I took in two watches for repair/battery replacement — chanced it as a walk-in. Fortunately needed only battery replacement, and resolved while I waited. Quick, honest and efficient; reasonable price, and good customer service… highly recommended!

I went here about 10 days ago to have a watch repaired(walked in, no appointment). The watch had been sitting in a drawer for over 4 years, but they were able to get it running and fix a button that had fallen off years ago. Everything was very simple and straightforward. The fix was very timely considering the button had to be ordered. Very pleased with the place and will likely be returning there for years to come.

Was in town on business & ended up breaking my watch. The person I was with happened to have moisture in his watch, so we both went. This place is nothing fancy, it kind of looks like a pawn shop you’d see on the edge of a bad neighborhood, but don’t let that stop you! We walked in, were greeted immediately & got two watches repaired for $ 10! Turns out it’s an old family business that moved to this location years ago. The guy who did our work was friendly, proud of his business, knowledgeable, & inexpensive! We had a good experience & I’d recommend them.

The Wheeler Watch Clinic is not on Wheeler anymore, where it stood for some 30 years.(Let this be a lesson in not naming your business after a location). But it didn’t go far. It just moved down the way and is still run by the same nice family. You can often find several generations working together in this no-frills watch shop. Little attempt has been made at décor and ambiance. Watches are simply displayed behind glass counters, and some parts of the shop look like they could use a good dusting and cleaning. The back area where repairs are made is strewn with tools and papers. It’s the sort of place that says, «Hey, we’re a-working here.» The selection of watches is not that great. But what I come here for is repairs, reasonable prices, and the excellent, honest service.
