needs.

I had my watch repaired in 1978; when I made very little money. I still don’t make a lot, but could not afford to have it «repaired» again back then. The repair person screwed it up. I tossed it in my dresser drawer with great regret until 2014. I brought it in to Herbert to look at. Herbert told me how screwed up the watch was that I only used for 2 years. Well he repaired it correctly and I am wearing it today.

Herberts is the most reliable, and many things he does on a walk in basis. Very sweet, honest, hardworking couple that have been repairing watches a very long time. We will never go anywhere else.

After my watch suddenly stopped ticking (and the battery had recently been replaced at another store), I discovered this place via Unilocal and the best part was the close proximity to the job. I called before I stopped in as I knew this was a small business and they may not have strict/​specific hours.
I arrived around noon and was promptly greeted by the female owner. What a sweetie! I wanted to stay just to talk to her — she was so warm and pleasant! Anyway, funny thing is when I pulled out my watch to explain to her that it was no longer ticking, it started ticking again! She told me she didn’t want to charge me to open it up and nothing be wrong with the watch since it was ticking when I brought it in. She made the joke that this was why they didn’t make more money, but she was honest and told me to keep an eye on it and come back if I had anymore trouble.
I told her I hoped I wouldn’t have any other problems and wouldn’t be back… but, if I do, I will definitely come back here! And I will also Unilocal about it and tell all my friends about this place. It doesn’t get any better than great customer service and honesty.

I have what you would say are small, dainty little wrists. I always, always need to have my time pieces that I purchase online readjusted.
I didn’t trust my most recent precious to any ol hack as it was a ceramic piece that I had purchased as a gift to myself. Noting the 60 plus years of service, I stopped in.
First off, Herbert is a certifed watch maker. He is legitimate in his profession and explained that my watch would take extra care in taking the links and strongly advised I come back later.
When I returned later for my watch, I witnessed Mrs Herbert returned the extra dollar that a woman accidentally gave her on accident.
Affordable, honest, experienced.
My wrist bling looks and feels amazing and I had a great time conversing with this lovely couple while I was at it.

Got a new battery in my Fossil watch and a new crystal since I had managed to scratch it up pretty badly. Herbert was very professional and polite, and the repair cost was reasonable.

Reasonable prices and very knowledgeable. We took several watches for batteries and repair and they were honest as to which ones were worth fixing. Delightful couple and a truly lovely experience. What a treasure!
