I get it, it’s a «locals» bar… half of the patrons work at the nearby Kona Brewing Co. My wife & I walked into the bar on a «busy» Monday Night (afternoon in HI) football. What can I say, no customer service, rude staff, draft beers were out (blamed it on the Ironman Triathalon). The staff made sure they took care of the non-​paying locals & pretended we did not exits. Yes they were pouring plenty… on the house. I had to walk to the bar three times to get a beer… ordered a Longboards which was out & got a PBR! Did the bartender think I was a moron. Total attitude & said oh my bad… we’re out. She knew what she was doing & I called her out. I live in San Diego… a tourist destination & can tell you, establishments treat you well especially when nicely tipped. There are plenty of other places in Kona that are cleaner & customer services oriented. Skip this place…

Best bar in town! Always great drinks and bartenders. Not meant for tourists, no blenders for foo foo drinks. Come have a beer and shot and hang with your friends! You can order food from the restaurants next door.

There is no food drinks only fyi. Although there is no food the bar tender was behind the bar sharing food with patrons asking our order with her mouth full and seemly anoyed her dinner was interupted. We would have stayed for another but we felt engorged and that she was incovinonced by our presents.

Love the atmosphere; open air, plenty TV’s for sports, awesome staff, drinks are mixed well. Great place for a small or medium size group. No food; however you can bring your own potluck or walk next door & bring back in bar.

Great place for drinks. Super chill. Full bar. No food! But you can bring in outside food, and the next door Thai restaurant and Chinese restaurant have great food.

This bar is open and not a karaōke bar. The bartenders are awesome. The locals are passionate and friendly. They have reasonable prices. They have many tvs and all the sports channels. They don’t have food but a place next door does. Had a great time, they also play great music.

Was recommended this bar by a local bartender. Was totally disappointed by the girl at the bar. After being completely ignored for ten minutes she finally decided to ask our orders, we ordered two beers, easy enough and we asked if there was food. Was told no food then she proceeded to take out food from the kitchen to eat in front of us with her pals and ignored us until we asked for our tab. The entire time she was more focused on giving her buddies and local bar staff free drunks then paying any attention to customers who normally tip 30−40% every time. Today one big fat zero…
