Comfort Suites At Katy Mills

Oh my god, can u imagine that there is PEE in the bed when you are ready to relax, and you lie down on it!!! We had to change the room, retaking shower, all our pajama got stinky pee smells… nightmare!!!

Hotel was very clean and well-​maintained. However, another guests key was coded for our room and he literally walked right in our room. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk, he was already made aware of the situation by the other guest. I was told that the «computer» did it. When we returned to our room, our keys had been deactivated. This caused us some concern for our safety, so we decided to change hotels. There was no apology from the hotel and when I contacted the GM I was basically called a liar and he suggested that the other guest knocked on my door and I let him in! I completely understand that mistakes happen, but to call a guest a liar is unbelievable. Hotel was very nice, customer service was terrible.

The hotel was really clean! We like to stay with Comfort Suites because they tend to be the best for the money. The Katy Mills location did not let us down. They even clean the bathroom fan! Price was fair too. I would recommend staying here for Houston activities.

While this hotel is new and appears to be clean, the staff is anything but hospitable. Without going into the long story, just know that if you need to speak to the GM, he is «never available». He is either «on a trip» or has «just returned from a trip». You can email him — he will not respond; you can go down to the hotel desk and ask for him — he will not be there and there is no one who make a decision about your problem. You can call him direct and he will not return your call. You can leave your number at the hotel desk and he will not call. There are too many nice hotels around this area to put up with rude behavior. You hope you never need to speak to the manager while at a hotel, but when you do – you hope he/​she is around or that someone who can do something to help is available. Not so here. Will never, ever stay here again!

This might be one of the nicest and newest Comfort Suites in the chain. Not a whole lot of amenities, and the location isn’t very exciting, but the hotel is clean, the room are spacious, and everything still feels new and unadulterated. There is plenty of parking, and a strip mall with lovely restaurants behind it. Fairly standard breakfast fare, except for the fact that they had miniature, hot, cinnamon buns, which was a lovely addition. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the Katy area.

Very dark and very basic. On the upside, the property is clean and appears to be well-​maintained. The rooms are comfortable but very, very dark. Even with all the lamps turned on, you feel like you’re in a cave. Can be depressing after a couple days. Also, the flow restrictor in my shower reduced the flow to an annoying trickle. Breakfast is well stocked and the options are typical of a cereal and Texas waffle set up. There is no happy hour after work. Staff was friendly. In my opinion, there are better options in this price range near the Katy Mills Mall.

I booked my room here for my first night wandering through Texas. I stay at Comfort Suites when possible, and I will say, this is the nicest one so far! The room was large, and seemed larger due to the hight ceiling. (I was on the first floor.) The color palette was current and the whole place smelled new. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept for 11 hours! (I was exhausted, very stressful week.) Next time I am in the area, I will book a room here.

Nice, affordable hotel.
We have enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are nice and tidy, and decorated in soothing tones. And most importantly, they have an in room coffee pot and excellent blackout curtains!
There is a snack bar in the lobby in case you get the late night munchies. There is also a complimentary breakfast each morning.
Conveniently located near Walmart, shopping centers, Katy Mills Mall, and many restaurants.
