I had great experiences with all of the guys at hardwood flooring depot. They were courteous, provided competitive quote. Not the least nor the most expensive. Good install work. I am glad I found them on Unilocal.

I love my new wood floor. Reza, at Hardwood Flooring Depot, offered the best price. I went in less than two weeks before Thanksgiving. He got the job done the Friday before Thanksgiving. His installers are hard working. They are also very good at selecting the hardwood planks that are best looking (from the boxes). Simply put, If I need hardwood flooring in the future, I will call Reza.

I mostly write reviews for restaurants, but we had such a great experience with Hardwood Flooring Depot that I had to write a review for them. We met with Reza at the store and had him come out for a quote. After we got the quote we had questions and were impressed with how responsive Reza was. He answered every email the same day! We hired the company and were impressed with how professional and hard working the workers were. We believe that they competed our job more quickly than another company would have because they had a large crew of hardworking people out and they worked long hours. We are very happy with the look of our new floors. All of our neighbors have been asking us who did our floors because they look so beautiful.

We worked with Reza and had a great experience putting in flooring in our new home! Not only were they flexible with installation timeframes, but did great work and fast!

I still stand by the original 5-​star review in that they did a good job in installation, the floor looked beautiful and their prices were competitive. But I have to come back and edit this to a 3-​star review because, after three years have passed, it has become abundantly clear that the flooring they said was durable and tough was nothing of the sort. It’s beautiful, yes — but it scratches if you so much as *look* at it sideways. We had asked specifically for a durable flooring because we were going to be having young children, and that’s not what we got. I’d use them again, but I’d be more careful about product selection.

I contacted Arman, he is very pleasant to work with, great service, positive attitude! The installing team was wonderful too! We noticed some minor gaps and scratches, they came back to fix them the next day as promised! Very please with how the carpet and wood floor turned out!

I am very satisfied with the fantastic job and customer service that was given to me by everyone at Flooring Depot. Raza, the owner, personally made sure I was totally satisfied, keeping in touch throughout the process. I would highly recommend letting them give you a quote. Prices are very reasonable and everyone was very professional.

Hardwood Flooring Depot (HFD) has the best service we experienced when we went looking for our hardwood floors and rug. That’s the review in a nutshell. I’ll explain my experience more in depth, but if you want to skip to the chase, then I highly recommend the team at HFD. They communicate and they follow through. These are the two most important qualities in a service provider and HFD is the only contractor we found that had both. You place your trust in your contractors and we felt most comfortable with HFD. They weren’t the cheapest, but they weren’t the most expensive either, they were just the best.
Now for the detail, this was our first project and we had no idea how unreliable and uncommunicative most contractors would be. Basically our experience with the other contractors went like this this, «Hello, I’d like to give you money.» «Sorry, we’re not interested.» It was either that, or they did even bother to respond. One store we went to the salesperson was very nice, made an appointment to do measurements the next day and then proceeded to not show up, and this was after I saw her write the address down in her appointment book. I called and since she was already with another customer couldn’t make it, so she rescheduled for later in the day, I should say tried to reschedule since she didn’t even make the later time. What was especially disappointing was that I let her choose the day and time. I let her set the expectations and she was unable to fulfill them. That’s pretty bad in my book.
Another store we visited the salesperson didn’t even acknowledge our existence. Admittedly he was with another customer, but then you’d think he’d say, «I’m with a customer right now and I don’t know how long it will be. Can I make an appointment for you?» You’d think that would be the minimum, but nope, not a syllable from this guy. So we left, likely never to return.
After that I was not going to visit any stores anymore so I called and left messages at a few places, and unsurprisingly most of them didn’t return my call.
So I decided to try out Unilocal.What the heck? We’d been ⁰⁄₀ anyway. One of the most highly reviewed contractors on Unilocal is Hardwood Flooring Depot, and with good reason. I was hesitant about going to another store, but figured I had nothing else to lose at this point. The difference was immediate. Someone actually greeted us and asked us how they could help! Omar helped us out with selecting hardwood and carpet, later this turned in to a rug instead of carpet. He made some very good suggestions that we had no considered previously and we actually went with his suggestion. Arman took over from there. He came out and did the measurements and also had some good suggestions as well. The team that came out was a crew of 3 and they worked all day to get the floor in, Arman dropped by to check on their progress and the work. It looked good to me, although I’m a novice. Day two they came back and put in the new baseboards and two small areas they didn’t complete on day one. The floors look great! We’re very happy with the way they came out. Our project was relatively small, I think a little over 500 square feet.
A week later we put in our rug order and Arman was nice enough to deliver the rug to us free of charge! Throughout the entire process he was very helpful with our questions and concerns and was quick to reply via email, which is our preferred method since we’re so busy.
Arman mentioned that HFD is a full service contractor as well so we’re definitely planning to contact them first. We have more projects coming up since our place is very original and needless to say they’re our top choice for work. I’d recommend shopping around and then go to HFD before you make a decision because I think they’ll definitely stand out.

