I contacted the corporate office and was sent a certificate for a free night. Haven’t used it yet but will let you know how it turns out. Giving a 3 star because the employees and corporate were all so nice.

Well, they improved the water pressure a bit, but the place is otherwise even worse than it used to be. There was crusted white stuff all over my comforter (gee, I wonder what that was). When I asked for a different one, they brought up a stiff old blanket… I sent that back as well, until they got a good one.
Overall, the room just felt dirty… not acceptable for a Hilton of any kind.

The hotel management needs to tell the kitchen workers to relax a bit. I was just lied to by a server in the breakfast area. I thought there was complimentary breakfast but before I sat down I was bombarded. She asked me what I wanted and I told her that I was going to go up and get it and she said «no, what do you want?». I proceeded to order from her and the eggs I received had a hair in them. Please tell the servers in the breakfast area to stop pestering customers.

Great place to stay! Great location, close to Katy Mills Mall. Tons of stuff to keep the kids entertained such as Jump Street in the mall, Chuck E Cheese next door, Bass Pro Shops on a block away. It’s also not far from the Topgolf which is great to fill time and have a drink. Staff was polite and helpful and we would stay here again and sure to recommend

We reserved this hotel as a group for a wedding. We reserved 30+ rooms.
For starters, one of our criteria for booking was that the hotel shuttle would transport hotel guests to and from the rehearsal and wedding venues. The night of the rehearsal dinner the shuttle stopped running at eleven (the end of the dinner was 11 and times were disclosed prior to booking) and stranded our guests at the venue. We were left scrambling in to get cars and shuttle our guests back to the hotel. This was a disaster and very inconvenient.
The day of the wedding, 2 of our guests arrived 1.5 hours before the beginning of the wedding only to find that their confirmed rooms had been given away. With only 1.5 hours until the ceremony, they had to scramble to find other accommodations.
Both of the situations are unacceptable. I love Hilton Garden Inn but would never recommend this hotel for a group booking.
In addition, the noise level in the rooms was high and most of our guests complained that their mattress was hard despite being adjustable.

Not much point in being a Hilton DIAMOND member, if you are going to have to empty your wallet of ID, confirmed credit card number, etc before admittance ia. granted…thank you Get Over Yourself Chelsea… at least it did not come down to Scars & Identifying Marks!

Most of the staff is exceptionally friendly. The location is great and the rooms are clean. Kids eat free breakfast too which is great! Good pricing — always ask for best available rate when you call. It’s cheaper than on line rates. Highly recommend!

The Hilton Garden Inn is my favorite hotel. The have a great people working all through out the lobby and in the hotel. The bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat with gourmet meals at an affordable price and the drink/​food featured special whiles are always great. There is even a gorgeous patio which is peaceful service is good all aroun ideal for socializing with coworkers. Great place to be with colleges of mine and even friend’s/family.I wanted to impressed with the overall experience I had there at Hilton Garden Inn. The ambiance and service was GREAT! Free Wifi at all times with great clean rooms to stay as well, with all the special features a hotel could possibly have. We will see you there again soon!

I realize this review might not help that much, but it was a nice place. The meeting rooms were clean with modern technology pre-​wired, and the room was spacious and clean with the standard amenities.
I was facinated by their promise to ensure guest satisfaction as I did not feel anyone went out of their way for me. I believe if you are going to post a promise with a pledge to comp any fees you should work harder to ensure you fulfill the promise.
However, I slept well enough and have nothing to complain about and that’s good enough for three stars (which is tantamount to saying «eh») so I’ll ensure I say so.

My stay on the evening of January 26, 2012 was very good. Staff was great. My issues with the Hilton Garden Inn Houston West Katy was my failed attempt to receive a receipt for my room service meal. My employer requires an itemized receipt for all services and I did not receive one when I check out on January 27. I called last week and the receptionist said that a manager would send it on as soon as they came in that morning. I did not receive anything. I then called the following week and was told the same, that a manager would contact me with the receipt. But no manager contacted me. Make sure you get all receipts before you leave because they will not make any efforts to assist you after you have checked out.

Stayed again this weekend. I am so impressed with the staff here. What a pleasure to call HGI Katy our home away from home when we visit my home town. «We’ll be back» goes without saying!
