What a great job! Thanks to Mark, Raul, and Andrew. We needed a fan installed in living room. No attic and no previous box so needed electrical box installed, holes cut, wires fished, drywall patched. Andrew came out and gave us an estimate which was the exact price I paid. Mark, the lead installer, was fantastic. Mark and Raul arrived early and did a fantastic job. They were professional, protected all the furniture, floors, walls above and beyond. They did a great job. Mark made minimal holes in the drywall and his patching job was the best I have seen. I would highly recommend this company. I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised what a great job they did. I normally do all these jobs myself but an injury prevented me from doing it myself. Don’t hesitate to use this company. Well worth the money spent!

Josh and Cesar came and installed my 4 fans, 2 pendants, and 1 bath light. They came on time, prepped all the work space by covering the floors and furniture, cleaned and vacuumed everything up at the end. They were both very professional and made sure i was happy with everything. As for pricing, I got several quotes from other companies and Install My Lights was most reasonable so I’m glad i went with them. All in all, i highly recommend this company and would def use their services again.

Install My Lights was a wonderful company to work with. From the estimate with Tonny, to installation with Fernando, Jose, Hector and Cesar. They were very courteous, professional, and had exceptional customer service. I had even called Fernando back the next day with a question and he was happy to help. We had old florescent light fixtures removed from 2 bathrooms, 2 new exhaust fans/​lights replaced, 2 new vanity lights installed, new electrical connection for bedroom ceiling fan and dining room chandelier installed, they also patched/​textured drywall where the old bathroom ceiling fixtures were. They spent a full day at my house and when they left it was just as they found it, spotless. I would not hesitate to contact them again and would highly recommend for your lighting needs! These guys are great!

During our whole remodel, Install My Lights was one of the easiest companies to work with. They provide the info you request and answer whatever questions you have, but don’t come off as salesmen or try to push anything on you. I wanted a quote for lights, ceiling fans, and a few other options and it was broken down in a very easy to understand way.
When the team arrived, I was pretty impressed by their overall efficiency. We were having lights installed throughout our entire home and they had all the employees working at our home and everyone just got to work right away. They bagged and sealed off every single area of floor and wall in no time — everything was protected and covered. They also took off their shoes while working inside, which was a very nice touch.
We have large vaulted ceilings in the bedroom and I was pretty happy with their suggestions for lights and fan placement. Unfortunately we don’t have attic access so they had to cut into the ceiling and drywall in all the rooms, but that was expected. Most of the cuts seemed small and they did patch everything.
The kitchen came out great too — they got rid of the ugly box and spaced out 6 lights throughout. It looks wonderful — they drywalled and added texture all over to match.
This was a pretty big job and while I probably could have gotten the work done slightly cheaper somewhere else, I was so glad I went with Install My Lights. The professionalism of the employees and pride of work goes a very long way, not to mention the great job throughout. If you’re thinking about lights, this is definitely the company to go with. I’m already planning on having them back out to upgrade our bathroom lighting.

We have been renovating my new construction home in Irvine over 4 months now.
I hired Install my lights to install lighting fixtures/​fans and some other electrical works 5 times separately.
Every single time, i mean it, every single project has been done perfectly the way i wanted to be.
The installation team knows what they are doing. They are the most knowledgeable and hell creative as well.
There were some hiccups on couple projects by complicated structures in my house, but Andrew and his colleagues found the ways to make it perfect.

Install My Lights provided recess light installation services and pendant light replacement at my home on May 14, 2016. I am extremely thankful to have found them for this service. Love the work they did and will DEFINITELY recommend their service to any customer. The following highlights my reasons for their 5-​star rating:
1. Excellent customer service and responsiveness — Prompt response by Andrew with both requesting initial meeting and various questions regarding my pendant lights. He offered great advice and was extremely patient with me through all the inquiries. They also called me to confirm our work appointment.
2. Professional — Hector and Cameron performed the actual installation work on-​site. They treated my property with respect and care. Extremely high quality of work, including patching the dry wall holes. Very attentive to detail and efficient. They ensured the house was cleaned up well before leaving the work site.
This is only the first phase of remodeling at my house. I would absolutely continue with InstallMyLight for all future lighting projects.

Love my new lights!!! They came exactly on time, the process was fast clean and they didn’t leave any mess behind. The pricing was great too, if you pay by heck, you get a 2% discount.
I even had my baby sleeping in the other room and they were so kind to keep as quiet as they could.
Before, We had one lamp light in the living room and one chandelier light over the dining area but these new lights brighten up the house so much!!! No need for lamps or anything else. Even in the daylight the room looks so bright!

Although I am not going with these guys, I am leaving a positive review for the following reasons.
1) setup appt via phone with no trouble
2) Andrew arrived on time
3) he brought a case which shows the type of lights and switches they offer
4) he answered all the questions I had and provided suggestions
5) received their quote by next day as they stated
6) took off his shoes when entering the house

We are loving our new recessed lights! After seeing all the great Unilocal reviews, we decided to give Install My Lights a call and get a quote. Andrew came out that same week, and gave us a really reasonable quote to get recessed lights installed for our living room and playroom. We got 4 recessed lights for our living room, and 2 for our playroom. The quote came out to be about $ 85/​per light.
On the day of the install, Hector and Jose came promptly at 8 am to get to work. They covered the entire space with plastic to keep the dust/​drywall to a minimum. They were done in 2 hours, and our new lights and dimmer switches look fantastic.
They also mentioned that our lights are guaranteed for however long we remain in this house. As long as we live here, and something needs fixing/​repairing in regards to the lights, they’ll come and take care of it at no charge. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Install My Lights!