In summary, helpful customer service, great work quality, and competitive price. I’d definitely use them again and will be referring them to anyone.
We were referred to Arman by my wife’s parents after they had their entire house’s wood flooring installed after a kitchen leak last year. The work was great and they fixed any issues that came up quickly.
We just bought a home and the previous owners had carpet that we had to rip out. And so we visited the showroom and walked around looking at the unending options in flooring types, colors, sizes, etc. We had an idea of what look we wanted and what price range. After finding a style we wanted, we spoke with Camron on the costs and pros/​cons of the wood flooring. It was too expensive and so he showed us a couple of options that were very similar which was in our price range. And we actually liked more than the original with its three different board widths.
We had our bathroom mosaic floor tile installed first and that had a few issues with how it looked and the grout being too low after the initial install. Arman had them fix it perfectly and quickly.
Then we had the flooring and baseboards installed which took about 4 days. The crew was very nice and did great work as we checked in each night. They came early and stayed late. (We haven’t moved in yet). As another reviewer wrote there was some minor damage such as wall paint nicks and dirty hand prints but all minor and easily fixed. It’s been a couple weeks now but we haven’t noticed any issues with the flooring but I have full confidence if there was that it would be taken care of quickly.

We worked with Camron to get our wood flooring installed, and they were very accommodating to our specific needs. We opted to do a 2-​step process (separate moisture barrier & glue) instead of the 2-​in-​1 after speaking with the flooring manufacturer & taking moisture readings off our concrete slab. This isn’t very frequently done these days, as it is more expensive, but cheaper isn’t always what’s best. Camron and his crew were willing and equipped to handle this job, and their prices were very competitive.
The crews showed up on time every day, and worked efficiently. However, we experienced some issues during the install, including damage to casings, door moldings, wainscot, and kitchen cabinet toekicks. Also, we had to have 2 of our rooms re-​painted due to heavy staining from their soiled hands touching everything. Lastly, we had a sizeable chip in one of our marble tiles in the transition area to our bathroom.
Why the 5-​star review? It’s increasingly rare to find people that take accountability and responsibility for these types of things. Camron and his family chose to acknowledge the damage, and cover the cost of repairs (which was significant). I’m sure their margins were adversely affected, but they didn’t screw me, the homeowner and customer, with the repair bill.
I appreciate these guys a lot, and would recommend them to others I know. Just keep a close eye on their crew, and do a thorough inspection of your property after the install is completed.

I honestly want to give these guys a five star review. They did not do the install, but did supply all the material for the job and were never a disappointment. They quoted a more than fair price, held to their quote, delivered on time and was willing to give me tips for the installer, etc. Even the warehouse guy Omar was quite helpful and made me feel like I mattered. Mickey, Raz and all the guys down there were so true to the core and their marketing mentality is in parallel to mine. Keep the prices low enough to ensure getting the job and get more of the jobs due to price, delivery, product. Not often in this world does a company deserve the five star review and these guys do…

I cannot say enough about the EXCELLENCE in the customer service I have experienced with this company. I have been shopping around for the best prices; and given the fact I am not ready to move with my remodel at this very moment — I have experienced less than enthusaistic customer service.

We just completed a remodel which included replacing all the flooring surfaces in our home. We shopped quite extensively in the Orange County area as well as had our Contractor give us a Bid.
In that process, we met Reza at the Hardwood Flooring Depot. He is truly an expert in this field. His pricing was not only extremely competitive, actually the best, he was very helpful in recommending the right product for our project. He personally came out to our home and once he saw the rooms, he was able to help us choose the right product in both plank width and color. He even handled the carpeting in our Bedrooms, and customized the bullnose on our stair application.
All in all, we could not be happier with the way that this project turned out. Reza’s Crew was on time and completed everything on schedule.

