Josh established Carpet Depot in 1995. Coming from communication and corporate background, he realized the value of interpersonal communication and how it can be utilized in customer relations and service, which is the first rule in retail business. Being a licensed, insured and bonded contracting company, Carpet Depot has been serving customers in Orange and surrounding counties for over 23 years, selling and installing the products of all major manufacturers of flooring and floor covering materials. Carpet Depot serves residential, commercial and industrial accounts, and enjoys thousands of happy customers. Carpet Depot prices are extremely competitive and usally beat big retailers such and Home Depot, Lew’s and Empire by 20 to 30% for the same products. Best Price and Best Service. They are local and independent and actually care about their customers. I was blown away by what a great deal we got on carpet installed in our Condo. I tried calling around to bigger companies because I thought I could get a better deal, all I got were call centers and incompetent reps wasting my time. Carpet Depot were the Best by far. Got carpet installed in less than a week, plus their installers did each room in less than an hour. This was a professional job by trained installers, not some guys off the street making minimum wage. I would recommend them everyone. Thanks.

My husband and I were selling a condo and needed new carpet installed since the existing carpet was terrible. Josh helped us out and our experience couldn’t have been better. When picking out a carpet, I told him that I wanted something inexpensive because we just needed something that would show nicely. I chose one of the least expensive options and did not feel at all like he was trying to upsell and talk me into spending a bit more money (which I appreciated). Installation was easy and done within a few hours. From start to finish, Carpet Depot came through with zero hassles. Highly recommend.

Good prices and great selection. Most importantly the installation process went smoothly. We have an adjustable bed, so it took some expertise. The installers worked hard to get it all right, The end result is great.

Please take to heart what I am about to say about this business. Being a past corporate business executive, I know that the very best is not always a huge chain store with fast impolite employees. I found this Carpet Depot in Costa Mesa to be five stars from every angle.
The installation was incredibly fast and the workers were so polite and accommodating.
I believe my circumstances were a bit beyond the usual because our apartment flooded due to plumbing issues and it was a little messy and more difficult than the normal work they do.
It made no difference. They had two rooms completely finished in such a fast time I couldn’t believe it.
They took up all the disgusting old padding and surrounding wood that held down the old carpet, the disgusting remaining carpet … scraped, swept, vacuumed, and then went on to clean the floors with a cleaner. They installed the new carpet in record time.
They helped me move in and out a couple of pieces of large furniture as well.
I did have most all of my furniture already outside but there were one dresser and a sofa they helped with.
Please pay attention to what I say. If I had to call anyone ever again for any sort of flooring, it would be this business. They actually lifted my Spirit and changed so much about the horrible traumatic thing I went through with the apartment flood I had.
One more thing I need to say: «The owner is an Angel!»

We were frustrated trying to get carpet from a big box chain, and found Carpet Depot here on Unilocal.Josh was incredibly helpful, got us what we wanted in the time frame we hoped for, and was affordable. The installation procedure was painless, and he followed up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I was extremely glad we went to Carpet Depot, and I would definitely go back again.

So, I got in a huge fight with my slumlord re: replacing the disgusting carpet in the apartment I have lived in for over five years with 4 different roommates and a number of different dogs. New roommate was a nice, clean, dog-​free individual who DESERVED CLEAN CARPET.
So I was on the hunt.
Knowing absolutely nothing about carpet except that my landlord gave me a loose budget of cheap f-​ing carpet, I went into a few places but most of the carpet seemed either really expensive or really ugly and tackey etc.
However, Carpet Depot was totally fab.
Owner helped me himself. Great selection. Won’t try and scam you. Carpet looks awesome. Fast install. I accidentally did not order enough and they put a seem in the closet but you can’t tell at all and my new roommate’s room looked great. Strict about the delivery times, but I got caught in a meeting at work and was running late and the delivery guy was totally cool.
I still have nasty carpet in my own bedroom — maybe one day I’ll be able to convince my landlord to replace it and I will def be using Carpet Depot at that time.

My husband and I went to Carpet Depot to find carpet and tile for the upstairs level of our home. Josh was personable, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a huge selection of carpet and we were able to find one that we loved at a fantastic price. We had a little more trouble finding tile as the selection isn’t that big. We really wanted to have everything purchased and installed by the same company to streamline the process and Josh was patient throughout our searching process.
We made our selections and everything was installed the following week (yes, that efficient). The installers were timely and worked hard to get the job done.
The value was excellent. We got an incredible price for the carpet, tile and installation (and moving the furniture) and there were no surprises or hidden costs.
There are areas with both the carpet and tile where the edging could have been a bit neater (I was on my hands and knees cleaning grout lines before it dried on the cabinets), but we realize that we didn’t pay for super high end product or work.
I would certainly go to Josh for my future needs and would recommend his services to my friends and family.

Just used Carpet Depot to replace carpet and install new tile for two bathrooms in our Newport Coast home. The owner Josh came to do measurements on the afternoon of our initial visit and was extremely patient and helpful while we selected materials. His workers were on time each day as well as efficient and friendly throughout the process. They also took care in limiting the mess and cleaning up afterwards.
