I assist clients in resolving chronic and acute bodily pain including headaches, muscle aches, joint dysfunctions, breathing problems, impaired movement and coordination, discomfort related to distressing thoughts and thinking patterns, and dysfunctions related to misalignment due to chronically held stress and tension patterns.
I am an Advanced Certified Rolfer®, I am experienced practitioner of Cranio-Sacral and Visceral Manipulation Therapy. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), and a graduate of the Hakomi Body Centered Therapy professional skills program.
History
Established in 1990.
Dan has been in full time practice as a body centered therapist since graduating in 1990 from the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
In 1996, Dan completed his Advanced Rolfing® Certification. Dan initiated his studies in CranioSacral therapy in1993 and is a teaching assistant with the Upledger Institute.
Dan graduated in 2006 from the Hakomi Institute’s three year Professional Skills Training program. Dan is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC); he completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Indiana University in 2009.
Dan earned his baccalaureate degree from Indiana University in 1986. Dan is a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) and a member in good standing with the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