I have redone 90% of the flooring in my home and used hardwood Depot specifically Reza to get it done. Reza has always been helpful in giving me great choices at a fantastic price. I used to buy with them when they were in a hole in the wall in Laguna Niguel and now they have a beautiful building in Irvine. They deserve it because they do good business and stand behind their products. Through the years I have dealt with Arem and Cameron as well and I am glad that I found them. Strongly recommend them!

We were in need of new flooring due to a water leak in our home office. We also chose to remove the carpet on the stairs and replace that with wood. Luckily Hardwood Flooring Depot was able to find the exact color and style wood we have throughout the rest of the house.
I had gotten one other bid prior to calling HFD. Camron not only gave me a much better price but excellent service. I had to make changes to our order numerous times and he was very understanding and accommodating.
The crew that did the installation was excellent. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out and love our new flooring!

I had HFD replace existing tile throughout my downstairs with the Tecsun Salted Carmel Acacia, engineered hard wood. I worked directly with Reza, the owner, from start to finish.
In calling around to nearly 25 different companies here is why I went with Hardwood Flooring Depot:
–Their pricing on the wood was half the price of Home Depot or Lowes and nearly two dollars less than most other places.
–Their demo prices were in-​line with everyone else, but while everyone else needed more time for the demo, Reza’s crew had the 25 year old tile and thinset out in four hours.
–The instillation charge was not the cheapest price I found, but places that were cheaper on installation charged more for the flooring. On the average, HFD came up with lower costs for material, demo, and installation.
The competitive pricing is not to be misinterpreted as poor workmanship, however.
Reza’s crew knows what they were doing. The crew was diligent, responsive, and so hard working. The team was meticulous and experienced and it shows in the quality of the installation. I have a brother who is a fine carpenter in San Francisco and he was blown away at the price and the quality of work.
On a sincere note: My dad was a contractor, so I always like to talk to the people who work on my house about their experiences. In getting to know the crew I came to learn about how much Reza has done to give his installers work when the economy was in a recession and how it made all the difference for their families. Reza’s crew is loyal, they take pride in working for him, and this means that they care about the work they do for him and the customer. This is the kind of company I like to support.

Reza exceeded my expectations and was cheaper than 2 other bids I received.
We recently moved to CDM and purchased a home that was neglected. One our of our first projects was to replace the shower in the master bedroom because the walls of the shower were slate stone and since the previous owners hadn’t sealed the walls every few months the stone began to fall apart. My concern was that the water would penetrate the walls and get to the stone and cause mold or water damage. So I contacted three people to get prices on the work.
Guy #1. He was a Spanish guy referred to me by my uncle who asked me to tell him Alex referred him whom my uncles name isn’t even Alex, but heck, if the guy is cheap then why not. Long story short, the guy came measured the whole place and told me it was going to cost $ 5500. I didn’t understand what he was going to do nor did I understand what materials he was going to use. My wife asked for some sort of paperwork in which I don’t believe he understood what I was referring to.
Guy #2. American guy who prided himself on doing a lot of the work in CDM for other houses, he was licensed and bonded, was very professional and was all about paperwork. My wife liked his presentation and felt most comfortable with him even though he wanted to do the work for $ 6500 and didn’t include replacing a few items the Spanish guy only pointed to and nodded his head at.
Guy #3 was Reza, he walks into the house and brings the sunshine with him. Immediately he and my wife get talking about the baby and brainstorming about what needs to get done. He points out that much of the bathroom doesn’t need to get done and he can tie in the parts we are going to keep with the new shower. He assures my wife that if we aren’t happy he will redo the shower. Two days go by and on the third day we peel away the protective sheets and were blown away by the work. They did exactly what we wished to have done and nailed it. They made our house look as if it belongs in CDM and really increased our house value. He charged us $ 2500 for the work and could have asked for more. They did amazing work and were very clean in the process.
The best part is my wife takes credit for him work by stating, «I knew he was going to do a great job and he totally understood what I wanted». In the end, Reza out did himself and really took into consideration what I was trying to accomplish without finding an opportunity to create a bigger job for himself. Reza is the type of guy that deserves recognition for him honesty and putting his clients interest in front of his own. I would recommend him to anyone!!!