I received a free estimate where they told me the cost upfront with no hidden fees. I scheduled the actual installation two weeks later and everyone was on time (actually early), courteous, completed work exactly as I wanted and cleaned up after. This company is AWESOME! We have an add-​on room in our house that has a flat roof with only about 4″ of clearance in some areas. They came out and setup the area that looked like a hazmat unit quarantined off the room to ensure no mess was left behind. They started the process and realized they were unable to install any recessed lights due to the can housing exceeding the 4″ clearance. The installers then had to leave but told me not to lose hope and that they would look for a solution.
Low and behold I received a call from them saying they had found a low profile solution that they thought would work. They came out and went through their «quarantine» process and started the install. It took the installers a bit longer as these lights were a new product but they did an amazing job! The lights are awesome and the room no longer feels like living in a cave.
I cannot say enough about the expertise and professionalism of the installers and Andrew (our sales consultant). When they left it was like they were never there as they just rolled up the plastic and were like the wind. On top of all of this, the price was waaay below what I would have expected to pay.
These guys will be my go-​to for anything having to do with lighting in our home from here on out — thanks!

I rarely write reviews for companies on Unilocal,but in this instance I felt it necessary to give these guys credit for their work.
I had 16 recessed can lights installed in 4 rooms, 1 ceiling fan and 4 under cabinet lights installed in the kitchen. All of this was completed in 1 day.
Everyone was efficient and courteous from start to finish. I was actually surprised at how non-​invasive it was. The lights were installed but when they left it was as if no one had been there, it was that clean.
I would 110% use them again for any future lighting needs.

So I’ve now had Andrew and his teams of installers out to two different homes on 4 different occasions. Every interaction with them has been excellent. It’s amazing to watch the attention to detail when setting up for jobs. Drywall usually goes everywhere with work like this, but the installer teams spend a great deal of time quarantining areas where their work will take place with plastic sheeting on the walls and floors. They also do a great job at patching any drywall holes made to fit wires. When they say it will be ready for paint, they mean it! The clean up, even at the end of a long day, happens with the same attention to detail.
On a side note about Andrew, he always has taken the time to give me suggestions on lighting, types of bulbs and the best sources for them even if he doesn’t sell the solution he is recommending. It speaks volumes about his character and why Install My Lights has nothing but 5 star reviews.

We couldn’t be happier with how our recessed lighting turned out in our living room.
We were given a reasonable price for the installation of 4 lights + dimmer. The owner came to give us a free estimate and came out a week later for the scheduled job.
The team arrived on time and were thorough in explaining the kind of work they would be doing. They told me it would take about 3 – 4 hours to do the work.
When they arrived, they were meticulous about covering the floors and walls so no dust would fall on our carpets and they were able to finish in just over 2 hours! The best part was that they were somehow able to install all 4 lights and the dimmer switch by only drilling holes for the recessed lights themselves.
I fully expected (and was fine with) them cutting into the walls to do the wiring and was told that they would do the patching and texturing if they needed to cut into the walls and I would just have to do touch up paint. After they finished, I was amazed to see that the lights looked original to the house, literally no holes in the ceiling other than where the lights went in. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants lighting installed in their home.

Called these guys back to install four more recessed lights in our formal dining room and were just as satisfied with the process/​results. Andrew was super quick to respond to emails and he set up a date for us really soon. Mark and Thomas were our guys this time around. They showed up within the mentioned time frame, asked a few questions about my preference, got to work and left me to my emails in peace.
They finished the job up within a few hours and left the place spotless, like before. Afterwards, I noticed the bulb that had died in our existing chandelier even came back on after they were done with their install. Miracle workers? I don’t know… you tell me!
Unless I move far far away or keel over, these guys will get all my light biz!

My Install My Lights experience was exceptional!!! From the estimate by Andrew to the completion of my job by Andrew, Victor, Juan, Hector, Mark, Thomas, Cameron and Fernando, everything exceeded my expectations!
I had, what I thought was a large project: removing soffits in two bathrooms and replacing the lighting; hanging two chandeliers on vaulted ceilings; hanging a TV; replacing all outside light fixtures; installing new recessed lights; removing and replacing all light switches and outlets; and the list went on!
These guys arrived on time in the morning, covered everything in plastic and got the entire job done by 3:30pm — including drywall repair and texture from the soffit removals!!! Amazing work at a reasonable price!!!

Andrew was the electrician who provided an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable and provided recommendations as well as insights.
The cost was reasonable and affordable. Each room cost around $ 600-​$ 700. The best part was they patch the dry wall and installed 5 rooms/​areas in one day, from 8:30am-3:30pm.
The installers were Hector, Fernando, Juan and Cameron. They did a great job, very friendly, helpful and considerate. The work was quality and we felt comfortable with them in our home.
We love our new lighting, the new lights make a huge difference! And now we can get rid of the lamps all around the house.
We did notice one light switch isn’t a dimmer as we expected, but I have no concern that they won’t be willing to return to change the light switch. We already have them returning soon for another job upstairs.
